Can i get some more info on the zen v p
prefferibly the 8 gig. I want it because its small, and im able to run with it. I had the micro photo, and i didnt read that you shouldnt run with it untill it was too late, and it stopped working. I was extremely happy with the micro photo, and after liking mine, my mom and sister bought it. I also like the v plus because my dad has it?i have just a few questions tho. im ok with the video quality not being the greatest, i understand the screen is tiny, but it still would be nice on those longer car rides to have some form of video, how much space does a full length movie take up?ill have about 2,000 songs on my player, but i always like having the comfort of being able to add more, so if space is a problem id like to know how it would conflict with having video.
on my dads v plus he has a few short clips and they turn out alright looking, acceptable for a small player like this. i really like this player, but would also like the video option, a bigger player, or a hard dri've player wont work, because ill run with this pretty much every day and running with my micro photo is how im pretty sure i screwed it up. i would definatly like to stay with? creative because with the few problems i've had with them, its been pretty much my fault ( not paying attention?to directions, not the best care, etc.)
I don't use my ZVP for video, so my knowledge is a bit limited. However, the ZVP is As you say) small & it does not have the processing power to decompress video files, so it can only show uncompressed video. This means that it is not really suitable for watching videos of any length cos they turn out HUGE...
I like my ZVP! I use it mostly for listening to music at work, occasionally the radio, and sometimes for recording on line in (vinyl & li've stuff).

That is NOT the correct way to play around with IDOCs.
the correct way is to create an enhancement to an exiting IDOC (this is done on the SAP R/3 side) after you craeted an enhancment you reimport the IDOC in XI from the R/3 and then you have a new structure with the new fields you need.
worst case scenario you can define a new IDOC type just with the fields you need.

I bought my Pa a Zen Vplus 4 GB 2 years ago and he still cannot get it to work!
I li've overseas so on my few trips back I try desperatley to get it going and still failing.
I have checked the posts on here and can confirm they are on a Windows XP and a service package 3
I have uninstalled and then reinstalled all the software - however the computer rejects Windows media player as incompatible?
So when everything is loaded (apart from above) I then plug the Zen in and I get a pop up saying One of the USB devices atached to this computer has faiiled and windows does not recognise it.
When I go into the Creative page where you download it also says the Zen is not connected.
It charges when in the port - and the device manager says the device is working?
Please can anyone help - but please remember that I am not that computer literate and I will need to explain this all down the phone to my mum who is in her 70s so any long and clear?explanations would be grateful!!!!!!I?don't know if I can help, but as I am 70 myself at least I understand that your mother may have a problem. Now I do not use my ZEN with the Windows Media Player but use the Windows Explorer or the Creative ZEN Manager from the installation CD for putting new items onto my ZEN. I am sure that you installed the programs from the installation CD first on the computer before plugging in the ZEN, if not try to uninstall everything and start from scratch again.
Also I found that some of the USB ports do not like all devices to be connected to them, so you may have to find another USB port that likes the ZEN, but apparently you have already found a port that recognizes the ZEN. So your parents might be ale to put music or other mp3 files onto their ZEN by simply dragging them onto the ZEN. For lthis they should open the device manager and double click on Music and then using the mouse click on the items they wish to put on the ZEN and then drag and drop them or use the Copy facility and copy them to the Music file of the ZEN.

i moved from country to another, changed my info in app ID and still can't get some apps because item not available in the home country's store? any idea?
It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

ok, so I transferred my 3S info to my 4S by restoring from an old phone backup. But SIRI is gone and god knows what else?? Can I get my old stuff into the new phone and keep the 4S new functionality?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

