Can I get rid of my comcast cable account and use apple TV only?

I just want to get rid of my cable account completely...is that possible and will I still get to watch my favorite shows?

The ATV does not provide live shows, only content streaming from the Internet or the available apps.

After having payed fo an account for one year for Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 i keep getting the message ,that I am using a trial version of Photoshop CC.
Lightroom on the other hand is not functioning in a trial version !
Could anyone tell me how I can start working with Photoshop CC while not in trial mode ?

I Don’t know how I di dit, but when I started Photoshop this mornig all of a sudden it worked.

you can't get rid of it, it's a preinstalled app and you can't delete it. You can hide certain preinstalled apps using Restrictions, but newsstand isn't one of them.

I have a user ID I can't get rid of on my iTunes account

I got a replacement iPad because screen cracked and I can't get into my iTunes account now because there is a weird username and I can't get rid of it!

The iforgot support is if you forget your password, you still know your password, so you don't need that anyway.
I would recommend erasing the iPad completely and starting all over again. ID you backup with iCloud you can restore your content from the iCloud backup. If you backup and sync with iTunes, you can do the same with that. Only difference being when using iTunes, you must restore from the backup and then sync the iPad.
To erase completely go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings. You will have to start all over again as I explained. The store gave you a device with someone else's ID and account still on it, and I would not want to use it without erasing it first.

A bookmarks list has appeared on the left side of my screen and I can't get rid of it. Tried restore and even uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox 4.

I don't know what I can add. The bookmarks list is on the left side of the screen and crowds everything else to the right so that I can't read it. I've tried everything I can think of to move it or get rid of it.

Can't get rid of mobile me mail account

Hello all,
When I was setting up my mac, I inadvertently told it I had a mobile me account, one based on my old apple ID. I decided ultimately not to set up a mobile me account, and set up my mail accounts. Now, whenever I open mail, it asks for the password to smtp.me.com:username.
I deleted the mobile me account in preferences, but it doesn't matter - the **** thing pops up and asks for a password everytime I open it.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of it asking for my mobileMe access for an account I don't have?

How can I get rid of a previous iTunes account on an iPhone?

I had my iPhone under an iTunes account that is no longer valid. I have connected my iPhone to a new iTunes account but everytime I try to turn on iMessages or update apps, I am prompted to type the password for the previous account. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?!

You can't cancel an iTunes account.
All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. In order to install an app update for an app that was downloaded with your other iTunes account, you must use that iTunes account and password. You cannot combine accounts or transfer DRM from one account to another.

i am using the systemshell.vi provided by labview the VI is working fine but it will open a dialog box for printer selection and properties. i would like to hide that dialog box and have it print to the default printer with the default properties

ShellExec is part of lvwutil and merely calls a function in Shell32.dll. There is nothing about the function call that controls the display of the printer dialog. I think that what shell32.dll does when it prints (just like right clicking on the file) is print the file according to what is defined about that file type in Windows Folder Options. On my Win2K system, the print application is defined as "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\msohtmed.exe" /p %1. If I remove the /p, then Word starts up and in order to print, I get a printer dialog when choosing Print from the File menu. So it seems like the printer dialog is entirely dependant on the application that does the printing. I get no dialog when I use the VI to print a .txt file. I
nstead of using shell32, you might want to try some ActiveX method or property of an application like Internet Explorer that can open and print an html file.

On my mac mini, the old 2.0.0.9 version is the default browser even though I downloaded v.3.16.19. How can I get rid of the old version once and for all?

I would like to eliminate the old version completely, as it comes up automatically and I don't see a way of deleting it from the mac.

I think the problem lays with Last.fm. I had the same exact problem as you. In your processes screen, end the task "lastfmhelper.exe" Last.fm still scrobbles. The tracks don't skip, although I notice there is still a bit of a lag in the first part of the song - but if you can deal with that, no skipping. I think you will have to end that task everytime you boot up your computer, or uninstall last.fm completely until they fix it; it is a bug in their software, as opposed to iTunes.

There are only icons for the bookmarks, however I need the name and the website address in a list view as I cannot handle over 6,000 bookmarks in an icon window... any suggestions?

I can understand wanting to organize and arrange your Safari bookmarks in a way that is beneficial to you. There may be a couple of different solutions to this. The attached article explains how you can see your bookmarks using the Show or hide the sidebar button as well as enabling the Favorites bar which is similar to previous versions of Safari.

How can I get rid of an old iphone account as blocking all my streaming

I keep getting an old iphone account id popping up and asking me for passwork to access apple, I have registered a new id but cant seem to use it as the old one won't disappear, any ideas?

Thanks for the help, I have changed all my icloud, itunes and Apple to a new account name, but its just that when the phone 4s, asks to sign in it doesn't give me the option of choosing which account I want to sigh into, it just brings up my old account name. I'm thinking I may have to visit and Apple shop.
