I've installed CS5 (education version) in my desktop PC and recently bought a notebook. I want to install the CS5 in my notebook as well. Is it OK with my license?

As per the End User License Agreement, you can install the software on 2 machines at any instance.

Like any other program - double-click the setup.exe on the DVD. You merely have disabled auto-play on your system.

I can't install an older version of flash player and the new one won't work.

I've read on the boards everyone says to run the Adobe uninstaller prior to trying to install the older version and I did, but the download still says it can't install the older version because it isn't the current version. And the current version isn't running on my computer. All I have is a black screen. I need the adobe flash player to for work purposes and it is really hindering my ability to function at work without it. Can someone please provide some kind of help that may actually work? Because I've uninstalled and reinstalled this several times. I have tried adjusting settings...everything I have found on the boards so far.

My experience (going back to a G5 iMac in 2005) is that you MUST install the lower version first in order to run two different versions on the same machine. I did it that way with CS and CS3, then CS3 and CS4, and later on my MacBook with CS4 and CS5. Now my Mini has CS5.5 and CS6, but I've always had to install the lower CS version first or the higher would keep the lower from installing.
So you will probably have to remove CS4 and then reinstall them both in the proper order.
Is there any particular reason you want or need both? In my case, I already had CS 3 and installed CS4 in addition, but later removed CS3 as I found CS4 was able to do everything CS3 did and then some. In fact I'm unaware of anything aside from some older filters that would run better in CS3 than CS4.

I can't install CS5.5 master collection on windows 7

Dear,
I can't install CS5.5 master collection trial on my windows 7 desktop,
it allways get stock when installing adobe help (7%) or adobe story (25%).
I unintall and reintall 5 times, I never get beyond 25%.
I also tried to use your offical clearn tool, don't work.
clearn all regs, don't work.
clearn all remmain files, don't work.

I update to Windows 7 SP1 and run the installation download from adobe download assistant, but still get stuck on installing adobe help and adobe dreamweaver widget browser.
After that, I think maybe my file has some error during the download process, so I re-download from direct link in this article:

In first installation, with anti-virus and firewall closed, I still get stuck on adobe help : (
So I try to install under windows safe mode (without internet connection and commend window), this work !
Although I got a DW050 error, but I think that is because I interrupt the install process earlier.
I'll try to install all software in the master collection suite tomorrow. (I just install acrobat, PS, AI, indesign, flash, DW and fireworks, in oder to make the process quickly)
And I have another question,
I saw some software have 32 and 64 bit in the installation file in the direct link I provided.
Do I have to install both version or just install my windows version (64 bit only) ?

Can I transfer the education version of Lightroom 4 from the old computer to my new computer, or will I have to purchase a new version of lightroom?
Lightroom would then be removed from the old computer.

Tthe Lr licence allows you to install it on two computers at any one time. If you need to have it on both, that's okay.

Please give more details. Are you upgrading from one version of Photoshop to another? What is the original Photoshop version? What version of Photoshop CS 5 are you trying to install? You will need in this case both the serial number of the version you just purchased as well as the older version's serial number. At which stage are you getting the serial number error?
Where did you purchase CS5 Photoshop? You can check to see your old serial number is correct by looking in your Adobe Account on the Adobe.com website if you registered your older version.

If it gets far enough to reject your serial number, it won't help to download it. It must have installed ok.
What is the message you get (DON'T tell us the serial number!!)?
Does it mention a "qualifying product" by any chance?

Can I install an OEM version of Windows 7 on my Mac?

I am completely unfamiliar with windows terminology. I ordered a copy of Windows 7 64-bit and when it came it said OEM on it and had all these warnings that it had to be preinstalled on a computer and I assumed it was like the software that comes with a Mac that you can only install on that one machine. I returned it unopened because I was afraid it wouldn't work. Since then I've read on these boards that OEM is a system builder, and it's cheaper, which is why I got it, and can only be used on one machine. But it sounds like I could install it on one Mac. I don't really care about installing it on more than one machine. So my question is, is that correct? can I install an OEM version of Windows 7 on one Mac? I wanted to check, because although it's cheaper, it's still almost $100 and I didn't want to waste that if I opened it and it didn't work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I plan to use parallels by the way, but I am posting on this board because it was suggested that you folks know the most about windows.
