Perpetual versions you can and it possible to to activate them offline. Offline Activation
The Creative Cloud versions can be installed offline but you need an Internet connection to activate the installed applications, I also believe Adobe has recently made the Creative cloud desktop application an mandatory install. It need not be running at all times however it will be installed.

For Photoshop CC:
You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

I was told I could set a local network with the airport express, apple Tv, and my iPad to stream videos or pictures to a TV for a presentation.
No internet connection is available at the location.
Is that possible? Or do I need to access itunes homeshare with an internet connection to make this work?
I've set it up at home where I have an internet connection and it works fine but I want to move the setup to my church for a class. The data I'm using is stored on my ipad.
I know I can do this wired with the HDMI adapter but would like to do it wireless.

Ok so we now have a solution to the problem. A friend of mine came round to work this out with me last night and we were able to get it working, but it is not as easy as I had hoped. Fisrtly we plugged the airport express into my router using the ethernet cable (for this I am using an Airport Express Base Station") and in airport utilities selected the airport express. In edit, we then gave the airport express a new range of IP address which did not conflict with any of the other applications that I have already assigned. We also named the Airport Express with a distinguishable name. We then waited for the changes to be registered then unplugged the Airport Express from the router. I then plugged my AppleTV via HDMI into a tv to test it and selected the new wifi network with the new Airport Express distinguishable name. I was able to watch a video that I have on my ipad directly on my tv without being connected to the internet, and was able to play Airplay presentations.
No the easiest solution, and certainly not something that anyone at Apple has talked me through in my lengthy conversations with them at Applecare.

PSE and PRE have different serial numbers. If you bought both programs you should have two separate serial numbers.

Can't install Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 onto my iMac from CD

I can't install Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 onto my iMac I just purchased. The software is brand new, the CD appears to read fine. The instillation "on-screen" instructions are not popping up. I have had the software a minute, purchased it new but was waiting till I could afford an iMac. Any suggestions?

How are you using a CD with a new imac? They haven't had disc drives in years.
Try downloading from here and use the serial number from your boxed version:

However, there are a couple of other things to try. First of all, PSE 9 has both mac and windows discs. If the disc doesn't mount on the desktop, then you've got the wrong one. Go get the other one and when it appears on the desktop, double click it. Then double click Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, double click Install/Setup (can't remember which it was for PSE 9, sorry). There is no automatic install for PSE for mac, since macs have no autoplay function for security reasons, and there isn't any window with instructions, either. You just keep double clicking till it installs.

On my houseboat I have a wifi router and want to connect my phone to my computer to control my music which plays from my computer through my stereo. I can easily do it with my laptop without having to jump through any internet APPLE BS , but I dont want to have my laptop out on the deck. I just want to use the phone as a remote control.
Remote wont do it because it keeps saying Im not connected to the internet, even though is is connected to my computer. Same problem with JumiAmp.

I recently acquired a HP ENVY Touchsmart 15 Notebook PC, which comes with Windows 8. I am currently attempting to transfer my programs from my old computer (which was Windows 7) to my new computer, which includes re-installing Adobe Photoshop CS5.
However, as this computer that I currently have doesn't have a CD drive (I was not aware of this as it was a gift), I am unable to put in the CS5 installation CD. I still have all of my licensing information, though. So, that leaves me with the following questions: Is it possible to install CS5 without a disc? And if so, does Windows 8 even support CS5?

Which OS are you using? Because there have been some issue with Win7 and PSE4. Try upgrading to PSE8.You can try the trial version of PSE8.

I do not know what you mean by manual/automatic. You need to set up a fixed IP Address that does not change each time your reboot or reconnect to the network.

If you want to watch on your iPad screen, you don't even need airplay.
If you want to watch on a television screen, you need an AppleTV.
In both cases...
If the movies are purchased, there is no need for an Internet connection to the outside world. If they're rented, you need an Internet connection for the first minute or so that Apple knows that you're watching the movie. I do not know if a rented movie can be stopped and restarted without an Internet connection.

How can I install Adobe Photoshop Elements Update 9.0.3 after I get a message that Installation has failed and the solution is not in troubleshooting or forums?

My Photoshop Elements 9 stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I clicked the PSE button nothing happened. I tried this several times over a few days and it still failed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. It worked well. Then I tried to install the Update 9.0.3. The download was almost successful. When it was about to show 100% successful for the download, an error message said the installation had failed and that I should try later. I tried this many times over a few days and the same result occurred. I tried troubleshooting and the answers to questions, but I could not find an answer. I don't know where to go to see if anybody has answered my question. How can I install Update 9.0.3?

If you are lucky...
You could try coping the CD contents into your OS clipboard and paste it onto your destop. Run the setup.exe from this desktop folder. It's worth a try although I'm doubtful it's the answer. (Opera shouldn't be a factor...use it myself.)

Have you contact Adobe directly as you should yet? These forums are for user-to user help.
Adobe is practically free support too when you buy the products. I doubt they charge much at all for support with their products, you are paying more for a license to use the product commercially. The point is, even if someone managed to revser engineer a product, then sold it on for cheaper, if the product gets a fault or goes down, the person who modified it can't even help with that because the company that orignally made it would be the only ones lightly to know. Its not worth the risk at the end of the day. If you're going to get pirated coppies, get your monies worth and pay nothing....give you some more money to spend on the company when they sue you for it.
