Yup, My MacAir (late 2010) Snow Leopard 10.6.8, is starting to get bogged down a bit with data on my drive and I'm receiving notifications that the Start menu? is nearing capacity and I need to start deleting files. So, I don't want to hassle with it myself, I'd much rather pay someone to do it for me and hopefully do it Right...
What would be the charges $$$??? and from what I need to have done? A complete uninstall and install of Mavericks, or delete files from my disc or whatever? I dunno which or what is Best?
I know, confused and all over the place. This is why I'm asking...

After you backup your files.
Reboot in safe mode (shift key down) Do not start any programs. From the finder you will want to search for name Cache - From the Kind Button click and pull down to Other - type SYS the works Sytem Files should apper or be very close add System Files to the menu (check box).
So you will
search for Name matches Cache, click + Kind is Folder click +. Kind->System Files Included. you will see a list of folders
Click the first one, hold shift down and scroll to click the last in the list. Command-I will (eventually) tell you how many GB of space they occupy (just for your information).
Comand-Delete will put them all in the trash.
Command-Shift-Delte will Empty the trash
Restart normally. Do Not Start any Programs.
Now go through iTunes, iPhoto and delte unwanted media.
Once you have near 10% free space you can go to Apple for more help

The Apple Store would not accept parts from somewhere else even if they did repair rather than replace iPods. If you don't want to pay Apple's out-of-warranty exchange pricing, you'll either need to find an independent iPod repair service to perform the repair (and all of those will probably want to provide the parts themselves) or do the repair on your own.

I stupidly tried opening up my iPhone 5s to clean the rear camera a few weeks ago. In doing so I tore one of the cables on the display and it stopped working, as did the home button. I had to take it to a local shop where I was charged £100 for the screen repair and a new home button (I was told that the fingerprint scanner would no longer work).
Long story short, I took the phone back the next day because I couldn't hear anything through the earpiece, but the speaker was working. The guy did something to do my phone and fixed it temporarily, now about 3 weeks later it still isn't working.
I would take it back to the same shop and complain, but I will probably get the same shoddy service. I really regret not taking it to the apple store in the first place as it probably wouldn't have been much more expensive. What are my options?

Since everything you did voided your warranty, Apple will at best charge you the out of warranty replacement fee, and offer you a refurbished iPhone of same specs as your own.
You'll need to take it in and discuss your options with them directly if they wish to offer you any.

Yes, if you purchased it in an Apple store, they should be able to assist you. Bring your MBP with you as well as the Drive.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.

I think that would be super useful before you go to an event, create a folder on the phone for that event and just use it to take pictures. All the pictures for the event will be in that album and no need to move pics around at a later time!

That would be great, but unfortunately, all new pictures automatically go into the Camera Roll.
I wish that once you created an album and selected it to import from the Camera Roll, it would delete from the Camera Roll.

I find that the easiest way to change the account you are using on your mobile device is to scroll down to the bottom of the iTunes Store or App Store on the device and tap the Apple ID button. Then:
- To sign out, or to sign in to a different account, tap the Sign Out button.
- To sign back in, tap the Sign In button, then tap either Use Existing Apple ID or Create New Apple ID, and follow the on-screen instructions from there. I hope this helps.
