Can i incorporate a flash gallery into my website - dreamweaver ?

Can I incorporate a flash gallery into my original template design? Or must it be on a different page?

You get better answers on that in the Dreamweaver forum.

  • Embedding My Gallery into a website?

I have a website I am building- website funny .I have elements Organizer set up with multiple albums that I can sync up to Photoshop.com. I would then like to have a link on my website that launches an embedded copy of my gallery into the website so it appears that it is all part of the same site.
Does this capability currently exist? Would I have to sync it up with another site (PhotoBucket or other) to make this happen? I don't want ot maintain the files in multiple locations and Elements Organizer does not have direct FTP capapbility (if it does I haven't found it). So I am looking for a one-stop solution if possible. I'm a little knew at this so be nice .
    Thanks

Photoshop.com has been replaced by www.adoberevel.com.  With this new, online photo service from Adobe what you're asking for is not possible at this time.
I'm going to move your thread over to the Elements forum in case users or Adobe team members there can offer advice.

  • How can i turn a photoshop file into a website with knowing code? can i upload Muse or DreamWeaver?

How can i turn a photoshop file into a website with knowing code? can i upload Muse or DreamWeaver?
I created a few images (pages for a site) on photoshop and want to turn them into HTML code for a website- Can i Just upload the file into one of these programs and make a file with the correct code imediatly?
I was reading about using EDGE Reform but i did not understand if i can create the code with it, in the end it says it still needs to be sent to website developer after?

You need to look at Dreamweaver as a code editor. You need to learn to create good, clean HTML code with style sheets to make websites with Dreamweaver.
There are tutorials that will take you from a layered .PSD file to HTML. Here's a good one:
    http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/site-builds/from-psd-to-html-building-a-set-of-website-d esigns-step-by-step/
Adobe's Muse is a semi-WYSIWYG website layout creator for small websites (1-5 pages). But there is no way you can go from a .PDS file to Muse, you have to start the site in Muse.
I have seen a few Muse sites and they're OK, but there is some code that Muse creates that is kind of odd. If you want a good, clean website that will work for you or your business, Dreamweaver is the best choice. Alternatively, you could hire a pro.

  • Can I use Bridge Flash Gallery in Dreamweaver

LOVE Bridge's design for a photo gallery!  Is there a way that I can use that flash gallery as a gallery in a web design?  In otherwords, in a web design or as a link.  I have a main page designed in Dreamweaver and want to use the gallery created in Bridge as a means to view my artwork.  Is that possible.  I see that I can publish it, but how can I use as a link.  I thought this more a Bridge Forum question I hope...
    MANY THANKS in advance!!

I appreciate all of your comments. I am also working throught this problem with my site www.jakgallery.com
I used iFrame to incorporate but when uploaded it does not work. I contacted Adobe and suggested that many users are having similiar problems and that it seems like an issue they could address. They suggested I go to www.adobe.com/devnet and post my problem there and Adobe people would review this problem to find a fix.
Just a suggestion. I think this is something that would be obvious to connect Bridge and Dreamweaver in an easier way. We'll see.
    Thanks, Mike

  • Embedding Adobe Lightroom 3 Flash Gallery into Website

Exporting Photo Gallery from LR3 into DWcs5 via Insert>Media>SWF, it imports but is stuck loading. Help?
This is what it's stuck as: http://voirlamour.com/weddings.html
The images are all resized to max dimension of 800px, so it's not a size>loading issue. I've Put all files, even dependents (as that helped before).
This is what the code looks like:
    <object id="FlashID" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-4… width="741" height="469">

    Help?

The template that I'm using is a user created one, but basically the Pure White, but shut off rows and columns and turn all the font and everything but the photo borders and the button directions to white. You shouljd end up with nothing but the picture with a border and the buttons below it. Again, it was a lightroom flash gallery. If you look on the website now, I substituted a simpleviewer gallery, so don't use that as a reference anymore. =P What it basically showed up as was the spinning loading circle, but it worked in lightroom fine. Although! It did Not work in Lightroom's Preview in browser. The page opened and remained blank without the loading symbol.
    Identity Plate: Off
Picture size: X-L (tried with all sizes, really)
Quality: 80% (have increased and decreased)
    Sharpening: Standard (tried low already)
    Watermarking: Off
There are 9 images 800px at max point apiece. I'm exporting, not uploading it, to my site root folder in DW for the main page. Then insert>media>swf so on and so forth. =]

  • Can you import a Flash annimation into Fireworks?

I want to prototype some Flex type user interactions in Fireworks.  I only need a few annimation & I don't want to create my entire prototype using Flash. Where could I find info on using a Flash annimation in a Fireworks prototype?

Since you cannot import Flash file into Fireworks, you would need to add it to your mockup after export. Obne way to handle it is to create a placeholder image Fireworks, and replace the placeholder image in the exported page in Dreamweaver.

