Can I have an iphone 4 and iphone 4s on the same itunes account?
I have my husbands old i phone 4 and he has upgraded to the 4s, but the itunes account was created under my name for both phones. I just wanted to ensure that I don't lose my contacts again.

Many thanks for the reply; so to explain to this bear with little brain!!! If I just plug and sync into itunes without touching anything, my contacts will stay on the phone, and not revert back to my husbands contacts?
This was what happened when he received his new phone,
All was fine and dandy when we plugged his new phone in to itunes and registered his phone, but when I plugged his old phone in to itunes for me to customize to my liking and add the few apps and move things around, pop up boxes kept appearing and I just said to yes to all, as I am very new to this, not realizing what any of it really means.
The next day I went to use my phone to call someone, and I had found that all the contacts had disappeared.....I was not a happy bunny, so I plugged into itunes and the only contacts that reappeared were my husbands old list of contact.
I went into town to the Orange shop and they managed to transfer my contacts from my old sim on to the iphone, again....but the man in the shop said to stop it happening again, I have to open another itunes account, something I do not wish to do.
Is the Orange shop assistant correct?

You can activate up to 10 devices with the same Apple ID.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

Yes, of course - that's the whole point, to provide syncing of data such as calendars, contacts and email between computers and iOS devices. Having got iCloud up and running on one computer, simply sign all other devices in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud with the same login. (Lion 10.7.2 and iOS5 are the minimum requirements.)

No - you can share the same iTunes account (my wife and I share the same account). But when you sync the iPads, just remember to select the correct content for her iPad and the correct content for your iPad. -

Rentals are one-time only downloads, they will not show on other devices/computers for redownloading.

I have an iPhone (16GB) and and Ipod nano (4GB) and about 9GB of content in my iTUnes. IS it possible to sync both these to the same iTunes library on the same pc. Yes. On my iPhone I currently have my Exchange account via ActiveSync, as well as my MobileMe account. In addition to email, I can also see my MobileMe Home and Work calendars, along with my various Exchange calendar folders, either separately or merged (with color-coded dot to let me know which one came from which account).

I have one itunes account with mulitple libraries for each device (one iphone, 4 ipods). The one iphone is connected via the cloud. everytime a new song or app is added to the account it is placed in all of the libraries. I want to add another iphone to the acccount when I tried it replaced the contacts with the contacts on the iphone already on the account. I have home share turned on and have a desktop for the main acct and a laptop and an I-phone. I purchased music on my Iphone and can't figure out how to get it onto move the desktop or laptop.