I changed my username and now afp doesn't show any users. I have file sharing on. And also when I select "get more info" on the shared folders they don't have my username in there. it just has "applepc(me)" my old username before changing it showed the correct username? please any help would be great.
Turn Time Machine OFF temporarily in its preference pane. Leave the window open.
Navigate in the Finder to your backup disk, and then to the folder named "Backups.backupdb" at the top level of the volume. If you back up over a network, you'll first have to mount the disk image file containing your backups by double-clicking it. Descend into the folder until you see the snapshots, which are represented by folders with a name that begins with the date of the snapshot. Find the one you want to restore from. There's a link named "Latest" representing the most recent snapshot. Use that one, if possible. Otherwise, you'll have to remember the date of the snapshot you choose.
Inside the snapshot folder is a folder hierarchy like the one on the source disk. Find one of the items you can't restore and select it. Open the Info dialog for the selected item. In the Sharing & Permissions section, you may see an entry in the access list that shows "Fetching…" in the Name column. If so, click the lock icon in the lower right corner of the dialog and authenticate. Then delete the "Fetching…" item from the icon list. Click the gear icon below the list and select Apply to enclosed items from the popup menu.
Now you should be able either to copy the item in the Finder or to restore it in the time-travel view. If you use the time-travel view, be sure to select the snapshot you just modified. If successful, repeat the operation with the other items you were unable to restore. You can select multiple items in the Finder and open a single Info dialog for all of them by pressing the key combination option-command-I.
When you're done, turn TM back ON and close its preference pane. -
I can't get some song on my iphone they work off of the computer but they wont show up on my phone they are in the "on my iphone" section but they gray and have a gray dotted circle next to them i have tried every thing I just want them on my phone HELP!!!
You have posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not seem to be related to. Is your question concerning iTunes Match or syncing with iTunes via USB?

I've twice tried to use iTunes match. It stalls in step 2. I've rebooted my iMac computer and it still stalls. Apple's taken the $25 but not delivered the service. Can I get some personal help? There are 12,733 songs, a few dozen of which are not going to be in the Apple music library because they are unique to my collection. Also, some titled "Track XX" and no artist. I assume these would either not upload or else just be uploaded. But, after an overnight of step 2, the iTunes match program was still on song number 7384 or 12733 (it was on that number for over 12 hours). Looking in the music library, activating the iCloud icon and status fields, there were hundreds of songs with the status "waiting."

Well it could still be a software problem if you installed a third party program after the OS X wipe and install, because by booting into Safe Mode it disables certain functions of OS X and hardware. Check for updates or problems for all your third party software, include everything, including menulets, System Preference panes, hacks and so forth.
If you restored any sort of software from backup like TimeMachine, it likely was corrupted data and now is returned.
If the college tech support found a lot of dust clogging the rear exhaust vents behind the fans, then likely the heat damage done to the machine has already occured and can't be reversed. Video cards are usually first to go, which Safe Mode does disable the video card somewhat.
Run through this list of fixes, it's systematic in nature, also has a Hardware Test to see what's going on

I followed the steps to restore to factory settings now I can't get back my info from a prior backup. My pads screen was frozen on the connect to iTunes I needed to restore. I had to setup my pad as if it was new. How do I acess my prior backup
Once again, KP is correct, but I just want to add that if you don't see the backup in the drop down menu on the summary page of iTunes when you choose the restore from backup option, then the backup is unfortunately gone. If you backup your computer, the iPad backup should probably be in that computer backup. I use Time Machine with my MacBook Pro and can access backups from months ago.
On a side note, I also archive backups from time to time. If you right click on a backup name in iTunes>Edit>Preferences>Devices (Windows) or iTunes>Preferences>Devices (Mac) you can save that backup or archive it. It will be date and time stamped. I have no idea why I do this to the degree that I do it, but I probably have 12-14 iPad backups archived in iTunes. -

Try using DFU/Recovery mode to restore
1. Plug iPhone 4 to computer
2. open iTunes
3. Turn off iPhone
4. Press home and power button for 10 seconds
5. Stop pressing the power. Button but keep pressing down the home button
iTunes should say the following; "iTunes won't be able to use your iPhone until you restore your device"
Then you'll have the option to restore and it should work, it has worked for me in the past -
