Can I have multiple Game Center accounts with one Apple ID?

My wife and I use the same Apple ID but want to have individual game enter accounts. Is this possible? Or does my wife need to set up her own Apple ID? Any one got any ideas?

After 2 hours worth of searching with no answer, I decided to run a test and it worked. This is what I did to have multiple Game Center IDs on iOS7. (People responding may have over looked this detail because they assumed it was obvious, but it wasn't)
Answer: you MUST have multiple Apple ID accounts, however, you use the main one to log in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE.
1. I deleted the Alternate Email Address associated with my account
2. I created an entire new Apple ID with this email address
3. I login in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE with my original Apple ID (credit card on file)
4. I login to Game Center, iCloud, etc... with my kid's NEW Apple ID
So purchasing still goes under our shared account and game center, iCloud, etc... go under my kid's Apple ID.

Multiple Game Center accounts in one Apple ID

Is it possible to have more than one Game Center account under one Apple ID? My wife and I share an ID, but want different accounts so that we can play each other. It must have been possible because we were somehow doing that before IOS 6. If I log on using the apple ID I am in my wife's account and I can see me there as a friend, so the account is there. I just can't access it. I really want to challenge people, with the Game Center update! Please help.

Multiple Game Center accounts from one Apple ID

I have 2 Game Center accounts on my apple ID, which I set up on my IOS 5 devices. When I updated to IOS 6, I could no longer get onto one of my accounts. There is no place to log on using your nickname, only your apple ID. On my wife's account I can see myself there as a friend and I cannot seem to access the account though. I have read a few reviews about this but they seem a bit outdated now that IOS 6 is here. Can anyone help?

that's the issue, you bought the OS online so Donald is right, it is being mailed to you. post the URL where you bought it.
the 'app store' is an application running on OSX itself where you can DL software.
so, you have to wait for mountain lion to arrive.
if you want to get a clean OS on your machine now, do this
reboot holding down command/option/R (hoping your machine supports this)
open disk utility, erase your HD so you have a single mac journaled partition
choose install OSX on this HD
let it run. from what you said, you will be back on lion.

After a long chain of emails with the maker of the game he stopped being helpful but we figured out that i have two game center accounts but only one apple id. Get a separate Apple ID for one of the phones. Or turn OFF iCloud contacts synching on the one you do not want contacts to synch.

Yes I did. I have created two with same apple ID. Just go to the game center and click on create new account. Choose the nickname you would like and your going to have it.

We have 3 i touches at our house. My son went to add a picture to his Game Center account, and now can't get into his account, because it asks for the ID and so on. Using the Apple ID, it defaults to my game center account, and since it only asks for the Apple ID, not the Game Center Name, how can I differientiate between the three?

Surely we don't have to create new Apple ID's for children?? Also, if we can no longer have multiple user names on our Game Center accounts, as we have done for years, we had 3 users, myself and my 2 children. I want to purchase each of my children their own iPad and keep them in my supervision by using my Apple ID. However I'd like us all to have our own games so one child doesn't mess up the others activity, or mine!

Creating a new iTunes account does not remove any purchases made on a different account.
If you want to create a new account : iTunes: How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes
Or if you will want to use it in the stores and don't want to give credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
Or if you are not currently logged into an account in game centre then you should have a 'create a new Apple id' link at the bottom of the login screen in it.

TWO Game center acount with one Apple ID

Hello!
I have a little problem with my iPod Touch 4. I somehow have two Game Center IDs with ONE Apple ID. It won't stay logged in to the ID I've used all the time and i have to log in twice until it logs in to my real ID. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I already updated my iOS to the newest, iOS 4.3.2 and I have the latest update of Game Center.

Unless you can find a way to delete the Game Center account you don't want, I can't think of any other way to solve your problem.

I can't sign up for a game center account with my apple id email!

I have seen one entry about this already, but it didn't give an answer. I just got an iPhone and can use my apple ID to get apps just fine. But I can't create a Game Center account. In the other thread I saw about this, someone suggested to make sure your birth year is entered in your information. I've done that but it doesn't help.
Anyone know how I can fix this issue?
