Can I have a acoount in both Canadian and american stores
I want to buy a song that is avaliable in the itunes Canadian store and not the American store. Can I have n account in both the American and Canadian itunesstores.
No. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.
E.g., "The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance. - http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html#SERVICE"

You can use the same Apple ID for both phones, you would then be able to use the purchased Apps/Content on both phones without having to pay again.

My boyfriend and I have each an IPhone with two different Apple IDs. Since the recent software his contacts appears in my Iphone. How can I switch that off? I have be looking at both Iphones and Iclouds.
All apps and purchases are linked to your apple ID, so you can't share them across 2 devices that are using different apple id's, it won't work. the purchases that are on your mac at the moment will only work with the apple id they were brought with.
the only thing thats possible to share is purchased music. you have to first covert it to mp3 within itunes, then your bf can import it into his own itunes library and sync with his phone. -

IPSec VPN brings up login box but will not connect after entering password. Have tried this on both IPAD and IPhone 4. Can anyone help?
Uggh, it's so frustrating! I've googled every search phrase I can think of and this seems to be the only thread describing this exact issue. I'm always automatically logged into Facebook on my MBP but just to be sure I logged out and back in and it worked fine.
I gotta say, I wasn't a fan of the Droid I had preceding this iPhone, and from what I hear the iPhone app for FB is a thousand times better - not that I'd know personally because I can't log in!! - but I could always access my FB account on the droid. Just sayin... -
I am a student and want to use indesign, illustrator och photo shop. What subscription do I need?
Also, I have two computers, can I have the programs om both of them?
One of the compusters is at my internship workplace and I will only be here for 3 more months, after that I want to be able to use the programs on my own computer.
Thanks!
KarinOkey, so there is no licens system which only allows use on one computer at the same time?
Say that I want to keep working on something from work on my home computer, then that's no problem?
Thanks! -
I am unable to sync all contact in my address book on my imac with my ipad mini, it looks like only icloud & yahoo contact sync leaving out the ones in outlook for mac. I have enabled icloud on both devices and ticked all the boxes.
Clive Owen wrote:
Thanks for that, but my Outlook contacts are synced to and all in my mac contacts book, does this not meen they would go to icloud,
No, they are in the On My Mac account in the Mac Contacts app, not iCloud.
or are they in a different format despite being in mac contacts? If so can the outlook contacts be exported in some other way to icloud?
Outlook is not compatible with iCloud, check Microsofts site if you need more verification.
If you want them in iCloud use Mac Contacts and move them from On My Mac to iCloud. This will remove them from Outlook. -
I have on my MacBook both iPhoto and Aperture and want to purchase iPhoto for iPad. If I do so, will I be able to see all my MacBook iPhoto progress (places, faces, events, etc) on the iPad app ? Via icloud or some other feature tht work like PhotoStream?
If I do so, will I be able to see all my MacBook iPhoto progress (places, faces, events, etc) on the iPad app ?
just some notes in addition to Ralphs answer: Your iPad is very useful to browse and show off your photos, i.e. the Retina iPad. You can sync to the iPad via iTunes or using the Photo Stream or a shared Photo Stream. But if you can browse and store all your photos on the iPad, will depend on the available storage on your iPad. Using iTunes you can sync events, albums, faces stacks, places stacks to your iPad. Not many metadata tags will transfer however.
See the iPhoto help on what iPhoto can actually do:

how do I share movies/music between my computers. I have opened shared on both computers and both are on, but i am not able to drag anything from one to the other. Does anyone know where the settings button is on the bottom of the itunes screen?
Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)
What am I doing wrong ? -
Can a MacBook (Early 2008) Support both sound and video to 1080p HDTV by Mini-DVI to HDMI cable?
The mini dvi on the MacBook will only support video, in order to get audio you'll need to a cable from the sound out port to the sound in port on the TV.

You can use one ID for the iTunes store account where you buy music, and another for an iCloud account.

can you have different accounts (meaning different passwords, different countries/store) with the same apple ID (only one e-mail address)?
thank you for your reply, it is not very fair from apple, since for not using your credit card, you need to create a new account and if you do not have multiple e-mail working , you are stuck! thanks anyway
