CAn I go back to iCloud 5.1.1 from iCloud 6

No, you can't go back.
But you have to check here: Settings > Messages > Send and receive.
Also check settings at the other iDivice's. These should NOT be the same.

  • HT201317 My phone was stolen and I lost all my photos. Is there any way I can get them back through iCloud as there were lots over 30 days old?

My iPhone was stolen and I have lost all my photos as some were over 30 days old. Is there anyway I can get these back as they were on iCloud originally but i didn't put them onto my pc! :o( please can somebody help me get these back.

Unfortunately iCloud only stores photos for 30 days, to give all your devices a chance to download them. After this period they are deleted from Photo Stream and can not be retrieved.

  • Can I revert back to old version of itunes from version 12

I use itunes version 12 and have a nano 7th generation.  I recently upgraded my itunes to version 12 and have to say I don't like it.  Can I revert back to earlier version and how do I know what version I used previously?
The main reason I would like to revert back is that I have encountered a problem that I never had previously with itunes.  Upon purchasing a song, when I try to copy it to my ipod I am getting the following error message :
"(song name) wasn't copied to ipod because it is only available in icloud".   Since when did I do that?
When I attempt to download from icloud I get the following error message "There was a problem downloading.  You do not have enough access privileges for this operation".
What can I do now ??  Can I revert back and will this sort the problem?
    Many thanks

The skin may never be made compatible.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

  • I upgraded from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 6.  Everything converted fine until I deleted an app in error.  When I downloaded it from iTunes, my account is no longer recognized by the app's host servers.  Can I go back and re-sync one app from my old phone?

I upgraded from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 6.  Everything converted fine.  Yesterday I deleted an app in error.  When I downloaded the software it from iTunes ( did this many times on the old 3GS), my account is no longer recognized by the app's host servers (Playtika), even though it did after the initial conversion.  Can I go back and re-sync just one app from my old phone?

Try deleting what is called the iPod Photo Cache.

  • How can I get back all of my family videos from the iTunes monster?

    So here's the thing.
Over the past few years I have accumulated a whole heap of home videos as well as movies, TV episodes etc. etc. which has grown and grown to the point where there was no more space on my 60GB hard drive.
So I go out and buy an 80GB video iPod so that I can store the videos on that.
I go through the extremely lengthy (3 days) and frustrating process of converting all my files to mp4 using Videora converter and load them onto iTunes and then onto my new iPod. I then click 'Manually manage songs' in my iPod options so that I could delete the videos from my computer, and have them still on my iPod. This was about a week ago and since then everything has been fine.
When updating my iPod this morning, I manually ejected the ipod once my new music was added, only to find that the ipod now contained NO VIDEOS! As it turns out, the iPod automaticaaly reverted to 'automatcally manage files' without my prompt.
So now whilst I have the files on iTunes, they cannot be found as they have been deleted and they are no longer on my iPod. Is there ANY way that I can get them back? Anything at all? System restore or something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Dell Inspiron 8600   Windows XP

if you mean restore an backup from an earlier iphone then it ask you or you can manually choose restore
if you mean apps located in your itunes library then you check the apps you want on the iphoen in the apps tab when you have it connected to computers itunes

  • Can't get back to OS 10.4.9 from OS 9.0.4

    Hi,
Just bought/installed 10.4 and upgraded to 10.4.9. Everything works great; BUT, I used startup disk to select old OS 9.0.4 system folder to boot from and now i CAN'T get back to 10.4.9. Booting w/ OPTION won't give me the option, and OS support pages suggesting going to the Start-up Disk folder don't help since control panel only give me choice between MAC HD and Network driver. Do I really have to go buy an OLD OS like 9.1 or 9.2 to upgrade to? Apple should help with this...
    thanx much for info......

    Hi, Devils Coup -
Do I really have to go buy an OLD OS like 9.1 or 9.2 to upgrade to?
    No.
    Apple should help with this...
    They do.
The version of Startup Disk control panel that comes with original OS 9.1 and earlier installs was not coded to be able to recognize OSX as a valid boot OS, probably because OSX did not yet exist when those OS's were written.
There are four solutions in order to get back to OSX from your OS 9.0.4, with both OS's on the same, unpartitioned drive -
    (1) Update the OS to OS 9.2.1, using first the download updater for OS 9.1 and then the one for OS 9.2.1, or by using a retail OS 9.2.1 Install CD. This may not be satisfactory.
    (2) Boot from an OSX Install CD, and use its Startup Disk control pane to reset the boot OS to OSX on the hard drive. This is often not a convenient solution.
    (3) Upon booting or restarting, as soon as the startup chies sound press the X key, keep it held down until the machine starts to boot to OSX. This is perhaps the easiest, no-install required choice.
    (4) Update just the Startup Disk control panel in OS 9.0.4 to v. 9.2.1 (that's the version number for the control panel). This is the simplest long-term solution, one which leaves your OS 9.0.4 otherwise untouched. You can download just that control panel from this Apple KBase document -
Startup Disk 9.2.1 Document and Software
    <hr>
Do I really have to go buy an OLD OS like 9.1 or 9.2...
No, but if you intend to keep OS 9 available on that machine for a while, it would serve you well to get a copy of the retail OS 9.1 Install CD or the retail OS 9.2.1 Install CD. Both of those contain current (for OS 9) versions of Drive Setup and Disk First Aid, hence serve as excelent emergency and trouble-shooting CDs.
Booting w/ OPTION won't give me the option....
One of the reasons for partitioning a drive so that OS 9 and OSX can be installed each on its own volume is to be able to use Startup Manager to select the boot volume at startup. Startup Disk is able to recognize only one OS per volume, specifically the last one booted to on that volume. So, if both OS's are on the same volume, only the one last booted to will appear in Startup Manager's screen. By partitioning the drives and placing each OS on its own volume, either can be accessed at any time in Startup Manager.

  • How can I revert back to iPhoto in OS yosemite from photo app??

I updated 10.10.3 in OS X yosemite today and made the biggest mistake of my life. How can I get back to my iPhoto ? I do not like the new photo app. HELP

What do you mean by" ...But you can drag them to the other."? Can I take the photo stream imports from Photos and put them in iPhoto?
I hate "Photos" so much...for one, I want to clean out my photo stream folder after I drag the photos to their respective events, but then that deletes the photo altogether...it doesn't save what I've drug to the event. (I hope that made some sort of sense.) iPhoto was very organized for me...its chaos in Photos because now I have to make sure I have each photo in the right folder without accidentally deleting them. Plus, there's a time limit before the photos are automatically deleted...unlike the trash bin in iPhoto.

On some magazine apps in newsstand, I can't exit out of the issue after reading it and get back to the app's navigation page. Others have a menu that comes up when you tap the screen with an issue open, but not others. Even turning the iPad off doesn't reset. I'm sure it's a simple user-error issue, but what am I missing?

Tap the center of the screen until you see the bar appear on top of the screen (like in the first screenshot on that link). Then tap the home icon.

I just finished updating to 10.3.1 and I was shocked when I saw that the free internet radio choices were no longer part of the menu.
Is there some way to change 10.3.1 back to 10.1.2? And if I do , will the radio stations still be part of the program?.........

    Edit > Preferences > General.
    Check the Radio option.
