Can I go to iCloud and see my photos

can I go to iCloud and see my photos and if so, how do I do it on an iMac?

No.  The online iCloud does not include the Photo Share feature of iCloud.  You'll need to do it from a Mac that is running 10.7.5 or later and iPhoto 9.2.2 or later.
This Apple documents shows the requirements: iCloud: System requirements.
In iPhoto set the iCloud sharing preference to the following
and then you'll be able to view the photos in the Photo Stream taken by your iPhone or iPad and import them into your iPhoto library for permanent storage.

  • HT4859 How do I log into icloud and see what is on it?

I can't log into icloud and see what I have on it

Go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into your iCloud account.  (You can't do this on your iPad.)

  • Can I just stop iCloud and go back to manually syncing?

How can I get out of iCloud.  Have had nothing but trouble.  Can I just stop iCloud and go back to manually syncing?

Yes you can stop iCloud and go back syncing manually. You can disable the whole iCloud account, or simply stopp iCloud for a certain app.

What happens if you use the Share button and select Mail?
What happens when you try? I had to hold there photo there for a short period before it would load.

  • I have paid and downloaded LION and want to update my IMAC, can i just run install and it keep photos settings etc from Snow Leopard or is a full reinstall with wiped hard drive, anyone have any experience of this and do i need to run a backup beforehand?

Always backup your important data before upgrading to a new Mac OS X.
Lion doesn't erase the drive but better to be safe than sorry.
And run Disk Utility  (Applications/Utilities). Verify and if necessary repair the startup disk before upgrading.

Can I change the moments and time for photos?

By editing the EXIF data. You'd need an EXIF editor for this...if using Windows, you can use Windows Exploroer. To do so on your phone, you need an app, like this:

  • HT204053 How can I login to icloud and retrieve photos and contacts?

I am not sure if I understand icloud. If we backup and have storage shouldn't we
be able to look into the storage to retrieve items?  Help?
    Sunshinedays99

    iCloud does two things independently.
    1) Syncs data (contacts, calendars, tasks, bookmarks etc.) between the iCloud servers and your devices and computers setup with iCloud. Most of this data you can log-in at icloud.com and look at, edit or whatever.
    2) iOS device backups, which you can use to restore your data to a new iOS device or a newly restored device. You can't see this data, as it is only used for device the backup and restore process. Nor can individual items be restored.

  • HT204053 can i acess my icloud to see whats being stored ?

can i access my icloud account to see whats being stored ?

    Hello real humper,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For more information on this, take a look at:
iCloud: iCloud storage and backup overview
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12519?viewlocale=en_US
    Here’s what iCloud backs up:
Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and booksYour iCloud backup includes information about the content you have purchased, but not the purchased content itself. When you restore from an iCloud backup, your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore based on iTunes in the Cloud availability by country. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the store.
Photos and videos in your Camera Roll
    Device settings
    App data
    Home screen and app organization
iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages
    Ringtones
    Visual Voicemail
Your iOS device backup only includes data and settings stored on your device. It doesn't include data already stored in iCloud, for example contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo streams, and documents you save in iCloud using iOS apps and Mac apps.
    Best of luck,
    Mario

  • I have an iPad, iPhone and PC. I am trying to move my pictures on my PC to photostream so they can be uploaded to icloud- and the instructions from Apple are useless...

    Please see question above

    Had you activated Photo Stream?

iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486 - "With Photo Stream, when you take photos on an iOS device or import photos from your digital camera to your computer, your new photos will be automatically uploaded to iCloud and pushed to all your other devices. You can also view the photos in your Photo Stream with Apple TV."

  • Where in Apple can you get answers as to why one can't consistently access icloud and when you can you can't access contacts or notes etc?

One computer, can't sign into ICloud "encountered an error trying to connect to server".  On the other computer left myself signed in and now can't access contacts or notes: "Can't load Contacts/Notes as there was a problem loading the application".  This has been going on for about 3 weeks.  What is up and what is being done about it?

