Can I install PS CS5 and LR4 without uninstalling first?

Question

Could not uninstall PS CS5 and Lightroom 4 on a Windows platform due to computer crash. Need to intall now on a Mac platform. I have original DVDs and product keys. What is the procedure in this case. Thank you.

you're allow two installations/activations.
and if you've already use both you can request an activation count reset, http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html
but your ps cs5 is not a cross-platform product so you won't be able to use your pc serial number with a mac installer.  lr is a cross-platform product so your pc serial should also work with your mac installation file.
if you need the lr 4 mac installation file and if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-lightroom-4-is-out.html
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies. 
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). 
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.
