Can I have 'Conditional Pages'?

I have a book file that is both used for a print edition and a PDF edition. I have conditional text fir each (e.g. ISBN number) but for the rest both are equal.
However, the print demands have changed and the print version now needs to come without the cover pages I have at start and end and I need an empty page instead. Is there a way I can do this? I would like to keep page numbering equal in both productions, so that if people want to refer to the text, it does not matter if they have the print or the PDF edition.

This works. Nice trick.
It only works for the cover pages, though and not easily for intermediary pages (if I would want that), because the pages will remain. I can ignore empty pages on export and restart numbering, but maintenance will be brittle.
So far I only need the cover pages to be empty, though.
I might have to remove them, if the print business assumes the first page is the inside of the cover.

Try this.
Open the document and select and copy a few pages, say ten pages.
Open a new blank document and paste the pages you copied into that.
Save it with a new name.
Work on those new pages to see if the problem has disappeared.
If this helps, continue breaking up the large file in to smaller chunks and working on them
You can of course later reverse the process and merge the files into one new one.
This suggestion is based on my experiences with large Word files. Breaking it up in to smaller chunks does two things. First, if there is any corruption in the old file, the new copies might escape that. Second, the Mac is faster handling the smaller chunks.

A form can have more than one page. To introduce a new page in your form, click on the "New Page" icon highlighted in the image below.
The image below shows the result of adding a "New Page" element, with a second text field added to the second page.

How can I have two pages in the same Oracle Drive Path?

I have been using OracleDrive for some time to publish a specific kind of document once every week.
Now I have on my front page a content area that show the newest 3 of these documents. However, I'd like to place a link at the bottom that says "Show All", and that should link to a page that shows all my items in this folder.
So basically I want to have two pages that are based on the same folder..
How can I achieve this behaviour?

When you say two monitors do you mean two separate computers (like 2 iMacs)?
If you mean 2 seperate macs then you could either:

Can I have separate pages (using Microsoft word for mac 2011) utilizing a new iMac and a second monitor?

Hardware - new iMac 21.7, Software Mirosoft word for Mac 2011.
I presently adjust the text to allow two pages on my iMac monitor.
If I add a second monitor can I have two different pages on it so I can
see four consecutive pages (e.g. pages 31 and 32 on the iMac and pages
33 and 34 on the second monitor)? I am sure I can move items like
pictures from one monitor to the other, but will the word processing
software indicated above work like I would like it to?

why would one of the pages be split?
Because you'd stretch the Word window across both displays and the screen bezels would be larger than the page split. The page spacer in Word is much smaller than any bezel I've seen, so the two bezels would cause it to break up a page somewhere.

How can you have all pages open at the same display size, instead of having to hit Ctrl+ to get the size you want?

In IE the page can either be set to 100% or whatever you wish, and once set future pages open up displayed the same way. With FF every time I open a page I have to hit ctrl+ about 3 or 4 times to get it to fill the screen
I have tried changing the default font to 16 with a min of 16 and not letting the page decide etc. I am sure that this has been asked before, but I have not used FF in several years.

There are some add-ons that can be used to change the zoom level on all sites, for example:

There is a secret piece of metadata called [PercentProxy(
"percentHeight")]
that you can use... It redirects percentage values elsewhere.

Can I have different page sizes in the same Pages document?

I am doing an e-zine and since it will be delivered in PDF format Pages page layout features will make it easy....except in some cases I want 2 page spreads and to show that way so I'd want that page to be 17x11 and the rest to be 8.5x11...is there a way to have just that page 17x11 within a document? Or is my only hope to make a separate document at 17x11 and use preview to do the final assembly of the PDFs. Which is a pain because I cant use auto page numbering from pages.

Yes. Pages only allows one size/orientation per document.

Just have a blank where your wide spread is going, with the widespread numbered accordingly and then swap them in the assembled .pdf

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? Do you have a separator page selected? The page order typically may be changed in the Advanced tab of printer preferences, look for a "Page order" selection with an option of "Front to Back" or "Back to Front"

Frozen on terms and condition page after software upgrade, can't go any further. Please help.

after upgrading my ipad2 operating system from my computer, then unplugging went through unlocking and welcome to new OS then at terms and condition page screen has frozen and will not allow any selections of blue text or procedures to future screens. we have rebooted ipad and went back to exact same screen. Is there any chance a restore can be done from icloud?

If you are on the Downloads tab in the iTunes app on the iPad and you're just see the T's & C's link, then that means that you haven't got any outstanding downloads waiting - your content should have downloaded into either the Music or Videos app.

Numbers doesn't have pages. It has a canvas that holds objects such as tables and charts.
Drag the objects from the bottom of the canvas onto the white space above. That will reduce the number of "pages" (sheets of paper) that will print.

How to open an existing Pages document?
Click Pages icon in the Dock to launch Pages.
When Pages is open, click File menu in the Pages menu bar.
Select “Open”.
When the select document dialog box opens up, highlight/select the document and click “Open”

Basic troubleshooting steps oultlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
You need to go through all steps in succession until your problem is solved. If going through ALL these steps fails to resolve your issue, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
