Can i have my snr reset back to 8 or 9db please

Hi i have emailed the mods many times concerning this matter can i please have my snr reset back to its optimum 6 or 9db i have had a steady stable speed now and would like it reset back to what it was please. If for any reason you wont can i please have an explanation to why as i havent recieved one yet many thanks.

@ rodger i believe it was a hub fault at first then too many resets on my part from swapping hubs over and being impatient (had to learn the hard way!). Advice from you guys would be great though. I am considering buying a new router where i can use the dgt firmware to lower it gradually myself or maybe getting a bt business 2700 as ive herd they can hold the snr on long lines. I was syncing at 3.4 minimum so ive lost 1 mb in speed and that was stable since my line was up and running untill i had a hub issue. Maybe i need to wait longer but noone is telling me anything concerning it. So some advice would go a long way

    I have had a perfectly stable connection at 2.7mb (with no disconnects) but after a firmware upgrade on me router that i guess was done remotely me speed has dropped to 1.5mb. can i get me snr ratio set back to 6db please so i can at least have that extra 1mb (makes all the difference at these slow speeds!!!).

    A few couple of months ago I had some great help from the mods here resolving my connection issues.  I had several engineer visits and my they locked my SNR to:

    ( 72.360000) DSL noise margin: 23.80 dB upstream, 9.00 dB downstream
    14:37:44, 02 Mar.
    ( 71.380000) DSL line rate: 446 Kbps upstream, 6816 Kbps downstream
    It has since been discovered that the source of my problem was a REIN source from another house on the estate which has now been eliminated.  I was wondering if I could have my noise margin returned to 6bB Up and Down as it turned out my line was not the issue.  My connection is pretty stable, so I would like to squeeze a bit more sped out of it and uncap my upload rate.  Any help appreciated.

    As you have 4 days connection time the mods will post a contact us link and reset down noise margin to 6db. 
    After completing the email NOT PM then you join a queue of other customers waiting for mod help. The mods will get back to you in 3/5 working days either by phone or email

    The Restrictions passcode is part of the backup, so you would not want to restore from backup. To restore as new, just connect the phone to the computer and iTunes, and restore. If you cannot just click on restore, you may need to put the device into recovery mode. Search for infomation on that.

    What is it that you have lost and want back ?
    And was your ''old browser'' another version of Firefox or a completely different browser.
    If for instance you have lost Google Toolbars not that this is no longer supported by Google on Firefox because basically it adds very little if any functionality that Firefox does not already have, (and you can still gain access to google bookmarks if that happens to be one of your problems).

  • Can I have the old autocomplete back?

    I'm more a keyboard user than a mouser. So I'm in the habit of typing URLs rather than clicking bookmarks.
    In Safari 5 the autocomplete suggestions are all different from what I'm used to. It's so infuriating.
    Is this some gratuitous UI change I just have to accept (like a new version of Windows or MS Office) or is there some hidden config item so I can put it back the way it was?

    Avoid url's autocompletion: The url's you see when you start typing a web page address are collected from your History and Bookmarks. One way to avoid that is to turn on Private Browsing from the Safari Menu Bar, Safari/Private Browsing. In private browsing, Safari won't remember the pages you visit, your search history, or your autofill information.

  • Have tried to reset password but have not received reset email after 2 days. Please help!

    Hi there fellow Apple-ites.
    Hoping you can help with this.
    After using my current Apple ID (new email address) for about a year for app store and iTunes, find my friends, iPhone (etc) and being able to log into iCloud, my new (this year) MBP has somehow reverted to my old ID (old email address, still same account). I just upgraded to Lion and now iCal tells me it can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with Apple ID, which is my old email address.
    I want to be able to log in under my old Apple ID to change it over to my current Apple ID, or somehow unlink from my old Apple ID.
    I can't remember the password because it's been ages since I've used it. I have tried to reset but I haven't received the reset emails in the last 2 days. I have checked spam and trash in all email addresses in case it is a different address to the one I thought. I have also checked that I don't have any filters that could delete the email.
    I tried the secret questions but I can't get past the birthdate page - says my info is incorrect! I have followed the links from the general support area and checked iCloud system status and everything is normal. I have noticed a lot of people have this problem but that it appears unresolved or they haven't written back on how it has been resolved.
    This problem seems too common to warrant a phone call or visit to an Apple store (there is no Apple store in my town either). Anyone have any ideas? I promise I'll respond when/if it resolves! By the way, I'm in Australia.

