Can I get the time of track back on the mini player?

I listen to recorded radio shows. These last 1-5 hours. I like to use the mini player to do this and like to know where in the recording I am. Is there a way to restore the time display on the mini player in iTunes 11?

Write to Apple and ask for it back. The more people who ask, the better chance we have of getting it.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

Chrome uses a different and separate plug-in.
There are things about IE you need to know, especially 11. Specifically:
"User-Agent Strings"
That doesn't mean a lot, I'm sure, but it's the root of your problems, and Flash Player has nothing to do with it.
Microsoft "rewrote" the User-Agent Strings for the abomination they call their latest and greatest browser. User-Agent Strings are what websites use to identify the browser you're using and provide the proper content for it's browser engine, like ActiveX stuff, and Flash or HTML5 video. Thanks to the geniuses in Redmond, WA, the User-Agent Strings for IE11 (which has a Trident engine), ID it as either "Gecko" (Firefox) or "Webkit" (Chrome). Problem is: when the site the directs to the content for one of these two engines, the Trident engine in IE can't intepret it and the site then sees IE as an "unidentified" browser.
The problem with an unidentified browser is that the plug-ins in that browser aren't recognized either, so even though you're up to date, it says you need the latest Flash Player when you use IE11. YouTube... has converted to HTML5 video so if it doesn't detect Flash Player, it can display HTML5 (MP4) video which requires no plug-in to play. Facebook can't do that, because HTML5 doesn't apply to games... only video.
Microsoft has no plans to "fix" the mess they've created because they think it's a great idea to block you out of the websites you visit.
They recommend using "Compatibility View" and pretending that you're using an older verison of IE... Problem with that is that it's seen limited success, and you have to enable it for EVERY page that has problems... individually.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Opera (from Opera)
Safari (from Apple)
Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

How do i get the mini-player on my bottom right hand corner startbar

I used to be able to have the mini-player next to my system icon tray, right on the bottom right hand corner. Now, since re-formatting my computer because of a super-cool keylogger , it no longer works. Is this because of 6.0.4? Orrrr, am I just overlooking something small?

On the top-bar of iTunes, Under "advanced" click "switch to mini-player". That will automatically switch it to that size.
You can change it back to normal size mode by clicking the "maximize" symbol.
Of course, you can adjust the location of it on the screen at anytime by dragging its border (like any other program).

My hard drive crashed, but I've got Match. How can I get all 12,000 tracks back?

I decided to go totally digital at New Year's and bought an external hard drive for my laptop and copied 400+ CDs to it. I also moved over my existing iTunes library and purchases to this external drive. I then subscribed to iTunes Match and sent all 12,000+ tracks to the cloud/Match and so I had my iPhone and iPad running my entire library, in addition to my laptop with external drive, which was great. For a few months.
Then the other week, my external hard drive just totally crapped out. I had a technician look at it and he says it's toast.
When I get a new external hard drive, what's the easiest way to get all my music from the cloud/Match (sorry if I'm getting the lingo wrong) synched to this new hard drive? I've been searching for the answer to this forever with no joy.

The best way to get your music back is to restore it from the local backup you kept before the external HDD crashed. You might also find this Apple KB article helpful: Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store.
Alternatly, multiple tracks can be downloaded from iTM by highlighting the ones you want to download, right-clicking and selecting "download."

How can I get the iTunes player in the taskbar?

I've tried to find an answer to how I can do this in Windows 8 however there are no answers. I don't want the icon where I have to click and select what I want iTunes to do. I've done the thing where I add the toolbar to the taskbar and allowed iTunes to minimize to the tray but all this does is give me the icon. I want the player in the taskbar so I can just click play/pause and such. I've got the newest version of iTunes.

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

Ran Stellar defrag on a bootable CD. It was a (supposedly) successful defrag but the only way I could close the software was to manually shut down my mini. Now I can't get the mini to restart...it just spins until the stop icon comes on the screen?

Now the mini won't restart...it attempts to for several minutes & then the stop icon displays. I have tried holding down the option key during restart & selecting the hard drive but get the same results. The Stellar people tell me it is a Mac issue. Help!

Does it boot from the Restore Partition?
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

When I try to face time anyone it says connecting then stops and says they are unavailable for face time. I've also tried to answer calls and the same thing happens it says connecting then unavailable. I just got this iPad for Christmas so it shouldn't be acting up like this already. Please help?

facetime hasn't worked consistently since April 17th. Rumor going around that it's a way to force people to upgrade to iOS7, who previously wanted to stay with iOS6.

How do I get the mini-player to appear in the taskbar

I've had this running many times in the taskbar so when I minimize iTunes, it shows a little bar in the taskbar with pause, play, song, duration, etc. but each time I upgrade iTunes, I lose it and can't remember how to get it back. I recently had the genius bar change my imac hard drive because it crashed. For some reason Time Machine didn't back up some of my important files. Can I get my damaged hard drive back from the genius bar to see if I can access that info?

Unfortunately, that drive is long gone, probably back to the mfr. Drives are not returned when they are exchanged. You can go by and ask them, but the chances are slim to none.

You can, but how are you going to back up those other files? When (not if) your Time Capsule fails, you risk losing them. See #Q3 in Using Time Machine with a Time Capsule for details.

Not sure what you mean. You have to connect a computer, either via Ethernet cable or wirelessly, to read or write to the disk.
