Can I import iMatch categories and descriptions into the organizer?

I own both iMatch (v3.6) and Photoshop Elements (8)
I want to migrate my photo and video catalog to the Elements Organizer avoiding a lot of work creating tags and categories all over again. Is there a way to import my categories and descriptions I made in iMatch into Elements Organizer?

I just tried exporting the existing cloud calendar - which confusingly we've called "Family" and it's been in place for the last 4 years! - and then re-importing it and seeing if it will let me import to an existing calendar rather than make a new one. It worked for a few seconds (I told it to import in to the new "Family" calendar set up through Family Sharing). They all showed up alright - effectively duplicating all family events - but then I had thousands of error messages telling me the event already existed on the server and the only thing I could do was 'Revert to Server' - which deleted them all again. (It let me choose "Ignore" to start with but when the thousands of events clocked over to the first one again I knew I was on a hiding to nothing!).
Going to try doing it about-face and deleting all trace of the original "Family" calendar first this time, (OK to do now that it's been exported)... stand by . . .

If you had Illustrator you could take advantage of smart objects.
Has been awhile since I worked in Corel (so do not remeber if Corel had clipboard settings whcih need adjusuting), but do remember copying a path, getting that into Phothshop as shape layer for part of the artowrk in a trade show poster.

I can't import scanned docs and photos into IPhoto.

I see this question not really answered from years ago, when the MACs didn't have Intel processors. Now it is 2010, I have a MacBook Pro with IPhoto 9. Still can't get this problem answered. I meant by "not compatible" that all the solutions that I found on the web did not work, especially the "Microsoft exchange" one.
Fortunately I found on the comments of the first website you mentioned the right answer for me, which I copy below:
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDav Account.
Enter the following information in the fields:
Server: google.com
User Name: Enter your full Google email address
Password: Your Google account password
Select Next at the top of the screen to complete the setup.
After you have completed the setup, open the Contacts app on your device. Syncing should begin automatically.
Additional Information
Note: Make sure that SSL is enabled (under Advanced settings), and that the port is 443.
If you are using application based special password go to https://accounts.google.com/Se... and instead of your password put that special code and u r done.

I doubt it will do graphics and layout, but maybe, depending on your version of Indesign you may hit lucky (but probably not).

I have the exact same issue, but with a standard IMAP account and SMTP. My iPhone can send out, using the EXACT same settings, from the exact same WiFi connection...but the 10.8 MacBook cannot send at all. The only account I can send out on is my iCloud account.
I have also tried all the steps above...no luck.
I have also turned off all network filters and firewalls...no luck. (And as I said above, my iPhone is on the exact same WiFi connection and using the exact same settings, and it can send fine.)
Other messages I've found via Google have suggested simply forcing the SMTP server to use Port 25, but that didn't work for me either.

sorry, of course USB is available for L&T, I use it every Friday so I should know better, I got two replies mixed up completly so thanks for correcting my mistake.
what I meant to suggest was if the camera does not show in finder or in L&T check the camea menu setting is set to connect to the hard drive and not from the camera or memory card.

Can't import photos from new "Photo" into iMovie 9.0.

Since upgrading to the new Photo app, iMovie 9.0 only recognizes Photo Booth. Previously I could drag and drop selected photos into iMovie, but now can't import them that way or through the Photo Browser in iMovie. Any suggestions?

Over the course of about a week, I did persistently try to upgrade to iMovie 10 but, despite the help of the Apple Support Community, could not get all my projects to migrate properly from iMovie 9 to 10. Many of them Many of the 300 short projects come in a jumbled mess. So I'm stuck with iMovie 9, which, in turn, means Photos won't connect properly when working with iMovie. At least I know to stop trying and I'm able to go back to iPhoto without suffering any repercussions.

We are having no luck with the thousands of songs we have to manualy add to a particular playlist in iTunes alone. .. there must be a simpler way! Unfortunately I need more help if you or someone else can provide it. I followed all the steps you have instructed so far in the threads I have seen. Unfortunately nothing so far works for me. Maybe you or someone can help me, I'd really appreciate it. I tried the notepad++ method and when I click on save I always get a notepad file that my iTunes can't do anything with. I click the "convert to UTF-8 without BOM" then click save as and it still saves as a notepad file. I am also unable to find the \n\ file path to replace with my \C:\ filepath. I can't import any files or folders into Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 projects. When I select import and then either files or folders, I am able to navigate to the drive where the media is being stored, but then when I scroll to locate the files or folders the drive disappears. This problem began as an intermittent problem, but now I cannot import any files or folders. This problem started when I upgraded my operating system to Yosemite version 10.10.2 on my mid-2010 Mac Pro running with 16 GB of memory and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB graphics card. Then just drag the files/folders from your hard drive into FCP. Don't use the IMPORT option...just drag and drop.
The problem started when you installed an OS that doesn't support FCP 7. So if you want things to work smoothly, it's best to go back to an OS that did support FCP 7. Yosemite was written without taking FCP 7 functionality in mind, so it isn't fully functional. It might not do one thing for someone...but works for you in that respect. But then you can't do something else. The ways it doesn't work is always random. Or it might work great for some people, because they don't use functions that might no longer work....so they don't notice it.

What versions of UPK and Knowledge Pathways are you using? If you're using the current versions (UPK 3.5.1 and Knowledge Pathways 5.5), you should have no problems importing importing UPK modules and sections into Knowledge Pathways using the import player content feature, which is detailed in the product documentation. If you have additional questions, please let us know.
