Can I insert a page break but carry on on the same page?

I need to insert a section break in order to have the footnoting restart again, but I don't want any blank space. I want to insert a single footnote using an asterix that relates to the first footnote entry but then restart the footnoting using numbers, at 1, from the next point, and to have that asterix and then the 1 on consecutive lines at the base of the first page. As far as I can see the provision to restart footnoting like this applies only to sections and when i insert a section break the next block of text after it shofts down to the start of a new page, which defeats me. Would be grateful for some advice. Thanks.

Hi Damien,
Pages will not let you mix footnote symbols within a section. You will have to cheat, do some tedious editing and have lots of patience. Or use another app.
"Blah blah" has a footnote inserted (in reality, Footnote 1). Type * before the 1. Go to the footnote, delete the 1 and type *
"More blah" has is in reality Footnote 2. Type 1 before the 2. Set the 1 as superscript. Go to the footnote, delete the 2 and type 1.
Now, back in the text, set the colour of the real footnote numbers to white:

I wanted to create 4 columns on the page layout. These 4 columns are of page contents.
After creating new web page based on that page layout, I attempted to enter 4 different inputs on all 4 columns.
Then, the result (from all columns) becomes the same.

First, I copied the HTML snippet for the Page Content on Sharepoint's Design Manger. The code of Page Content HTML snippet is shown below:

After I published the page layout, I found the code for Page Content from its ASPX page. The code is shown below:

The 4 columns for Page Contents appeared on the web page when I created new page using that page layout. But the problem is that all 4 columns displayed the same result from 4th column.

How can I insert an existing ApDiv into a tab in the Spry Tabbed Panel?

I have 5 of them all containing nested Apdiv within nested ApDivs (a long storie ) that I would like to insert into 5 tabs in the Spry Tabbed Panel.
Please help.

You have really made hard work for yourself by using APDiv's. I suppose it can be done, but I would not. To answer your question, I have create an example as per#apDiv1

I can't get my projects in Final Cut Pro X to work in 1080p. One turned out to be 1080p by "accident" but I did everything the same as the ones that did not. Same camera/settings (shot in 60i). I didn't really care cause I had to get some stuff done, but now I know I "can" dp them in HD but can't figure why the one went up to YT in full HD (and made a copy in my movies folder. That one project acted totally different than the other 5 but I didn't change anything. Can't get it to work again. ***? Any ideas?

No problem! If you're worried about more complicated edits (which in all honesty, should work no matter how many clips you select or how many effects are attached to them), you can always compound a clip first, and then copy it over after if you're afraid of lots of track clutter getting in the way. Not sure if they would break apart afterwards though if you wanted them to.

I think I had it on the iCloud, I just changed computers and had part of my old computer backed up, where are the default iTunes info saved like the pictures and I know my contacts were backed up cuz I kept getting updated stuff that I wasn't sure about, but it was contacts where some belonged to my wife's contacts....but anyway, if the cloud backed up contacts, it should have grabbed pictures too? Like I asked before, if they were backed up to the computer, is there a default iTunes folder they are saved to? I had a crap load of pictures on there that I usually could really access if I was connected to wi-fi. I turned off my data stuff as I only have 4GB and between me and my 2 kids, we seemed to use up a lot of it. My son would play music from Pandora during work, and use up all our data til I limited him to only 3GB, my daughter and I barely used 1GB. Anyway, thanks to everybody that is answering. I thought I might have done good finding the dang sim card, but pointless I guess.

You have a number of things that will make this not work.
Your mailto link is not the way to go, take a look at this and it should get you on the right path.

On your action page, you can have it give the thank you message that you want. Having a seperate page saying they forgot to do something complicates matters more than you might wish at this point, and usually irritates people. however if you decide you want to go that way, look up "sticky forms". What this does is re-populate the fields when they have to go back to correct.
A better way would be to validate the information, you can use Spry if you want which is built into dreamweaver.
You also have in your html form this
enctype="multipart/form-data"
That is used for sending files, and since you are not, the form would not work, so you want to remove it.
Hopefully that will give you a starting point.

You'll have to have an ID you all share in order to have a shared iCloud account. It would be sensible for each person to have their own ID and their own iCloud account for email and their own data (each would be on their own computer/iOS device or user account on a Mac) and then have a common account which everyone would sign into in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars to access shared data.
You don't want to be all using the email in a common account - if people are using email aliases remember these can't be detached from the account and transferred to another one. Having all your emails mixed up together can be somewhat impracticable.

Thank you Joe - I tried this but it's only showing a teensy amount of music - the stuff on the second users account as opposed to the giagntic library on the 'main' account. I actually went to a Genius Bar and they said that apple doesn't really want you to share music between accounts - parents don't want to hear their kids music etc. Which seemed strange, but it might be the case sadly Thanks anyway!

I think the issue is that iTunes (for whatever reason) thinks I have two Apple ID's.
also, to further complicate the issue, when i try updating the apps from my iPod the iTunes store is still recognizing my old hotmail Apple ID. So when I go to enter my password it won't accept because it doesn't match with the old Apple ID, even though it is the same account (just new Apple ID name).
I have tried signing out within the App Store and re-signing in with my Apple ID but it still brings up my old Apple ID name when I try to update.

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account. Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices. You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

If you just got it back and it isn't fixed or something else is wrong with it take it back and have them do the repair correctly.
