Can i install my apps on more than one product

I have recently bought an ipod touch and thinking of perhaps getting an ipad2 and another ipod for my granddaughter.
What I would like to know is when I buy apps, as I do at present, can these be installed on each device on a single purchase or do I have to make seperate purchases for each device. Each device will be registered on my own Apple account.

They can be installed on any device synced with that iTunes library for no additional charge.

really simple question and i'm sure the answer must be obvious but i can't find it anywhere!
if i buy an app from the app store, does that give me the right to install on an ipod touch AND an iphone, or only one?

  • Can you install paid apps on more than one ipad?

I currently have an iPad2 with paid apps on it. My company is wanting to buy me another ipad to use at work. If i own both iPads can I sync both devices with my computer?
    Or not?

They just both have to be logged on with the same Apple ID if you want to share apps without buying them again. You can even selectively maintain the apps. For example I have a Touch and iPad which share some of the same apps, but not all. And I can choose what goes on which one.

Can I install Design Standard on more than one computer?

Yes, your license provides for installing and activating the software on two machines.  Any application within the suite can only be in use on one of the machines at any given time.

can you install logic express on more than one computer ?

Be sure to read the End User Licensing Agreement for questions of this nature. You are allowed to install Logic on two computers that you own, for example an iMac and a MacBook Pro. You cannot, however, use the two computers at the same time if they are on the same network. You can use one computer as a Logic Node to shift some of the processing load (which you would likely do with an ethernet cable) but you don't need to have a full installation of Logic on the Node  machine, just the Logic Node installation. The idea of allowing two installations is so that you might take advantage of a portable  computer in the field for on-site recording then later transfer those files to a desktop studio set up for further editing.

  • Can I install photoshop cs5 on more than one computer, if "owned" by a different user?

I want to install my recently purchased photoshop cs5 on my macbook, as well as my imac. The only thing I worry about is that the macbook is in my name and the imac is technically in my dad's name, even though he only uses it to surf the web. The only reason he even bought the imac as opposed to anything else is so that I'd have a great place to edit photos. I really need it to be on both, will this work? Anyone have experience with this?

This is what I was able to dig out
May I use the software on more than one computer at a time?
The activation process supports installation on two machines. The Adobe product license agreement allows the primary user to install the product on a primary computer and also on a home or laptop computer for his or her use, provided that the two copies are not used simultaneously. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the second computer is restricted to the user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use a second copy of the software violates the product license agreement.

  • Can I have paid apps on more than one device and how?

This must have been answered before, but I wasn't sure how to search for it, so apologies in advance...
I have several Apple devices and I want to put the paid apps I have on one device on another as well. I would have assumed this was possible - perhaps via iTunes, but I can't see how to do it.
It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I restore from a previous device's backup (to the new device), or create a 'new' device.
So, for example, I have bought Air Display for my iPad mk1 and I now want to put it on my iPad mini as well. (I don't want to use them simultaneously.) The iPad mini is set up as a new device, so hasn't been restored from the iPad mk1's backup.
As another example, I have an iPhone 5 that I restored from an iPhone 4s backup. Most things were installed, but none of the paid apps came across and they're not listed in my iTunes library.
Do I have to buy them all again? Or am I doing something wrong? I would have assumed that they would be stored with my account details (all the devices are set up with the same Apple id).
    Many thanks.

It is possible, I have some of my apps on my iPad and iPhone (and some of them on an old iPod Touch). A backup doesn't contain the apps, just their contents and settings, so unless the actual apps are on your computer's iTunes then restoring to a backup won't copy them onto it.
You should be able to copy your apps (and other iTunes purchases so that you have copies of them and so that you can sync them either back to the same device if you ever need to restore it, or to other devices that you own) from the device that they are on to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases) and then sync them to the other devices (assuming that you have the relevant iOS version on them and the apps are compatible e.g. some apps are iPad-only, and some require full-phone capabilities so are iPhone-only). Or you can re-download them on your computer's iTunes and sync them or re-download them directly on the device that you want them on.
    Re-downloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Syncing apps : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1977 (if you have iTunes 11 on your comouter then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - that might make the instructions on that page easier to follow)

  • Can I install Creative Suite on more than one computer?

    Hi,
I have bought Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium, Student and Teacher Edition. I own an IMac and Macbook Pro. I have installed the Creative Suite onto my IMac. I have recently bought my Macbook Pro. Can I install the creative suite onto my Macbook as well as having it already installed on my IMac? I'll need to use both computers at the same time when running the programs in the creative suite.
    Thanks.

    Hi kglad,
Thanks for that. So I'm not supposed to use both at the same time, or am I not able to? Because I usually do use my laptop when travelling but often still have the same programs open on the laptop still while I jump onto my Imac and use the same programs.

  • Can I install mountain lion on more than one mac?

I have 2 Mac computers, do I have to buy Moutain Lion for both Macs to be able to upgrade them? Tried downloading it from the APP store on my second Macbook Pro and got an error 13.

You can use the single purchase for all your personal machines. I am not sure what that error is, are you sure the second machine is compatible with MTLion?
Perhaps the network is getting smashed at the moment from all the downloads.

  • Can I install Adobe Muse on more than one computer?

I have Adobe Muse on my computer and I want to be able to work on the same website I'm creating on my work computer also. Is there anyway I can do this without paying for 2 seperate accounts?

As mentioned in the http://www.adobe.com/products/muse/faq.html ,
    Q. On how many computers may I install my subscription edition software?
You may install a copy of Adobe Muse on your primary computer and one backup computer, as long as you do not use the software concurrently on both machines.
