Can I just have one Bluetooth COM port?

Hi,
I have just installed the Bluetooth stack and there are now lots of BT COM ports listed. They are over-riding COM ports I already had defined previously for other non-Bluetooth devices.
Can I just add BT COM ports as and when needed?

Before I installed the Toshiba Bluetooth stack (on Windows 2000), I already had other non-Bluetooth devices set up from COM1 to COM6.
After I installed The Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, it created BT COM ports from COM1 to COM40.
The COM ports it created from COM1 to COM6 are over-riding my non-Bluetooth COM ports, so that I can no longer use them.
I had to uninstall the Toshiba Bluetooth stack before I could use them again.
Why does the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack create all these COM ports? I don't want it to create any until I tell it which device(s) to connect to.

Bluetooth COM Port

I have a bluetooth device that communicates over a virtual COM port. I can discover the device and it's services, but can't seem to initiate the COM port.
Has anyone used the Bluetooth VI's to set up a virtual COM port?

Currently we do not support setting up virtual com ports through
bluetooth. At this piont our driver software makes too many checks with
the hardware it's communicating with, and this causes some problems
with trying to do a virtual com port through bluetooth. Is there any
reason you want to use a virtual com port and not just use the
bluetooth VIs to communicate with the instrument?

No Bluetooth COM port with Version 6.5.1.4500 (T530, Win7 64bit)

Hi all,
after installing the current bluetooth drivers for the T530 (I'm not sure which drivers were installed before - I think standard Windows 7 drivers), I have several nice additional bluetooth profiles supported, by the virtual Bluetooth COM port has disappeared .... und uninstall is not offered by the drivers' setup.exe.
Does anyone have an idea how to get the COM port back?

The only options I can find are "default" and "Last printer used" which means I must go into the Print & Fax area and change the default EACH time I want to print??? Seems very low tech.....

In most cases you get this dialog box every time you print. It is called the print dialog and normally when you print, a print dialog appear showing the printer that is to be used. Which printer you see will be based on what you have set in Print & Fax as you mention. But regardless of what you have set there, you still have the option to change the printer via the print dialog.
If you are using an application that does not show the print dialog, like MS Word and that stupid "print one copy" print icon in the toolbar, then you can often change the action the print icon uses so that the print dialog appears.

All iPads come in wifi only or wifi + cellular. Just get the wifi version.

Had cloud installed on two, now just have one, but can't install on a new computer

I had Adobe Cloud installed on both my home and work computers. No problem.
I no longer work at the same place, and I'm pretty sure my everything was clear off my work computer when I left. At my new place of employment, I tried to install Adobe Cloud on my new computer, but got a message that I already have it installed in two places. The only option I could find was to uninstall it on "both" computers. I really don't want to uninstall it on my home computer and then reinstall it again. Do I have another option? How can I deactivate the account on the work computer I now longer have access to? (where I'm pretty sure it no longer exists anyway)

With respect to deactivating the product on the prev two computers, i would like you to try and activate the product on a third machine and wait for the message that pops up saying that you have reached your limit for activation . At that screen, you will find the information related to deactivating the prev two installations by clicking on Continue . This step would deactivate the product on the prev two machines resetting the counter back to 0 .

I can pin three or four websites that load when I open Firefox, but I do not want a homepage to open full. Can I just have pinned sites open? At this point it looks like I must have homepage. Can a homepage be pinned?

I have three or four sites that I want pinned when my browser opens. And would like only those to open pinned and not have another tab (homepage) open.

I recommend you try to adjust to 29 and see if you can't make it work for you before you downgrade to a less secure and soon outdated version of Firefox.

How do I merge Firefox on my mac and Firefox on my PC to just have one set of passwords, bookmarks etc. shared via Firefox Sync?

I have two versions of Firefox 4, one on my Macbook pro running OS X and one on bootcamp running Windows 7 professional. They both have different bookmarks, add ons and saved passwords. Is there any way, using firefox sync, that I can collaborate all of the information saved in both of my firefox programs into one profile, and then have them sync to eachother so that when I save a password on my mac, I can access it on windows, etc? The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on it - if you hadn't put one on your account (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