    I linked through and submitted my info as a "topic not covered" in the iCloud section. After entering the serial number of my MBP it turns out I wasn't eligible for technical support (though I don't think this is hardware related support) and the final suggestion was to take my computer into an Apple store. I called my local Apple reseller and asked for assistance. The customer service rep was very nice but unable to help, so suggested I call Apple Support on 1300 321 456. I did so and, again, spoke to two very polite and helpful customer service people (I was transferred to security services). I didn't have to be on hold to speak to either rep for more than a few seconds! After trying a few different things, he worked out what was happening...
    So, to cut a long story short, to solve the problem in my OP, all I had to do was log out of iCloud in my System Preferences and log back in using my current Apple ID. [Edited to add that I had to sign out of everything I was currently signed in to with my Apple ID before logging out and in again.]

    I shot it for a friend at a hotel. Can you let me know if if works ok / stutters etc. on your computer.
    I edited hdv pal / ppro cs3 then adobe media encoder to H 264 1280 x 720 25fps bitrate min 2 max 4. keyframes 25.
    It looks pretty bad i think at the normal youtube. It looks a lot better when you hit the 'watch in hd' but begins to stutter.
    Do you have any advice?

    First, thank you for doing a very nice piece. I'm a tad bit tired of the "in-your-face" skateboarding pieces. The young lady is also "easy on the eyes."
    Second, I looked at the piece in both resolutions, and also after all buffering had completed. The only things that I saw were one Transition at about the 1/4 point that seemed to have about a 1-frame "glitch," or something. Two of the Titles also did not seem to fade-up/move-in at the same pace, or with the same smoothness as the others. Even looking at movement, like the flag (again near the 1/4 mark - sorry that I did not write down the exact TimeCode), I did not notice any stuttering. I'd better get this out of the way right now, I'm viewing on my laptop's 17" 1680x1050 nVidia GeForce 8800M GTX-512MB display, with full hardware acceleration.
    Not sure what you, and Dan, are seeing. I'm usually a pretty critical observer, though might be missing something important. If you can give me a TimeCode and where, in the frame, you're both seeing the problems, I'll be glad to give it another go.

  • How can I have 3.3GB of back up on my camera roll when I have deleted ALL of my photos from my device?

    My icloud is full and I do not undertstand how?  I have deleted all of my photos, all of my e mails, etc.  But it still says i have 3.4 GB on my camera roll and it will not back up to icloud anymore.  It does not seem that there is a way to actually "see" what is on you icloud. Oh I can see the storage stats as to what amount of things are using up the storage, but I want to SEE the actual items on my icloud.  Why all of a sudden is my icloud full?  When I have no data to fill it?

    You are correct that you can't see the specific files that are included in the backup.  You can, of course, see all of your iCloud data from within the apps that your are syncing with iCloud, as well as on icloud.com.
    The things listed under Backup Options are only the ones that you have to option to include/exclude, which is not everything in the backup.  The backup includes:
    Photos and videos in your Camera Roll
    Device settings
    App data
    Home screen and app organization
    iMessage, text (SMS), and MMS messages
    Ringtones
    Visual Voicemail
    Apple also states (from http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12519), "It doesn't include data already stored in iCloud, for example contacts, calendars, bookmarks, mail messages, notes, shared photo streams, My Photo Stream, and documents you save in iCloud using iOS apps and Mac apps."  (It is possible, however, to restore some if this from your backup with some effort; it just isn't officially supported.)
    Music is not backed up.  You can redownload purchased music from the iTunes store.  Music from other sources should be in the iTunes library on your computer.
    If you aren't going to back up your camera roll to iCloud be sure to import it to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • How can I have iPhone send data back to my Mac

    I have an idea for a project.  To make my idea possible, I plan to use the NSSpeechRecognizer, or speech recognition on my iPod (really any form of speech recognition).  Then, I want my iPod to send what it heard back to my mac as a string.  I would like to avoid using iCloud, but if I have to use it, I am okay with that.  So for example, I could say "Hello" to my iPod, and my Mac would somehow get the string "Hello" from my iPod as input to a program.  Is this possible?

    I solved it with a work around. I can't figure out the SMS, but I decided I could just send myself an email notification. Then, I can have my phone tell me that I have a new email with an alert.  I hope this helps someone else.

    Seriously, I cant find anything, cant do anything, shuffle does not work, the views suck, I want the old horizontal album cover view back.     I couldn't agree more. the short time it worked before the program tried to update its self and was deleted from the computer, it was hard to find anything. now can't load any version. all i get is error 2324. Hey Apple, get it fixed. we shouldn't have to pay another company for a "fix" program just to run ituens!!!!
