where the asterisks represent your password. The commas are for pauses. Then whenever you dial that contact, it will call Voice Mail, wait for the Voice Mail Lady to ask for your password, input your password, and take you to your messages.

In your case i would contact Toshiba memory support. You can give them a call or write an e-mail, have a look on Toshiba memory page:

I have one random Apple ID that appears only when I go to itunes or App Store. For everything else I have my Apple ID and password all set. Can I get rid of this thing?

In one of the help pages for managing your Apple ID (http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40), it shows two separate sections, one for Apple ID and one for Primary Email address. When I go to manage my Apple ID, I see only a single section for both. Can the two be 'separated', especially when you face the situation of having to discontinue your email address for some reason?
I also noticed that when navigating to Apple ID Support Communities, it shows my nickname 'dishdy'. How and when did I insert this? In the current sequence for creating an Apple ID I don't see this. In my current profile I don't see this.
In any case, I have freed myself from my previous Apple ID (@artemis.it) on my iPhone.

If you're referring to activation lock, no. If the phone is activation locked, you can not activate it without the credentials originally used to lock it.
Why don't you explain exactly what the problem is.
If you have a passcode set and don't want one, then set up Touch ID to make it faster for you to access the phone. Turning off the lock screen passcode entirely is not smart.

Since applications from the app store are linked to the Apple ID - in this case your old email - used to purchase or obtain them, you will need to have the password to that Apple ID in order to update those apps. I'm still not clear about what you mean about unlocking your phone. Normally, "unlocking" means entering the password if the phone is locked, which you should be able to do from the phone itself. If you want more help with this, you really need to take the time to furnish all the relevant details.
I have a MacBook Pro, and yes when I connect my iPhone on it it shows up in the devices list.
When you do that & click on the iPhone in the list, then click on the "Apps" tab at the top, do you see the apps you can't update listed there? If you click on the "Store" menu item does it show near the bottom that you are logged in with your own Apple ID?
As wjosten said, it sounds like one way or another, the apps you cannot update were obtained using your friend's Apple ID. You need to delete them from your phone & try buying them again. If they were in fact paid for with your own Apple ID you won't have to pay again; otherwise you will.