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.
    Regards.

  • How can I unlink my iCloud and apple IDs?

When i signed up for an iCloud account, i linked it to my apply ID. Now, knowing that I can't make the iCloud my primary email, I want to separate the two. Unfortunately, I havent had any luck. Every time that I remove the email, and try to log into the iCloud one as a separate account, it simply logs me back into the original Apple ID, even though there is no 'secondary email' filled in. Eventually, the iCloud email appears again as the 'secondary' email, which is SO FRUSTRATING! I cant separate them as much as I've tried! Please help me!!

If I'm understanding you correctly, you created an iCloud account with an AppleID (like, [email protected]). Then, once you did that, you created an iCloud e-mail address - and you are trying to separate this part of your account into its own iCloud account. Sadly, this is not possible. That e-mail address is eternally linked up to your other AppleID. No need in creating a separate AppleID just to keep those separated, it would just overcomplicate things for you - especially if you've made iTunes Store purchases with the AppleID in question, as you can't transfer purchases or merge accounts. Hope this information helps. If not, let us all know.

  • Can't turn off iCloud and F'd up my Calendar

I have an iPhone with my Work calendar Synced with my work computer (outlook Calendar). Also, I have iMac 27" i5 with my Home calendar (iCal).   This has worked fine and separetly for the last 3years.  My home calenders allow me to organise my life with payments and is very important. My work calendar, well that speaks for it's self.
I install iOS5 on iPhone and Lion on the iMac which unbekownence to me have iCloud syncing on and doing stuff that has totally corupted my iMac Home Calendar.
My home calendar has my work calander mixed in with my home calendar and reminders popup every few minutes that I have already dissmissed.  They won't stop popping up.  The same one over and over and they go back a month or more.
Additionally, when I try to add an event it sometimes puts it in very day instead of a monthly re-ocurring event and then it won't delete the event when I try to fix it.
I've tried to turn off iCloud, and it does all the right things and appears to turn off but then when I go back in it is on again.
The Work Calendar (Windows 7 Office 2010) doesn't show any symptoms and has kept working as it should on my work computer as on the iPhone. Neither appear to be effected
I've tried all the delete files and reinsralls but iCal seems to just get more confused. It renames calendars and is totally out of control to the point of no return.
I can't find any where which shows how to delete iCal and do a fresh install of iCal and not have iCloud sync.   I have searched Google for months and months with no joy.
What I need is to stop iCloud and **** it off permently as it appears to be a problem for how I use my apps.  I do not want to use iCloud for calander or anything just yet.   I need to get my original .ics backup in iCal that I have and working on it's own and with out the cloud or syncing.
    Help anyone ...
P.S.   I have only one profile, Admin.
I've tried another profile and it replicates and operated worse than the Admin account with iCal.
Also I have time machine back to August 2011.  I've tried all the Google fixes and none have worked

    Hmmm!
Sorry for taking so long to get back.  But the thing was none of the instruction where able to get the iCloud turned off. If anything it is for someone who moves between the Local and the iCloud than turnng off iCloud.
I want to turn off iCloud syncing in my System Preference and iCal.  iCal is syncing with iCloud and I do not want that.  My iPhone is syncing with iCloud and I don't want that either. I never enabled these options and had to find out where they were before I could even start trying to turning them off.
My iPads do not I’m unsure why
Is it possible to un-sync and turn off all iCloud activities on my iMac with Lion 10.7.3?
I think I made up a word (Un-Sync) to re-turn back to the original state before the first sync

  • Can i turn off icloud and get my contacts back?

just upgraded the operating system, and inadvertantly selected icloud.  dont want it.  all my contacts are gone from my phone.  Can I turn it off, and get them back?

Unfortunately, no.  This only stops your contacts syncing with iCloud; it won't restore them to your phone if they're gone.  Unless you backed them up somewhere, you'll have to recreate them.
