Stop using the same Apple ID for iMessage on these devices.  Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive (Receive At in iOS 5), tap the ID shown, sign out, then sign back in using a unique ID for each device.  (Or, just sign out and stop using your Apple ID for iMessage.)

Can you have more than one computer linked to the same icloud account?  If so how do you add a computer?

Yes, of course - that's the whole point, to provide syncing of data such as calendars, contacts and email between computers and iOS devices. Having got iCloud up and running on one computer, simply sign all other devices in at System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud with the same login. (Lion 10.7.2 and iOS5 are the minimum requirements.)

Its to the point where if my husband is online and I turn on my Ipod it connect to the internet and my husbands connect ends. We keep having to reset router and modem. • Is there a way to have more than one Query view in the same workbook?

Is there a way to have more than one Query view in the same workbook?
BEx allows us to insert Queries into workbooks, but not saved views.
I can open a view in excel & then save it as a workbook....but after that there is no way to add another view to the same excel. If I open a new view, it opens in a new Excel.

    Hi
when u open some query in BEx analyser,u can save it as a query view as well as workbook. The difference is, workbook is if u work with the design mode which will be in the left side of ur screen and query view is wen u save after drill downing some char or key figures from a intial screen wen u execute query in BEx analyser

Applet or Xlet? You have no control over the first on a client machine. Presumably not the second either although I don't know what it is.
Can I run more than one "main application" in the same JVM?Application. Not applet.
You must have a class (code) to start each "application". To keep the environments clean from each other you can use a class loader.

Even JVM's of different versions (or vendors) can run on the same box at the same time.

  • Can I have more than one ipod with more than  music library on one computer

I was just wondering if i could have 2 different ipods (one a 5th generation and the other ipod touch) with 2 different music libraries on the same computer and itunes? because right now im using my parents computer and my fiance is using my laptop and we're moving so we'll only have one computer in the next few weeks. So if anyone could try to give me an answer or have a solution that would be fantastic lol!

See these articles about using more than one iPod on one computer, and with either one or more iTunes libraries.
    Multiple iPod installations.
How to use multiple iPods with one computer.
If you have the latest iTunes, an easy way to create a new library is to hold down the 'alt' key whilst opening iTunes (for Macs), or hold down the 'shift' key (for Windows).
This will give you the option of either using the current iTunes library or creating a new one.
There are various methods of transferring different songs to different iPods with a single iTunes library.
One is to manage the songs manually.
With this setting, you can drag and drop songs/playlists etc onto the iPod from iTunes, and also delete and/or edit songs which are currently on the iPod without affecting the iTunes library.
If you wish to keep the convenience of automatic sync, then you could set the iPods to sync with "selected playlists". This setting can be found in the iPod summary screen under the 'music' tab. With this setting, different playlists can be transferred and later deleted from each iPod without affecting any playlists stored in iTunes or the playlists on the other iPods.
Also, on the 'summary' main page you will see the option to "only sync checked items". With this setting selected, if you remove the check marks from any songs in iTunes, they will not be transferred to the iPod. You can restore the check mark if you want to put the songs back on the iPod at a later date.
Be aware that when playing songs in iTunes, any songs that do not have a check mark against them will be skipped over and will not be played.

  • Can you have more than one ipod on the same computer?

me and my sister live together and we would like to be able to have two seperate libraries on the same computer. one library is already there and when the second ipod is plugged in, it comes up as a sub-library that is unacessable.

There are basically two ways of using multiple iPods on a computer and these involve:
    a) Sharing a single iTunes library and or user account or
    b) Creating multiple user accounts.
Note: When you are sharing an iTunes library, you don't have to set each iPod to update in the same manner, you can mix and match from the options below as each iPod has it's own update settings
Sharing a Library and/or User Account
If you want to share the one library, you can set either or all of the iPods so that they only get updated with only certain playlists (you can update from more than one if you wish):
Loading songs onto iPod automatically - Windows
Choosing the update option "Sync Music - Selected playlists" allows you to create a playlist specifically for the iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used some other time if you choose. You can read more about playlists at these links:
iTunes: Creating playlists of your favorite songs
How to create a Smart Playlist with iTunes
Or you can choose to update any or all of the iPods manually and just drag whatever content you want to them: Managing content manually on iPod
Loading the iPod shuffle differs slightly but it can still be used with the others, for details have a look at this page: Loading songs onto iPod shuffle - Windows
It's also possible to have multiple libraries in a single account. To create or access a second (or more) library, hold down the Option key (or Shift key in Windows) when launching iTunes 7. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to the other Library.
Note: You can only have one Library open at a time and iTunes will default to the last library opened if you don't use the keyboard command to choose one. This can prove tricky when using multiple iPods, if you don't use the keyboard command you can risk syncing to the wrong library:
    Using multiple iTunes libraries -Windows
    Separate User Accounts
Another option is to create a separate User account for each person on your PC or Mac. Different accounts by definition would give you completely separate libraries. Each account has it's own iTunes folder, Library and iTunes Music folder and you load it with CDs etc just as you did with your original one. The iPod can be set to update however the owner chooses, sync all, manual or sync specific playlists
I don't use Windows so I can't give you a step by step on that one, however I can point you to another web page which should help you out. You can read about Windows user accounts here:

  • Can you have more than three ipods registered to a itunes account?

Everyone in our family has a ipod video. so we have a total of 5 in the house. The question I am wondering about is.. can more than 3 ipods be registered to an itunes account? and if not..can we make a new account for the other two? when my son is at college would he be able to log on to the itunes or would he only be able to do it when he came home to visit? Since we would be loading the songs and videos on this end?
Thanks.. we are all new to this..

can more than 3 ipods be registered to an itunes account?
You don't register iPods to an iTunes account.
You simply have an iTunes account at the iTunes store.
You can use this on any computer in the world with internet access. You can use this one iTunes account to purchase and play music on up to 5 computers at a time.
when my son is at college would he be able to log on to the itunes
He can use iTunes whenever he wants.
You don't need to log on to run iTunes.

  • Can I have more than one device active on my iTunes account?

ON my iTunes account I currently have two iPhones and one iPod touch. Everything worked fine until a month ago when suddenly iMessage started sending incorrectly between the iPhones. We don't access iMessage on the iPod. It created a message thread on my phone with my own name, one for the email associated with the iTunes account as well as the normal thread for my husband's phone. All of the iMessages appear in both of our phones as 'sent' or blue messages. Help!

This happens when you are using the same Apple ID for iMessage on both phones.  To correct this, use different Apple IDs on each device.  (You can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>Store if you wish; the ID for iMessage doesn't need to be the same as the one used for purchasing.)  On the phone that will change, go to Settings>Messages>Receive At, tap the Apple ID at the top, sign out, then sign back in using the different ID.
