Can I have and use alternately, 2 browsers on my computer or can I only have and use one?
I have Internet explorer and am thinking of changing it to something else, but do not want to delete it before I test out other browsers. Can I add another browser to my computer to test while I also keep and use Internet explorer?

The password for your Apple ID and iCloud are the same if you signed up for iCloud with your Apple ID. Are you sure that you already signed up for iCloud? See also: "How do I sign up for iCloud?" http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4436

It's a trust issue. You can set them up so you don't receive each other's messages as long as you each have your own email address.
The trust issue is the fact that either of you can change the separation at any time via Settings by checking the appropriate (inappropriate?) email address.
To be absolutely sure you can never receive each other's messages will require two Apple IDs. -
Every time Firefox has an available update, I get a message that indicates that it can't be installed because I have "insufficient privileges." There are two userIDs on the computer (a MAC running MAC OS 10.4.11), and both userIDs have "administrator" privileges, which means updates and other changes should be permitted from either userID. I find I have to log into the other userID and update Firefox there, and then it shows the update on my userID. Is there a way to change settings to enable updating from either userID, or at least to change which userID updates are permitted from, since my userID is the primary one used? Thanks.

We have purchased 5 apple minis and would like them all on one account, that way we can monitor the use of these units. They will be used strickly for a business application. Can I use one account in itunes or must i have multiple.

When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. -

Yes. The important thing to remember is that the "extending" Time Capsule must be located where it can receive a strong wireless signal from your "main" Time Capsule. -
I have been using one apple ID for my family as it makes it easier to manage itunes purchases/rentals on all of our devices. Now that my kids are getting old and my wife has recently purchased an Iphone, I can see that I need to change my strategy. I plan to add a few more iphones to the family very soon. What is your recommendation to manage all of our devices (iphones, itouch, apple tv) for my family? Can I continue to function with one apple ID or is it time to take the leep into attempting to manage multi-apple ID's?

Update to what? The 3G you want to update? You have ios3 or 4 on that 3G?

Make a backup of your stuff (from the phone. apps/photos/music/blabla). Update your phone. The phone will restore the backup automatically. -
1) I have multiple accounts at the iTunes store and none are now associated with my purchases...I think because passwords have been associated with various id’s and I can’t log in and access those purchases. I want to get back to being able to use one id and password and be able to access those purchases.
2) When I upgraded my iPhone 3gs, to the latest version 5.0.1 (9A405), is when I noticed that i couldn’t update my applications. There are two names/accounts on the phone and prior to the update there was just the one. I have tried entering every conceivable password that I have ever used and get the incorrect password error every time. The apps on the iPhone are apparently associated with several/different accounts. I just want to get everything back to the way it was. You can use the same Apple ID for both phones, you would then be able to use the purchased Apps/Content on both phones without having to pay again.

CHeck out iTunes Match which has an annual fee of £21 or thereabouts. You can store a maximum of 25,000 songs there and they all become available on your other kit, iPhone, iPad and iPod. I know it works as I have over 23000 songs uploaded of which only a few we're bought through iTunes.
it works by comparing your music to the whole iTunes music dadata base so you access the same tunes that you could get from iTunes. If you have obscure stuff, it uploads your own music to the cloud as a copy.
I Find it incredible that on my iPhone with its 16gb memory I can view almost 200 gb of music (ie my 23000 songs) and play any of them. Anything I add to iTunes becomes available via the cloud fairly quickly from a few minutes or a little longer if adding a lot.
The first time you use it it will take quite a while to match your music if you have a lot, but after that it is all automatic. Read the stuff on the apple site. Your PC needs to be at least running Vista. I recommend it and at less than 50p a week it's good value.

Sorry to ask, how do I do it please. I have my first ipod with the same account on both computers that have different libraries one of which I am building now. Do I have to de-authorise my original ipod on the computer that I want to use my new ipod on with the new library and then register my new ipod. I would rather do this than have 2 libraries on one itunes, but keep the same account details.

I created a yahoo apple id as my main account on my macbook pro but then after a year it had a problem with signing in into imessenger and facetime on both my iphone and ipad so i read a solution from a thread that i need to create another id but it will be a different one and will only be used for my imessenger and facetime. When I tried associating my gmail (one i used for imessenger & facetime), I can't add it on my yahoo apple id account as it is an alternative email add.
