Can I get the AD Login to fill in the Proxy Authentication?
Hi,
Here at work (an FE college) we have a windows based Proxy system that it's as hard as Fort Knox. Currently, when users have logged in, the Proxy Authentication box pops up, the users fill in their details, then another pops up and they fill it in again (one is for HTTP, the other HTTPS). Thing is, for some people, it continually pops up, causing great annoyance and complaints.
What I would like to find, is a way that when the user logs in (using the AD for authentication), that the details are then placed into the relvant fields in the Proxy Authentication.
I don't work for the IT department, so I'm not in a position to know many answers about the windows based stuff, but will try to follow any advice or questions you have.

The security code is the Apple ID of the person who setup the account. You will need to have the person you purchased the iPhone from remove their information from the iPhone.

Not that I know. S&T pricing only applies to verified institutions. Could well be that you may need to fill out a paper with whatever governmental authority is responsible on the planet you live, but otherwise you're just a private business like any other and would most likely deduct the expenses from your tax bill...

tksDoes your portal support anonymous access? If so, make sure you are using the authlessanonymous mode. This mode only creates one session that is shared for all anonymous users. This is much more efficient than anonymous access, which creates a session for each anonymous user.
I have no other recommendation for limiting users to a single login. In general, web applications do not behave like this. What if a user closes their browser without logging out? Does the user have to wait until the session times out in order to log back in again?
The same thing is true for users that are mobile. If a user leaves their office without logging out and then attempts to log in with a laptop in the conference room, then access will be denied in your implementation. Users do not expect this type of limitation being built into the system.
If you are having problems scaling, then you need to look at your architecture and perhaps add some more resources. Also, make sure you are making efficient use of the authlessanonymous access mode as stated above.

How can I get my books that I download from the Library that are WMA files into my I tunes so I can listen to them. They have a ton of books but I can only listen to them from my windows media player and I wouldlove to download to my I pod but I have tried everything I can think of it they won't go over. Well it started happening AGAIN with my 2nd IPod. No matter what I did, it Itunes would NOT restore it!
I finally installed Itunes on my hubby's PC at work and managed to get it restored there.
Apparently, there must be some sort of compatibility issue with the windows version of Itunes and some other piece of software on my pc.
And one more important thing! I had to follow the instructions in the other thread that talks about how to correctly uninstall itunes and quicktime, in order to completely eliminate ALL traces of my "first" ipod's existence so it wouldn't demand that I restore it.
I think the software got "confused" and thought when I connected my 2nd ipod, that it was the 1st and that it still needed to be restored.
Basically, this is just POORLY written and POORLY tested software! -
How can I get a file to copy all of the files in a directory except itself and the source of the copy function will be the directory the final program is in? This application must be in Lab View 8.
you mean something like this (see below)?
Now you may have to implement code to check if the destination folder exists and to create it, etc. But if you use the Front Panel Control to select the destination folder, it should be okay.
Not the best implementation, mind you but you'll get the idea..

I recently had the genius bar change my imac hard drive because it crashed. For some reason Time Machine didn't back up some of my important files. Can I get my damaged hard drive back from the genius bar to see if I can access that info?
Unfortunately, that drive is long gone, probably back to the mfr. Drives are not returned when they are exchanged. You can go by and ask them, but the chances are slim to none.

How can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Hi,
In Oracle Applications, we are getting the following error while performing ROLLBACK to a Savepoint.
"Unexpected Error: ORA-01086: savepoint 'PTNR_BULK_CALC_TAX_PVT' never establishe d ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception"
So how can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Could you please also let me know if there is any better way to debug this issue.
Appreciate any quick response as the issue is very critical.

There is no way to get a list of active savepoints. Is this your code or a "canned" procedure? If it is your code you can go through the code looking for answers, possibly tracing execution using DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE or writing messages to a log table. If its a "canned" procedure you may need to open an SR with Oracle -
I try to log into my Apple ID and it says that it has sent an E-Mail to my Apple ID to vertify that it is me, I understand that but what I don't get is that I can't get onto my account to click open the E-Mail to vertify myself. Any Help?
This is on the Apple ID manage and create page, this has happened to three of my accounts and I seem to get to the same exact spot and it just contradicts itself and won't let me log on at all. I have hooked up two E-mail accounts to the Apple Account and Vertified the accounts through the E-Mails sent to the external E-Mails but it still doesn't let me get into my Apple E-Mail at all.I logged in changed the primary E-Mail address to a different one, vertified it then tried to log in it said either to send an E-Mail to veritify again or to do my security questions, so I choose to do the security questions and put in my Birthday like it asked and it said that it was wrong and I had to authenticate it to get in, why is it so hard to just set up a Apple ID really though!
So I tried the E-Mail to and it has not sent me an E-Mail then I tried to log in again and it has locked me out of my account so I try to recover my password and it gave me the same options to get my password back and both options are doing the same as before, it says I don't know my on birth date or it is wrong or needs authenticate it, then the E-Mail doesn't come through!
This is just stupid now. -
Lightroom opens fine initially, but when trying to open a different catalog it will go through the process but never reopen again. I can't get it to open at all until the computer is reset. I have been using Lightroom 4 for 18 months now and this problem just started happening in the last month.
No error messages. It acts totally normal but just never reopens when I try to reopen a new catalog. I create a catalog for each of my clients....I have done this since I started using lightroom as it seems tidy to me. But, I have never had this problem until now. I am using a pc and vista and Lightroom 4. Thanks.
