Can I import a list of websites that pop ups are allowed from?
I work in IT at a small college. Our library has a list of 20+ websites that they want to allow pop ups from. I have the list entered in my sysprep unattend.xml to populate the exceptions list in IE, and was hoping for some similar shortcut for within Firefox that I could add as a batch file. Adding 20+ URLs one at a time in to Fire fox is pretty tedious work.
Any assistance would be most appreciated!

Firefox stores the exceptions in the permissions.sqlite file in the profile folder.

I am running OS 10.6.7 on an iMac.
Yes, I'm using the default theme.
I've only installed some add-ons. Everything else is as it is upon initial installation of FF4.0.
Apart from the "Status-4-Evar" add-on, I'm using the same set of add-ons as I had in Firefox 3.6, again just the default theme, and had no issues with stretched icons.
I've tried turning "hardware acceleration" on and off, but it makes no difference, the stretching will occur either way. -

We received our Mac the first of the year. We previously had iPhone's and had all our contact on them. When it can time to set everything up we thought, ok, plug it in and it will work find, everything will import and sync and the world will be a great place. Wrong. My wife did the set up with the itunes account, that went smooth but the contact list is the problem. It up loaded once and then I decided to do something with it and it was erased. My fault I know. I tried to just upload the contact again from the iPhone but they were erased from my wife iPhone. The setting were check "Sync add book, all" I've changed the setting in itunes so they don't sync so i don't lose them. Any thought would be helpful.

here, then go back and config the properties?

Usually, there's no need for that. Most people only configure services
that aren't already configured the way they should be after an OOBE
install...

You can't: iWeb cannot import html files, and relies entirely on its own 'Domain' file which lives by default in your User Library. You would have to recreate the site from scratch, using the original as a guide and a source for images and text; or use an HTML editor.
Depending on how complicated the site is you may be able to do this in Kompozer, which is free. It is a WYSIWYG web page created which also gives you access to the code, and which can open any HTML page (though if the page is heavily dependent on external CSS you may have difficulties with it). -
In Lion, can I clear the list of applications that have requested Location Services under System Preferences...Security & Privacy…Privacy?
I have uninstalled an application but the name of the app is still showing up in this list of apps. I have disabled it but was wondering if there is a way to remove it from this list.I don't believe you can since it is populated automatically by the system. FWIW, I do not have location services enabled - I chose not to since I have no intention of tucking my 27" under my arm and taking it somewhere. And, I deny any request any app wanting to use it and have not experienced any error messages because of it.

Thanks!No, the list isn't directly editable. However, if you reject the suggestion by tapping the "x" it will eventually learn the original word you typed and stop suggesting alternatives.

If you mean your iPhone backup, you can't see any files in the backup, you can only restore it to your phone. You can confirm that you have one by going to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage and seeing that your phone is listed at the top under Backups.

My Wife and I have separate accounts on the same Macbook Pro. I have moved the iTunes library to a shared area and we can both access it, however, my Wife (secondary user)can't import cd's. Is there something we are missing and is there a way to do this?

I just burned photos from different albums to CD-R. When I checked on the photos I burned on the CD-R afterwards, I noticed that the titles of each folder that these photos are extracted from appear. How can I get rid of these titles???
iPhoto 9.6 cannot open iPhoto Libraries on CD/DVD. The iPhoto Library needs to be on a writable storage. Copy the iPhoto library from the disk to a folder in your Pictures folder. And then run the iPhoto Library Upgrader on that copy, see this link: iPhoto '11: About the Library Upgrader

if that doesn't help, in Safari, throw away your history from the days since you had the issue. that may get rid of it. If it doesn't you may need to throw away your cookies (which isnt' any fun because it'll sign you out of any site you regularly sign into)
