Can I go back to version 5.5 ?

I installed the Lightroom 5.6 update on August 1st and there are some things that don't work properly (or as they used to).
Examples are:
If copy any settings and try to paste, sometimes they will transfer, other times they won't.
Likewise, sometimes Paste shows in History, sometimes it doesn't.
The navigator preview now shows a distorted image of different crops when moving through/over history.
There is now a flickering and slight jumping of the mouse pointer when using the brush tool (as it is updating history?)
** I'd like to know if there are any pitfalls if I install the previous version which I still have in "downloads" **
Also, has anyone else experienced problems with version 5.6 ?
Note. Just cloned something out and it seemed not have fully disappeared, no matter what I did (moving target & result, whitening/bleaching out etc) so I opened it in Photoshop CC and it had actually completely gone, so I therefore assume that it is a fault with LR 5.6

8 gig of ram
GeForce 8800 GTX Driver version 337.88
Network storage

If this is the perpetual-license standalone version, you should have no problems installing LR 5.5.
I don't know if you can do that with the Creative Cloud version, I'm someone else will know.

If you follow the instructions I gave it does not delete the profile folder where the user data such as bookmarks are stored. When you install the earlier version it will use the same profile data so you do not lose your user data.

You kinda have that backwards, Roboform needs to support Firefox. If you upgrade to Roboform version 7, you'll have Roboform working in Firefox 4.0.1.

How can I revert back to version 5.1 from 6.1. Bluetooth support told me that version 6.1 is not supported. I highly doubt it. My voice recognition reconizes " Call my wife command".

I just bought a new car. Hyundia Hybrid. My bluetooth is not Reconizing my command to call a contact. I've been back to the dealer and no luck. When speaking to Bluetooth support directly he doesn't see Version 6.1. and suggested going back to Version 5.1 which is documented to be compatable with my Iphone 4s.

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. When the installation finishes, don't let the install start firefox for you. Instead end the install and start Firefox in your normal manner, thus preventing creating a new profile which does not have your bookmarks cookies, etc (but your old profile would still be around and would).

When 4.0 came out a few weeks ago, I updated. I was unhappy that I lost a couple plugins that wouldn't work. Then I got the message yesterday to update immediately to 5.0. Since 5.0 came out so quickly, I figured it was something I should do on this one computer. My other 3 computers are still running 3.6 with all my plug-ins and addons working. Firefox 4.0 was released in March, over 3 months ago. If you have some add-ons that haven't been updated yet for Firefox 4.0, much less for Firefox 5.0, it is time for you to find similar replacements for those add-ons. IMHO, extensions like that should be considered as "abandoned" by their developer.

I've always been able to minimize all my windows by double clicking the title bar. Yes, I could click the yellow button -- I just want the old feature back because I do it so automatically. Now when I double click the title bar it opens a new tab. I was able to do this with all the previous versions of Firefox as well.

Firefox 5 is installed. It won't open. I tried to uninstall and it says close the program. I don't know how to do this since it isn't open. Can I go back to version 4?

The program was installed on Friday morning though it didn't happen fast and I forgot and left the computer running when I went to work. This happened to be the day that my internet connection was cutoff because I was switching from cnet to Qwest as my ISP. (Still don't know why they did this, but Qwest helped me reset the modem and I can use Internet explorer.)

You probably have other problems but for a start right click on your task bar and click on Start Task Manager. In "Applications" if Firefox is shown, click on "End Task". In "Processes" if Firefox.exe is shown, click on "End Process" and ignore the warning and click"End Process" again. Wait for a few seconds then start Firefox in the usual way. There is a chance that this may solve your problems.
If not, you probably will need to do a complete uninstall and re-install. If you can't start Firefox you could try starting in Safe Mode - Hold down Shift key as you double click on the Firefox icon>ignore the page that opens>and Continue. If you've been able to open Firefox you could work through this Troubleshooting Procedure -

With all the complaints here I wonder if there is an issue with the latest update.
I have not updated yet and looks like I will wait. Besides Wi-Fi music downloads I don't see a benifit to latest update.
But I am curious as to possibilities of go back to last version. Apple is taking of the use of history on the new OS which will let you recover and seems to let you go back versions.

You cannot go back to 1.0.2 without voiding your warranty. Apple does not have a downgrade path available to consumers. The downgrade path on the mod forums is a hack that partially downgrades. Your warranty and support will be unavailable from Apple if ou do this. 1.1.1 is not a big problem if you don't hack your iPhone.

I found my playlists. They were never removed. It appears that iTunes 11 shows them in a different place. Which is kind of annoying. Even more annoying trying to add purchased songs to the playlists on your iPod.
- Click on the iPod button on the top right of your screen (beside the iTunes Store button)
- Click Playlists along the middle of the top of the iTunes window
There are the playlists from your iPod
Kind of frustrating to add the songs, but the way I did it is:
- Click on the song you want to add to your iPod playlist from your iTunes library
- Click the arrow beside the song and select "Add to Up Next"
- Go to your iPod playlists as per the above instructions
- Click on the list icon in the same bar as the Apple icon on the top of the window (it is to the right of the apple icon)
- Now drag that song to the playlist(s) on your iPod
I am sure there is a much simpiler way....I just dont have time to figure it out right now. If anyone has any simpiler way of doing this, please reply!!
