on centos 5 ?I'm not sure what you're asking: The simplest way to deploy E-Business Suite R12 on Oracle VM is to download and use the E-Business Suite R12 templates from E-Delivery. Keep in mind that CentOS is not a certified Oracle platform, so you may not get complete support. We also do not certify E-Business Suite on CentOS on Oracle VM.

    Hi,
Hello Can I install ebusiness suite release 12 on centos 5 and in that i install vmware ? CentOS is not certified as an application/database tier nodes, so you will have to go with one of the certified OS as per (Note: 761564.1 - Oracle Applications Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Linux x86).
The download is from edelivery.oracle.com.. Is installing vmware compulsory..and if i install
vmware is it compulsory that i have to use Only Oracle vmIf you use Oracle VM you do not have to use VMWare and (you need to use one of the two softwares to have Oracle Apps installed on the guest OS) -- See the following links/docs for details.

What does the message say, exactly?
    Try this:
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Computer:
Double-click your hard disk icon. It is usually named "Macintosh HD":
    Look for this folder:
If it appears in that window, drag it to the Trash.

    Hi all.
Can I install Mac OS X Leopard (not the server version) on a Xserve and run BootCamp (to use Windows), and other Mac applications like FileMaker, Toast, iWork, e.g.?
    Thanks in advance.

Can I install Mac OS X Leopard (not the server version) on a Xserve
Yes, but some functions may not work as intended. See here for some information; all Mac OS X 10.5 installations are universal binary.
and run BootCamp (to use Windows)
Probably not. Use a program such as Parallels Desktop.
and other Mac applications like FileMaker, Toast, iWork, e.g.?
    Yes.

  • I can't install flash player at all, not matter what browser is in !

    Hi
I have this annoying problem with my Flash Player, I can't install it no matter what i browser it is in. When eg. I have to play a video from youtube, I can't use IE (Internet Explorer) to play it in, but in Googles Chrome and in Mozillas Firefox, there it works without any problem.
Another problem is also when I am going into www.adobe.com in IE, then it says - For the complete experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser. Thank you! , the script is active in the internet settings, I have check, but it is still not working.
If I uninstall Flash Player totally, and I would like to  installed it again, I can't do it,, not matter what browser, it just stops, when iI try to install it . There is no problem installing or updating, Air, Shockwave. In this matter Flash Player will not cooperate at all, it will not let we installed it at all.

  • Can't install because of Administrator Password not working

Hi--I can't install anything because my administrator password is not accepted. I get a message that says something like this software requires Administrator or higher level privileges. I've checked it under "Accounts" in System Preferences. I've even changed it there, then changed it back, and I still get the same message. Help!! Janet

First off, what OS version are you running?
Second, are you saying that the installer application or something else is rejecting your password, or doesn't give you an opportunity to enter it? Where are you trying to install something, & what is it?
You should see a dialog box asking for your password with info about what app is asking for authentication, or at least be able to tell us what app is running (from its name appearing next to the Apple logo in the menu bar).
Depending on your situation, a permissions repair in Disk Utility may help.

  • Can't install Mountain Lion...not journaled

My computer completely died last week. It was loading up to the apple logo and stopping there. On occasion Command+V worked, and I could get the desktop to load. But recently it just stopped working. I figured doing a clean install would help so I erased everything on my "Mac HD" drive and tried to reinstall Mountain Lion.
The download went successful up until it started installing onto the disk. This is when an error came up.  It says "Cannot install on "Mac HD"; disk not journaled...try "Mac HD" file>enable journaling from disk utility". So it loaded into the recovery screen and I opened the disk utility and tried to journal "mac HD". Unfortunately, the "enable journaling" could not be clicked and I could not erase the disk to reformat it to be journaled, it kept saying "Mac HD could not be unmounted". I looked further into this drive that I formated earlier, and it looks like it is now "read only" and it "cannot be written to".
I tried using terminal to erase the disk as well as to enable journaling, but it did not work. I'm writing this all from the recovery console that comes up after the OS X installation fails.
I'm afraid I've exhausted all options. How can I enable journaling and make this installation work? It looks like the hard drive is read only, and I have no idea how to enable it to be read and write through terminal and the other limited resources given through this recovery console.

