Can I install CS6 to 3 of my computers with the same registration

I am going to install CS6 using the same registration number to my laptop and another spare computer. How do I know if my CS6 can be used for multiple computers.
Thanks

No.
The license is for one user and two (2) computers that are not used at the same time.
If you try three installations, the third one will NOT activate and become inoperative.

  • Can you install an app in two different ipads with the same apple id ?

i have an apple id and my friend couldnt upload google earth so I shared him my apple id and password but it appeArs as if it was already downloaded but I dont have it downloaded and neither dies he

Do a search on the iPad that you downloaded it onto.
Swipe to the right from the home screen and Type "Google Earth" (no quotation marks) in the search field at the top. See if it appears.
Restart the iPad and see if the app appears.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • Can i install windows 7 and OS X together on the same Mac Book Pro?

can i install windows 7 and OS X together on the same Mac Book Pro?

You can do it either using Boot Camp or by running a virtual machine, such as Parallels Desktop (which I use) or VMFusion. I prefer the VM method, as I don't have to reboot using the handful of Windows applications that I use. And I can access my Windows apps just as I do my Mac apps - copy and paste between them, etc.
I just upgraded from Parallels 7 to 8 and I'm quite happy with it, running Mountain Lion on a late 2011 MBP with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. I also have a 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display and there are no problems with video drivers, etc.
If I were you - unless I needed every inch of performance that running Boot Camp can bring - I'd go with a VM to run Windows. I can attest to the functionality of Parallels - perhaps others with experience with other VMs will chime in.

  • Can I have an iPhone, ipad and MacBook Pro with the same apple id

Can I have an iPhone, ipad and MacBook Pro with the same apple id. When I use I tunes it get confusing and I have a paid app that needs the same id

When syncing the iPhone and iPad with iTunes on your computer that is logged in with the Apple ID you plan on using on all three, the Apple ID should be transferred to the iPhone and iPad for the iTunes & App Stores on each device. If not, you'll need to sign out of the existing Apple ID on the iPhone and iPad followed by signing in with the Apple ID you want to use on both.
Keep in mind that all 3rd party apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account or Apple ID that was used to download the apps. With an app installed on your iPad and iPhone that was downloaded with a different Apple ID from the one you will be using now, you will need to use that Apple ID and password to install app updates for those apps. Not possible to transfer apps purchased with one Apple ID to another or to merge Apple IDs.

According to apple's licence agreement you can only install it on one machine. The 10.6 family pack which has 5 license is also available.

Can I use two separate computers with the same adobe ID.  I want to update my kobo from either unit

I doubt it is possible to run two instances of iTunes on the computer at the same time.  To do so would require two users to be signed in and running iTunes under each user.
The better solution would be to either clean up and merge the two libraries or have iTunes running on a second computer.

  • Can I install CS6 for both Mac and PC with same license?

I have made my first installation to Mac and it's visible in my purchases. I tried to download CS6 to my PC but it didn't accept the same product serial number.
How can I install CS6 to PC also?

You can't. Standalone serial numbers are platform specific. Only Creative Cloud is cross-platform.

  • When I try to install some plugins I get "Can't find Internet Plug-ins folder". Friends with the same machine using the same browser can download just fine.  What gives?

When I try to install a plugin in any browser on my Mac Mini or my MacBook Pro, I get a "Can't find Internet Plug-Ins folder" message.  Other friends with the same machines can install the plugin just fine.  We can't find any reason why the plugin won't install on mine.  Any ideas out there?
    Thanks,

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins

Does the dialog show "You can only read" in the Sharing & Permissions section?
In the General section, is the box labeled Locked checked?
    What is the Modified date?

  • Can I use multiple computers with the same iPod?

Hello all, I own a desktop computer, and just recently bought my first laptop. I have iTunes already installed and my iPod synced on the desktop. Now I just installed iTunes on the laptop, and want to sync the iPod on the laptop also, so I can have two computers synced with the same iPod. Can that be done? Any info is greatly appeciated, thank you.

    what Niel said is correct.
however, there might be a (semi) workaround. check this thread for pointers: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11524444#11524444.

  • Can i have my itunes library on 2 computers at the same?

i have a burning question thats needs a very thorough explination. i want my itunes library on my desktop and laptop so when i'm on my desktop i can listen to it on there and when i'm out and about i can listen to it on my laptop. if this possible can someone explain to me how it's done as i don't want to acidently wipe my library if you know what i mean.
thanks for all your comments in advance.

I hope you don't mind me throwing a curve ball into this discussion... It should be a fairly simple matter to copy your library from one computer to the other. The tricky bit is keeping the two copies up to date with each other. I've written about this before, primarily with a view to being able to update devices from each computer, so perhaps this will be useful to you too.
    Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers
Although it isn't possible to sync an Apple device with two different libraries it is possible to sync with the same logical library from multiple computers. Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. If they are the same you can go ahead and sync...
I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans with iTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organised within an Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organised) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.
In your case you could use a shared folder on one computer in place of the external drive, but you could use the SyncToy tool to keep the two folders in sync with each other rather than trying to do that part by hand which is almost impossible...

  • Why can't I upload Adobe CS3 on another Mac with the same operating system 10.5.8?

I purchased a MacBook Pro in 2008 and had it installed with Adobe CS3 at the Apple Store. I don't believe I was given any CDs or serial numbers to take home. I still have all the documentation for my other programs I installed myself, like Logic, Final Cut, etc. and those installed fine on my new Mac desktop computer, with the same operating system (10.5.8) as my MacBook. For whatever reason, I don't have the documenation for CS3, but I was able to download a serial number finder and locate the serial number for my version of CS3. But when I enter that serial number into the new computer, Adobe says the serial number is invalid. I thought standard licenses allowed for 2 computers (home/work) per serial number. This is the first computer I've tried to install CS3 on so it seems I should have no problem. Any help here? I'm on a ticking clock because my MacBook could crash any day and I need to get the programs switched over to my new computer. I appreciate any help.
    Thanks,
    Gerald

Why can't I setup more than one ipod with the same e-mail account?

  • HT1657 Can I transfer a standard definition rental between two computers with the same account?

So, I rented a movie on my work computer and haven't had time to watch it just yet and it's expiring in 4 days. So, naturally, reading the documentation here that says the following:
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
I moved the rental to my MacBook Pro, expecting to be able to watch it there. However, when I add it to my iTunes library on my MBP (with the same iTunes account), I get an error saying that it isn't authorized to play the content.
What's the deal? Am I missing something, or doesn't it seem like I should be able to transfer it between computers? Do I need to delete the one off my work computer first?

Sorry but no. Rentals cannot be transferred from one computer to another. As the instructions said, you can only move a rental from a computer to a iOS-based device or back from that device to the computer on which the rental was first downloaded.
