Can I import a recording from SHDB into a project in LSMW?

Hi,
I'm working with LSMW, and i would like to know if it's possible to import o reuse a recording that already exists in transaction SHDB?
I tried but it seems that i should create a new recording again in the lsmw althought there exits one that was created by the shdb.
Thank you.
Regards,
Albio.-

Hi,
No, it is not possible to import the recording you have done using SHDB transaction to LSMW as LSMW has its own recording facility, and we need to make use of the one available in LSMW.

That says Reset Documents and Data, not Contacts.
I want you to go to www.icloud.com, login and see how many contacts are there, because they are all the iCloud contacts. Any contacts that are not there, are not on iCloud.

If you had Illustrator you could take advantage of smart objects.

  • How Journal Import groups records from GL_INTERFACE into Journal Headers

    Hello,
Does anyone know how or using what criteria the Journal Import program groups records from the GL_INTERFACE into Journal Entries?
The R12 User Guide says that :
REFERENCE4 (Journal entry name): Enter a journal entry name for your journal entry.
Journal Import creates a default journal entry name using the following format:
(Category Name) (Currency) (Encumbrance Type ID, if applicable) (Currency
Conversion Rate, if applicable) (Currency Conversion Date, if applicable) (Originating
Balancing Segment Value), chopped to the first 100 characters. If the above results in
multiple journals in the same batch with the same name, then additional characters are
chopped off, and a 2, 3, 4, and so on, is added for the second, third, fourth, journals with
    the same name.
Does it mean that for every unique combination of Category+Currency+CurrencyConversion Rate+Currency Conversion Date, a Journal Header would be created? I also found that although not mentioned in the user guide, if the Accounting Date within a group of records is different, the import program includes accounting date to the above criteria and tries to create separate Journal headers per Accounting Date.
Also, is there a way to override this ( Category+Currency+CurrencyConversion Rate+Currency Conversion Date) criteria?
    Thanks,
    Manish

any suggessions on the above query?
    Thanks & regards

  • Can't import any audio file types into my project files in AECS5

I'm trying to add sound effects to a titles animation for the first time. When I tried to import a .wav file i got this error:
after effects error. Can't import file (filename.wav)  unsupported filetype or extension
So I converted the file to .mp3. Still didn't work. I converted the file to .aiff, wma and none worked.
Whats the problem? Better to just animate in AE and input sound effects in Premiere?
    please help!

However, you did NOT answer Todd's very crucial question:
Are you running AE 10 without having done the free update to AE 10.0.1, which corrects a wealth of AE weirdness?  Hmmmmmm?
That's the first thing to tend to if you haven't done it yet.
You have other issues going on as well.
Issue #1 is that you only have 4GB RAM, and for AE 10, that's absolutely NOTHING.  You need to get more memory, you need to get it right away, and you have to turn off multiprocessing and leave it off until you get more memory.  Think about bringing your machine up to 12 GB minimum to use multiprocessing.  You should tend to that next.
Issue #2 -- you have your media files on the same drive as your OS and applications.  This is very bad indeed.  You need to get an additional hard drive for your project files and media files.  A 1 TB internal hard drive costs what.... about $100 US?  That's the third thing to do.
Once you do all that, you ought to stand a fighting chance at getting your audio work done in AE.  And you should use either AIFF or WAV files.  Do NOT use any kind of compressed audio.  AE has NEVER worked well with compressed audio.
Can't afford to do all that hardware upgrading?  Got a video editing application?  Import your AE animation -- VIDEO ONLY, no audio -- and any audio files you need, including sound effects.  Do the work in the video editor.  Not only will it be faster, but easier.

  • How can I Import photos directly from Mail into iPhoto?

Prior to updating to Lion, when viewing photo attachments within Apple Mail, I could do a quick preview of attached photo(s) within the email and click an iPhoto icon that would import the photos into iPhoto. Something has changed now when selecting "Quick Look" I do not get an option to send the photo to iPhoto. Am I missing somthing or is this feature no longer available with Lion/Mail?

Not sure if this helps or not. I recently installed Lion for my mother, and she couldn't figure out how to export photos in an email to iPhoto. Turns out she had to click on Details in the upper right corner of the email message. Then the Save and Quick Look buttons returned. If you click and hold on Save (possibly on the triangle on the right side of the button) there is an option to save to iPhoto.
I haven't upgraded to Lion myself yet so I can't answer your specific question regarding saving to iPhoto from the Quick Look preview.