  • Adding web gallery into existing website

    Hi,
Does anyone know if you can add/import a lightroom created web gallery into an existing webpage? I am redoing my website (originally created with Frontpage, now considering using Expression Web) and want to create photo galleries using lightroom. I know you can create the same type of gallery using Flash, however I don't want to buy a new program when I have lightroom already. I don't have enough experience with HTML to use Dreamweaver.
    Thanks!
    Nancy

This previews just fine from Dreamweaver but when uploaded non
of my images load. Please see www.jakgallery.com/19701979
All I get is the circular wait icon. Thanks very much for any help you can give. It seems I am one little step away from making it work.

  • How do I insert Flash Gallery into Flash page?

Hi, I've created my own web page in Flash (Dreamweaver front) with Flash elements in a separate swf file. I want to create a gallery only on the front page of my site but I'm not sure if I can create new and insert on the page, or if need to create a new swf file on the timeline - not sure how to do this and not mess up my site? Any help?

Create an empty movieclip symbol in the main file and palce it on the stage exactly where you want the top left corner of the gallery to be.  Assign an instance name to that movieclip.
Then use the loadMovie or MovieClipLoader.loadClip functions to load the swf file into that movieclip.  If you need to somehow control the gallery via the main file, then you would be better off using the loadClip approach because it supports having an event listener to be bale to tell when the file is loaded.
You should be able to find an example in the Help documentation of using the loadMovie function for loading it into the empty movieclip I said to add earlier.
If your gallery uses _root references in its code, you will probably have to add "    this.lockRoot = true;   " to the main timeline of the gallery file.  Otherwise, those references will be targeting the main file it is loading into.

  • Can't format a flash drive into exFAT

Hi, so I have a flash drive and I want to formate it into exFAT/NTFS. I go and do everything, but then I got MS-DOS (FAT). Also I do not have option for NTFS. I apply 2 screenshots so that to see what is happening here.

I can't say if that's the internal logic in Disk Utility at work, but since the main benefit of exFAT over FAT is the ability to save files larger than 4GB, and the flash drive you're working on is only 4GB in size, there's no reason not to just leave it as FAT. Moreover, Disk Utility is known to have problems with exFAT formatting (the recommendation is to do it on a Windows PC), so you're better off as is. Finally, the Mac OS can read but not write to NTFS drives so being able to format a drive as NTFS would be counter-productive.

  • How can I incorporate new backing beans into a Webcenter Spaces Server?

I am using the WebCenterSpaces application in Customization Developer Role to make changes to some taskflows for a customer. In order to implement a desired change in the Nav Model for the customer, I had to write 3 very small backing beans. They compiled fine, the taskflow let me add them as managed beans. It even new about these backing beans, presumably because I compiled them. I made changes to the .jsff file to use them and that worked fine. However the metadata.mar created when I deploy the application does not have these new classes, so they will not get put into the WC_Spaces server when I use WLST to import the metadata. Can anybody tell me how to get new backing beans into WebCenter Spaces?
I cant be the only one who has had to do this.
    Thanks.

I don't know if you can import as part of the metadata import but an alternative will be to create a shared library out of your java classes and referencing the shared lib in spaces.

  • Can anybody recommend a flash gallery creator

I am building a dreamweaver website for someone and I am only a novice. They want a 'carousel' / 'photoflow' gallery that displays their images never ending, that pauses when the mouse hovers over and rotates slowly.
Captions need to be displayed over the photos. Some photos are landscape, others portrait.
I must have tried about 30 free trials/free programmes but I am not having much luck, i have literally spent hours trying to do this and I want to cry..
I find a reasonable one but its either too expensive or if its free it has a watermark or a link I must put in which I can't have!
I'd like a drag and drop type wizard as I don't understand this xml/js business that keeps popping up.
Importantly I need it so that when the 'gallery' is generated it exports as a swf file (with all the images embedded)
Can anyone help recommend a programme that fulfills my needs?? Or I am being stupid is assuming I can find something for cheap... I don't mind buying a programme but if i do, i cant afford more than £25-£30 at most.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
I am using the jackasylum cover flow one after looking at the others, it seemed what I was after. So excellent, thank you!
Just a quick couple of questions thougt, have you ever used that? I am having trouble, it will display on a Galaxy S2 for eg but won't 'run' on it and also more annoyingly I can't seem to change the size of the 'coverflow' ( i have changed the image sizes but it made the 'coverflow' no bigger and I can't see anything in the CSS.. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas? Bit of a long shot i know but you never know, someone might understand the css a bit better..

  • Trying to incorporate bridge web gallery into GoLive page

All thoughts are so welcome. I'm trying to update my GoLive site with a Bridge web gallery. I've seen a tutorial or two about doing this in DW, but not my beloved GoLive. Any wisdom would be so appreciated!

The DW tutorials probably apply to GoLive as well. You're going to need to get your hands a little dirty with HTML to mix web pages.

  • How to incorporate swf flash files into dreamweaver

    Hi,
In my index.html I have a table with some flash buttons and
    movies in.
I have linked directly to the swf, and when previewed it
works fine. When I upload it to my host server the html page
appears blank with no flash movies.
So do I have to point to the flash html file? insead of
    directl to the swf?
    Thanks

It's not OK. It won't work at all.
