No, there is no way to upgrade the display resolution (or any other physical factor) of an iPad.

I've tried to follow instructions I found on the web but no Joy.
    What's up!

Maybe your localstore.rdf are corrupted, try rename or delete it, first go to your profile, close Firefox, delete or rename the localstore.rdf file then restart Firefox, maybe you need unhide the hidden files and folders!

Also try go to '''View''' >> '''Toolbars''' >> '''Customize''' in this window look to your bookmark toolbar, if you find it just drag and drop it and put where you want.

  • How can I get Bookmarks Toolbar to go from the bottom of list to top?

Just reinstalled 27 after a crash of my PC. I imported my bookmarks from my HTML, but can't get the Bookmarks Toolbar to go back to the top of the list of bookmarks, above Bookmarks Menu.
Also, how do I get the bookmarks from my Bookmarks Toolbar folder to display at the top of my screen again? Thank you!-Liz

Your reply didn't answer my question, Deb, but it did give me some other info I needed. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

  • How can I get rid of my messed up browser look and download Safari original look again in simple terms please.

I loved Safari and was using it getting to know it...then messed it up now the only thing that shows when I open it is some bookmarks.. I cannot acccess the safari icon logo...or drop down boxes to change anything...and I cannot open more than one page at a time. I like Safari as when it first was downloaded so I removed it. I reinstalled from the web but the new one shows up the same as the old one I removed.
How can I get the old gone for good so I can have the original Safari download windows 7 64 bit...thank you... yakay

  • How can I get all Websites to recognize Safari browser?

It's very frustrating to enter a website and it only recognizes microsoft window browser, I purchased this mac so I didn' have to deal with microsoft any longer or very little now I can't open my own companys web site. How can I get this to work? I'm not a computer wiz just love my mac!

Unfortunately you can't always do this, since some websites rely on a particular IE bug or weirdness, or use proprietary coding such as that horrid mess known as ActiveX. Sometimes though, the developer just throws in some generic code that checks for IE, even though they don't necessarily need it. In that case, you can enable Safari's Debug Menu and change the User Agent, which will make Safari look like another browser. To enable the debug menu, open a Terminal window and type the following line:
    defaults write com.apple.safari IncludeDebugMenu 1

  • Can't get Firefox to not remember my browsing history.

My Firefox browser settings (under tools and options) are that it should never remember my browsing history.
Nevertheless, every time I open Firefox (even after the browser has been closed and the computer shut down) and open a new tab, there is a grid of tiles showing sites that I have previously visited. Also, if I click on history I can see my browsing history.
If I go to options and clear history, these things disappear. But after a period of browsing, they are back, even with the setting "never remember history."
How can I get Firefox to respect this setting and not remember my browsing history?
(I have tried creating a new profile, but this hasn't changed anything.)
    Thanks for any advice,
    Matthew

You can set another page as the new tab page by modifying the browser.newtab.url pref om the <b>about:config</b> page.
See this article about the New Tab page (about:newtab):
Do you have any software installed on your computer like Advanced SystemCare that might be causing this?

  • If you view Firefox in full screen can you get favourite toolbar to appear with the address bar?

When you put Firefox in full screen all the toolbars disappear. When you hover over the top of the screen the address bar and 'open tabs' bar appear. Is it possible to get the favourites toolbar to appear as well?
If not is there any other way to access favourites without having to close Firefox?

You can also toggle that setting if you hover the mouse to the top and right click a toolbar to open the toolbar context menu: Hide Toolbars.
That won't show the bookmarks toolbar AFAIK even if it is selected. You can access the bookmarks via the Bookmarks menu button if you place that button on a visible Navigation Toolbar or Tab bar.
Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line to make the Bookmarks toolbar visible in full screen mode.

  • How can I get my toolbar back to its former condition. After it was "fixed", my tool bar is changed....I would like the 3 coloured buttons to be on all the time as well as the search window.

I need help to restore my toolbar...Right now I have to  put the curser up to the top so I can get the minimize arrows in order to get the coloured buttons. I would like to always see the 3 coloured buttons as well as the search window

the 3 colored buttons should still be there unless you're in full screen mode, hit the esc key on your keyboard in the top left side of it. now what do you mean your search window? if you only have one bar at the top, if you're running lion, that's normal with the new update the one bar is now your address bar and google search bar all in one/

  • I can't get any toolbars back(I don't have adress, Getting started, or File edit view ect)

Ok on my brothers account, he has no adress bar, the file edit veiw, or the Getting started/Google thing. The only thing he has is the new tabs area. He can't fix this in any right clicking of the screen, as far as we see. He doesn't want to delete the account because it has all of his iTunes songs and a lot of them were off CD's. Any way to fix it? We tried uninstalling and installing it again, but it didn't work, even if i ticked the box.

Press ''ALT'' then press '''V T M''' then go to View--Toolbars and select '''Navigation Bar''' and also '''Bookmarks Toolbar'''

  • I can't get zynga toolbar to display with firefox. Works OK with IE

Unable to install zynga toolbar when using mozilla/firefox. Was able to use it fine until my husband uninstalled a defective Kodak ESP9 printer and installed a new one in it's place a little over a week ago. Toolbar seems to work fine with Internet Explorer but not Firefox.
Any hints or help out there?

If you think it is an add on you can troubleshoot in Safe Mode
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings and disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
''(If you're using an added theme, switch to the Default theme.)''
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu by clicking on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item:<br>
    [[Image:FirefoxSafeMode|width=520]]<br><br>
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
    * On Windows: Hold the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * On Mac: Hold the '''option''' key while starting Firefox.
    * On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run ''firefox -safe-mode'' <br>(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]] article to find the cause.
''To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.

  • How Can I Get My Toolbars Back?

This is really a strange problem.  The tool bar with Edit, File, etc....that goes across the top is there, but dark and the icons are not visible.  It is black and if I click along there the icons show but all the options under each one is grayed out.  I don't know when this happened; I think they have been gone for a couple of days but I just realized it.  When I clicked where the tool bar is the View icon lighted up but, again, it is all grayed out so I cannot select "Show Toolbar."
I know this isn't very clear....I have never seen anything like it before.  I have iMac and have installed Mavericks.   Can you help?

  • I still can't get Norton Toolbar to enable in firefox 21.0

I've followed all of the available processes and have run LiveUpdate dozens of times and the toolbar still says it's incompatible with this version of Firefox and won't let me enable it.

hello skyflight9, after running norton liveupdate you should get [https://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-20-amp-Google-Chrome-26-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/937023 version 2013.3.4.3 of the toolbar] which is compatible with current browser versions - your system details show that you're still having norton toolbar 2013.3.3.19 installed though. if running liveupdate repeatedly doesn't work for you and you cannot obtain the latest version onto your computer this way, please contact norton's support in order to get their product working.