So I got my computer to work!
I booted from my external harddrive, and formatted the internal one so it was journaled and whatnot. I ran the verify and repair thing on it multiple times and then installed lion.
Everything seems to be working at the moment. I'll update to mountain lion soon before I install all the random apps I have. I feel like I had a temperature sensor application that was messing with system files it should not have been. I'll keep you updated on how long this lasts.... hopefully till a retina air comes out... I'm due for a graduation present anyways
    on to study for finals!

  • Can you install the new Bootcamp and NOT install 10.5?

I have a laptop that I use to do page layout. It took FOREVER to get my print output settings in quark, photoshop, etc just right.
I am currently running the old bootcamp beta. I need to install the new version of bootcamp and its drivers so I can run updates to my Windows partition. I DONT want to install OSX 10.5. Can I install bootcamp and not install 10.5 or am I stuck?

    Jason:
The only way that I know to get the boot camp 2.0 drivers is from the Leopard Installation Disk. You indicated that you want to keep Tiger installed. You also indicated that you have the beta version of boot camp already running. You are in a good situation to update to 2.0 boot camp drivers.
The catch? You will still need the Leopard Installation Disk as you will need to insert that while booted in Windows to start and finish the update process. All of the necessary drivers are on the Leopard CD.
I have a Leopard Installation disk, then simply boot into Windows and get to the Windows desktop. Insert the Leopard installation disk and it will begin updating the drivers. You can leave the Tiger partition as is.

  • HELP Can't install windows 7, drive is not mbr

Hi all! Here's the thing. I wanted to install windows 8 on my 27" iMac. I partitionned my drive with boot camp, installed windowsm everything went great. My partition is a 30gb partition. I then added a third partition (I'm used to do this, all my work files are there in a safe place.) Once windows was installed, it kept saying not enough space... Found out that windows 8 x64 takes a whole 30gb installation!!!! I just couldn't beleive it!
Seems that Windows 7 install is much less. I booted in my win7 install USB key, formated the drive and tried to install. Now it says that the drive isn't in MBR.
Is there a way to install it anyways?
Some suggest to use winclone. I made a clone of Windows 7 off my other iMac and tried to copy that image file.
I thought it would be perfect but, now it says that the drive must me disk0s4, mine is disk06 because of the EFI partition.
Please help out! I'm at a dead end!

Okay, I'll bring it home this weekend, Make an image of my first partition with my apps installed, and a second image with my work files. Back all that up to an external HD
I'll erase all partitions and reset it as one.
    Install OS X.
Partition my drive with bootcamp (60gb).
    Install Windoze.
After I'll partition my OSX partition in two with Disk Utility so I'll have 3 patitions in all.
HD 1 = Apps home folder etc...
    Bootcamp = Windoze
    HD 2 = Work files.
    Will that work?
If I'm not satisfied with windows 7, can I erase that partition (not delete it) with the windows install DVD and install windows 8?
Thanks for your great help guys!

  • Can I install the traditional CS6 product (not creative cloud) on a mac and a windows pc?

    Hey,
I already know that with creative cloud I can install CS6 on both a mac and a windows pc.
But what about the traditional CS6 version (without creative cloud membership).
Is it possible to install on both mac and windows pc, too, or is it restricted to one operating system, like in CS5.5 still?

Traditional versions (perpetual licenses) are still platform specific: Windows only or Mac only.
Installation on both Mac and PC is one of the USPs (Unique Selling Propositions) of the Cloud versions.

  • Can I install SLD in NW04s if not available

    Hi,
We  upgraded NW04 - EP 600 to NW04s EP 700. Installation of EP 600 was done with no SLD. Now in NW04s we want to use the SLD. How can I use SLD.
In the Visual Administrator - SLD DataSupplier is - invalid and empty. Similarly http://sapep.otegroup.com:50000/sld shows - "SLD not configured configure SLD in administration first".
In the indentity management no LCR* matching roles available, like wise user and user groups matching SLD not available.
    Please guide me.

  • I download Firefox and can't install it. Get a "Not valid Win32 application." I get this with any program I want to install. I suspect a virus.

No program that has not been installed will linstall. No matter which I try, I always get "Not a valid Win32 application." I also clicked the "Automatic troubleshooting information," below, and it never stopped downloading so I was not able to go any further. It seems Windows must be fixed, somehow, but I have no idea about that. I tried to install both AVG and Avast anti-virus but it seems to be too late. Whatever I have prevents either of them from installing, too.
Nothing ever popped up, including a window with Allow. As the alternative, I don't see a Help>Troubleshooting Information, either.
