Yes if you want you can use that ,But after installing that OS on your PC you have to delete those VENDOR files. Two or Three VENDOR .XML may be there ,the location to those Vendor .XML files can be found here :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML.

Also we have the client console on the laptop, but it looks very basic. My understanding is that it's supposed to be able to download sales details before going on the road, is that correct, or have I misunderstood something?.

Can I install JSF 1.2 into Glassfish 3.0?

Glassfish v3 was released today!!! YAY! Servlet 3.0!
However our company is heavy into JSF 1.2 (via Facelets and Richfaces) and we cannot migrate to JSF 2.0 for a couple months. And before we can really use JSF 2.0 we need Richfaces 4.0 to be released as well.
So what we basically need is Glassfish v3 with the previous version of JSF.
Any help on how to do this?

Yes, you can use JSF 1.2 with V3, but you have to do some extra work to do so.
First, each 1.2-based application that you wish to deploy to V3 will need to include the
JSF 1.2 libraries (i.e. you can't install them globally).
Secondly, each 1.2-based application will need to include a sun-web.xml in
the WEB-INF directory of said application. The contents of the sun-web.xml
should be:

There is no version of Firefox mobile for 3.6. You can try using the Phony extension and in the preferences set the User Agent setting to 'Desktop Firefox'.

500GB 7200RPM HD - Can't install "Hard Drive Firmware Update 2.0"

I installed a 500 GB - 7200 RPM HD and put a fresh install of 10.5.8 and am having the issues described in:

The main issue is the periodic freezing. About every 20 minutes (sometimes as often as every 5 min) my computer completely freezes. I get the beach ball and the freezing lasts for anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute. My mouse usually responds, but I am unable to perform any task.
I downloaded the Hard Drive Firmware Update 2.0 ( http://support.apple.com/downloads/HardDrive_Firmware_Update_20 ) which looks like it would fix the problem, but when I try to install it - I immediately get an alert of "This computer does not need this update."
I'm guessing that the update checks for a Macbook Pro (which the model I have was later renamed to) - but my computer is reporting itself as a Macbook - so the update doesn't think my computer needs the update.
Has anyone had the same issue - and if so, is there any way I can install this update?

How can I install Windows 7 Pro intoa pre-installed Windows 8.1 Envy 23?

Hello...I HATE 8.1...but I saw your marvelous driver list for a laptop, and was wondering if it is similar for a HP Desktop when removing windows 8.1. I've already asked HP for help, but they, alas, are not 'able' to tell me I can even load Windows 7 on the Envy 23. Very nice people, but very limited in information.
I have managed to locate 2 brand new copies of Windows 7 Pro software, plus have one on hand...obviously, until Windows understands that the world does not like phone apps on a computer, we will be needing backup copies!!!
My brand new mess is a HP Envy 23 that I just purchased last Sunday, and detest thoroughly.
I have gotten the backup USB, just in case, but other than wiping the disk (if I can), and changing the boot order (If I will be allowed), and of course, eliminating any extra platforms I might find If that can be done)...what will I need to save from the 8.1 install to make the bits andpieces, likes sound, and color, and whatever work?
And what on earth is UEFI?

Trying to downgrade your system to would probably void your warranty and provide a challenge trying to find drivers that would work in Windows 7, a real headache.
Should you wish to go that route you would have to disable Secure boot and enable Legacy in order to change the boot order.
It may be easier to keep what you have and make Windows 8 look and feel like Windows 7

Apache's newsgroup would have been a better place to ask this question. Anyways
          here's the thing you need to do:
          The DSO (Dynamic Shared Object) support in Apache is based on a module named
          mod_so.c
          which needs to be enabled before mod_wl.so is loaded. To enable mod_so.c follow
          the instructions
          included with the distribution of Apache to manually configure Apache with the
          following parameters:
          ./configure --prefix=<destination directory>
          --enable-module=so
          --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE
          Continue following the Apache installation instructions to make and install
          Apache.
          This is also explained in the "Installing the Apache-WebLogic Server Plug-in"
          document. Also
          refer to the installtion documents for Apache.

You should review the Apache documentation. It appears that you need to
build apache with shared object support -- this is typically called dso
I believe.

I can't install the new firmware update 1.0.1

Although I downloaded the firmware from the apple download site, it doesn't install. I followed the steps as the previous firmware, from the point when the power light flashing I hear the hard drive noise then the grey screen , then instead of firmware progress the notebook boots itself.
I tried it 5 times now and still no joy.. Any ideas?

Ok, I even put in the OS X install disk to repair the startup disk (the f: drive whatever/the os x partition) and everything checked out, no errors. I then try to run the firmware updater again and it's a no go, I see the lights, I hear the beep, then a folder comes up w/ a ? mark three times then the Apple logo comes on. Sometimes it's only the folder once. I've tried several times. It won't even let me do a firmware restoration because I think it's stuck thinking it needs to do the update. Ideas?

Can I install a 200GB HD into my G4 Quicksilver?

I have a 933MHz G4 Quicksilver with a 60GB PATA drive. I replaced the drive today with a Maxtor 200GB Ultra ATA/133 drive. But my Mac only has Ultra ATA/66 and I am worried that my drive may crash one day because I have exceeded the 128GB limit. But when I initialize the drive it shows 189GB formatted and the 'Verify Disk' command in the Disk Utility did not return any errors and the computer seems to be working fine. Will the drive just stop when I reach the 128GB limit or will it actually crash and destroy all my data? Would it be better if I partitioned it with two 100GB partitions instead? TIA - Eric

Eric, excuse me for not getting back to you earlier, and for not being more precise in my answer, but no your computer will not crash when you exceed the 128 limit, and no it will not stop at 128. I meant if your boot Rom was any other version, it does not have such support and has the drive size limitation. Some QS Macs have the support, some don't. The Boot ROM version is the key to finding out. But yours does support the larger HD and that is why you are able to see the entire drive, unlike Macofthefuture he was only able to format the first 128 because he does have the logic board limit. My only explanation is maybe that you have a later 2002 release date.
With that said, the ATA card will not give you more HD space or prevent any future crashes or data destruction.
You can also do a search of "Quicksilver hard drive limitation" above because there have been other like you that have posted here who are using larger HDs in QS without any third party support. Read here.

Can i install Garage Band Loods into Logic Pro X?

I just started using Logic Pro X. Based on the version of Garage Band on my iPhone I expected to find many more rock-oriented loops, drum kits and beats. Is this stuff only on iPhones? For example "60's Shuffle", "Bar Band Basic Drumset", "Brush Train Drumset", "Crowd Groove Drumset", "Funked Out Drumset", all this stuff and many many more loops should be in Logic Pro X Loops right?

I'm not sure how I did that, since I started with Logic 8, so my loops could be from 8, 9 or X, though I believe they do not really differ much between the versions. I believe Logic just takes the name of the folder(s) to get those dropdown names, but I'm not sure about that either. I'm also not sure if the GB loops are/were also installed if you never had GB installed, though that could well be.
So, all in all I'm pretty unsure, it seems.

PSE 11 was a 32 bit program while PSE 13 is 64 bit application.
you need to copy 64 bit plugin for this .
Please go to C:\Program Files\Google Or Nik \Nik Collection.
and here you will see different plugins for 64 bit application in different folders.
Copy these 64 bit plugis and paste it to
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13\Plug-Ins