  • How can I import a .pdf from CorelDRAW into photoshop?

    Hey,
I have a client who is sharing a CorelDRAW file with me, but I can't find a way to import it into Photoshop. I know Corel is for Vectors, and Photoshop is now, but I thought the .pdf format would be compatible... I managed to import one pdf, but the colours were very distorted. A larger file just wouldn't open at all.
Any help? I only have Photoshop, not Illustrator.
    Thanks,

  • How can I import psd photos from Elements into iPhoto?

I cannot import psd photos into iPhoto without saving them to the desktop, which is a real hassle (hundreds of photos).  Am I doing something incorrectly?  Thanks for any advice.

I may be preaching to the choir here but this might be of help to you:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop.  When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.  3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that  PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file.  You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 or later the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.  In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window".  That will let you either edit in iPhoto (click on the Edit button) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and select "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu).  This way you get the best of both worlds.

  • How can I import selected photos from iPhoto into Premiere Elements on the Mac?

I run Premiere Elements on a Mac (Lion O/S). I have more than 13,000 photos in iPhoto that I would like to be able to access from Premiere (to include shots relevant to the video I am compiling).  How do I do this?
I also have Photoshop Elements but not yet installed it since I do not want to replicate all these photos - will consume too much hard drive space.
I look forward to your advice.
    Thanks

The way I do this on my iMac : I select the required photos in iPhoto, then I export them on a specific folder I create for the video,
generally a subpart of the area where I have captured my HDV footage with Premiere Elelements.
Then, I import these specific pictures in my Premiere Elements project.
For Photoshop Elements, it has 2 parts : the organizer of your library, which requires to create a copy of your photos, and the modifier
which you can use as a complement to iPhoto only to modify your pictures with  possibilities given by Photoshop.
As I have enough space on external hard drive, I use Photoshop and iPhoto to have permanently a back-up copy of my pictures.
It was my choice related to my configuration.
    Bonne chance.

  • Can I import rw2 files (from GH3) into Ad. Prem. Pro?

    Any way to do this?

    No.
You will need to export them from Photoshop or Lightroom. Use JPG or PNG.
Look at it this way. Most RAW files (and I commend you for shooting RAW) require a little adjustment or they look flat. They are designed to just take in all of the information from the sensor, and that information needs to be filtered to give you a proper contrast, and maybe even exposure. Whites, blacks, shadows... All of these things need Photoshop or Lightroom.
Let's look at it another way. The RAW files from the GH3 are usually 4608X3072. That size JPG or PNG file can be handled by Premiere Pro, but is it something you really want to do? Well, if you are planning on panning all over the picture, then sure. But if you are going to scale the picture down to fit into a high definition video, perhaps 1920X1080, why make Premiere Pro do the work when Photoshop or Lightroom both do it better.
If you don't have Lightroom or Photoshop, there will be an release very soon where you can subscribe to both programs for a total of $9.99 per month for the pair. That is a huge savings. On the other hand, I think you can probably use Photoshop Elements and it still has a perpetual license. And I think Lightroom still does also.

I have an elaborate system of rules forwarding incoming mail to various folders, and I'd prefer not to have to set it up all from scratch.

  • Can you import a slideshow from Encore into Premiere Pro 2.0?

I would like to combine video with a slide show - as well as use some of the functions in Premiere Pro in conjunction with a slideshow created in Encore.
Is it possible to import a slide show created in Encore into Premiere Pro?

    Not really, no.
It might be possible to rip a DVD with your Encore slideshow, but I don't know how well PPro would handle it, and any audio would likely have to be converted to WAV.

  • I can not import my photos from iphone into iPhoto

    hi,
I've amassed around 18Gbs of photos and videos on my iphone and have never been able to import them!
In the old iphoto it would start importing then stop (deleting photos imported so far) since upgrading to Lion I can't even see the iphone appear in iphoto.
BTW I'm really trying to back the phone up so I can more to the iphone 5  - but that's failed (well I gave up after 6 hours!) so I thought I would import photos and speed up the backup process..
    Why is this so hard!
    Any tips?
    J

    Some suggestions:
Restrart the Phone, if that fails reset the phone.
Try use Image Capture (in your Applications Folder)
