Can I install Phone designer for all user?

I have phone designer application I install it on my PC but when I install it for anther user and give me error Unable to connected to server.
Is there any parameters needs to check on CUCM?
How many times can I install it?

You can install it as many times as you want. Ensure that either the cluster-wide parameter or the device-specific parameter is set to allow phone personalization. After that, if it works for you it will work in general; don't forget to enter the CCMCIP server address in the client.

How can I disable pdf.js for all users?

We as a company deal with a lot of PDF files.. Now while we can simply download the PDFs and there not be a problem, we're used to the Adobe Viewer and *not* downloading them.
I've been told the new pdf.js viewer will not display most of the PDFs we throw at it on a day to day basis.
Although there is a way to disable pdf.js (about:config), this only seems to change for the local user. We have FF 19 installed on terminal servers, and would like to know if there is a way to disable it for all users?

Install security updates for all users

I am using the a form with digital signatures fields, and when a user logs onto a pc and opens the form Adobe asks if you would like to install new security settings. I tell my user to click yes, but there are multiple users on multiple PCs that will be using this form. Is there a way to install this same setting for all users? I am using Adobe reader 9.3, and the form was deisgned with Designer. Any help would be very appreciated.

I extracted the contents of the .xpi file into the browsers\extensions folder using the extension ID, yet that doesn't seem to have done anything. I ran firefox after copying the uncompressed files with an administrator account with no luck. Any thoughts?

JWS installed client application for all users on one PC

For a PC (or Mac), Can one install a client application using Java Web Start & JNLP for all users on
that particular machine? If so, how do you do it?

This is a new feature in the 1.5 version of Java Web Start (seperate system cache) see:

Install Add-ons for All Users

Salutations!
I'm looking for a solution to install an add-on for all users. Specifically, we're using the Symantec PKI client (https://knowledge.verisign.com/support/mpki-support/index?page=content&id=SO27063&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US). The current version, as seen in the support page, has to be installed manually. the problem is, every time new user logs into the system with the latest version of the PKI client installed, this webpage will pop up, annoying users. As a workaround to this issue, I'm looking to install the add-on linked in on the support page and have it enabled for all users by default.

Any assistance would be appreciated! The version of firefox that I attempted the solution in was version 35.0.1, but most of our systems are running in the ESR channel, version 31.4.0.

P.S. I've added the troubleshooting information, but my workstation is fairly unique, so I'm not sure if it'll be very applicable to most of the systems in our environment.

How to install an extension for "all users"

I want to install a quantity of extensions for ALL users of FF on a PC running XP. There used to be a way of doing this but I have forgotten the method.
I know to save the .xpi file for each extension, and that there is some folder in a common area where these files are placed so that each User gets them installed the next time they run FF

How can i delete keychain data for all users on my Mac Server?

We have 2 Mac servers on our windows network and user passwords change every 30 days to keep up with security. How can i stop keychain asking for the users old passwords or get it to update with the change of password?

First you have to create a new folder or 2/3, om My Mac... Mail>Mailbox>New Mailbox...> Loacation>On My Mac.
Highlight the eMails & drag to the new box(es), if IMAP Mail will try downlodaing them again.
If POP & Remove fron Server when downloaded it won't.
Quit Mail after the move, log into gMail Webmail via a browser & delete what you wish.
PS. Even though you delete everything in gMail, google keeps copies for themselves & the NSA, just you cannot see them.

Font Book. Can you make Font Collections for all users?

I set up a few font collections. Now when I login as another user, these font collections are not available. Each user seems to have to set up their own collections.
Is there any way to set up font collections that all users may be able to access?
This would be handy if all the users wanted the same collections. Is this possible?

If you just edit the skeleton file for <code>.xinitrc</code>, then for each user that is created, it will automatically be set to run xfce. The location of the file is <code>/etc/skel/.xinitrc</code> if that answers your question.

Problems installing flash player for all users on a computer (domain)

Hi all,
I've had a quick search but have unfortunately not found any answers.
I've just setup a new image using WDS to install 55 new Dell computers. Flash player was installed as part of this image, the problem i'm getting is that if I log in as a domain administrator I can run flash fine with no problems, however if I log in as a domain user, and try to visit any site that requires flash, i can't seem to view any flash content.
When logged in as the domain user and navigate to control panel I can see the "Flash player settings" option and when I view installed software I an see that flash player 11 is installed.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be? - Do you require admin rights to view flash files?
Any help would be extremely grateful!

It might be a permission problem in the Flash Player install folder. Try a clean install on the original machine.
If that does not resolve your problem, can you tell what Windows version & edition you are using?
Also check the permissions of all files in
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\Syswow64\Macromed\Flash

Installing Default Printer For All Users on Windows 7 Client PCs.

The printers are shared on a Windows Server 2012 and I need a way to install them on Windows 7 clients PCs. I have tried using :
RUNDLL32 PRINTUI.DLL, PrintUIEntry but the results were unreliable.
1. Is there a way to install a network printer shared on a Windows Server 2012 while logged on to the local Windows 7 PC domain as administrator?
2. What other methods would you recommend?

You can deploy the printer via GPP, make some configuratiosn for the printers, set this printer as default printer, then link the GPO to related OU or group which contains the user accounts that you want this printer available. after that, run
gpupdate /force to update the policy, you will see printer listed on your client.

How do I set the about:config settings for all users? iprism keeps prompting from authentication for users.

When users log on and try to open Firefox 23.0.1, users are prompted with Iprism Authentication. We made changes to the firefox about:config values "network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow.-non-fqdn" and "Network.negotiate-auth.allow-non-fqdn" to true and it works, but only works on a per user basis. How can we set this up for all users?

I would think the about:config entries discussed are ex-factory set to values each user has to change individually, after the installation has run its course. The solution could be to have patched files ready to install post factum:

Sideloading metro apps for all users

I am having problems with my sideloaded metro app…… Doesn’t seem to work anymore on any of my machines.
For the first few months, I originally installed my Metro app by first installing the app’s signed certificate to the local machine root store (All OK), then running the following command logged on as the actual user I wanted the app run
under.

While this method sort of worked, it had two problems:
I needed to manually renew the developer licence every 30 days running
Show-WindowsDeveloperLicenseRegistration
and I had to do this logged on as the user on the actual console, couldn’t to this using remote PowerShell.
I want to install the app properly for all users without needing to keep renewing the developer license. I have now run the following to install the app for all users:

This method – even though it seemed to complete successfully, a couple of issues:
there’s no shortcut added to the start screen on one of my machines, so I can’t open the app
I am getting a message popup upon opening my app “The app can’t open: There's a problem with {app name}. Contact your system administrator about repairing or reinstalling it. [Close].” on another machine
Can someone please point me in right direction to get my app working again? I don’t think it’s anything major, I think I’m on the right track.
