Can i increase the Item Number Length ?

Is it possible to increase the length of the item number in Item Master from 20 Char to say 40 Char?

Unfortunately what you are asking is not possible nowadays. Don´t know if in new versions is planned to increase it.

How can I find the item number?

Good day everyone!
If I have a drop down list and want to find the number of the selected item, how do I work it out?
The boundItem method gives me the current data value, but I need the item number. The mission is to add instances to another drop down list with child nodes of the value chosen in the first drop down list.
I've tried out the currentRecordNumber property, but I can't make it work. In Adobe XML Form object Model Reference they puts up
xfa.dataWindow.currentRecordNumber
but without any further reference to the current dropdownlist in that code, I don't understand how it works.
Please help me out.

I still don't get it right though after trying different methods over and over again and I therefore have two questions. 1) Why do you use the getElement method to get an attribute? It would make more sense to me if you suggested the getAttribute method instead. Now, I have been trying out some different combinations of these two methods with the @ symbol, but without success. The getAttribute is described both in this forum and in the Adobe XML Form Object Model 2.2 Reference, but always in combination with recordSet. The recordSet object is a part of the sourceSet model which is used in OLEDB connections. I don't use that and wonder if I could use the getAttribute solely on the dataValue itself. I didn’t find any configuration you can set to increase the number. I think it is related UI. The number is designed programmatically.

How to increase the check number length from 13 to 15( PAYR-CHECT)

Dear Experts,
I have the requirement to increase the check number (chekt) length from 13 to 15. Bcz few vendors UTR number generating with 15 degits in the the bank which are updating as check number in our system. But payr-chect (check number field ) length is 13 , so it is not getting updated. so customer wants to increase the length from 13 to 15.

How can I increase the viewable filename length on the desktop?

Is it possible to increase the character length of the viewable filename items on the desktop? For example, if I create a screenshot, the filename for the generated image is: "Screen shot yyyy-mm-dd at XX.XX.XX AM.png" but the desktop shows "Screen shot yyyy...M.png." I would like to increase the filename character count so that more of the filename appears before it is trimmed with the ellipses.
Can this be done?
Update: I have alredy increased the grid spacing. That helps but only exposes 2-3 more chars.

Can you increase the viewable filename length in pages 'grid view' so the full name of the file is shown and not ellipses.

I am aware of the terminal command which allows you to view more of the file name for files located on the desktop. Is there something similar for pages?
The problem is only apparent in grid mode.

For all of Apple's perfection for design and intuition, this is always something they seem to have neglected.

You can either hover your mouse over the filename for a second and the full name will appear, or revert to list view.

What database are you working on ?? Make sure stats are updated. This phase has lot to do on the DB part. So analyse more from DB perspective.
Most important thing is check if you are using parallel import property of R3trans as per SAPnote # 1127194.

Check Mail Preferences, Accounts tab. Select the account, then the Mailbox Behaviors tab. See if you have it set to Permanently erase deleted messages when: One week old. (or less)
