Can I just take my Mac Pro to the Apple Store for free repair?
My Mac Pro is covered by AppleCare, and it's been having the same problem for about a month. I'll turn it on, it'll freeze and start glitching with pink twitching lines all over the screen. I've called AppleCare over 6 times, and they've had me do different things to temporarily solve the problem, but whenever I get off the phone, an hour later it'll be the same problem. I've stopped calling, and am now afraid to even turn on my computer because I don't want to do any more damage to it.
I feel like there is nothing someone can do to fix this over the phone, there is definitely a bigger problem than a freeze here and there. Can I just bring my tower in to the Apple Store? Will they fix it for free?
You can take it just about anywhere thats Apple Certified, or do a mail in. Apple has a Apple Care Certified locater that comes in handy if your like me and the nearest Apple Store is 320 miles away.

I have bought only one brochure of a magazine called SuperInteressante on the itunes newstand. It costed £1,99. However, the payment was set automatically for every new edition published and so I have been charged 1.99 since then. I sent an email for the Magazine but had no replies.I have tried deleting the app but id didn't work as the payment continue to be taken. Cant find a way of canceling it. First of all: Your iPhone "present" was most likely hacked/jailbroken. The update you did bricked it and it is now useless. Apple will not repair this.
Second: The warranty is usually only valid for the country it was purchased in. Check before you buy.
Third: You can set English as default language on the iPhone . iPhone supports a myriad of diffrent languages. If you buy it Poland it doesnt matter. -

There is no 2007 23" Cinema Display
There is a 2002 23" display that has the Apple ADC connector

For the latter you just need a mini display port to DVI connector that plugs into the Thunderbolt port

. I bought a new Mac Pro from an Apple store 2 days ok, it was sold as factory sealed, but it's reconditioned - it has some strangers entire photo,library from 2003 to 2011 in the trash bin.
I was bought a Mac book pro as a birthday gift from the Apple Store in Leicester, after completing the initial set up procedure, I noticed that the trash bin was full of some one's entire photo collection from 2003 to 2011.
This is entirely unacceptable for Apple: How long have Apple been fobbing of consumers who believe they were genuinely purchasing a 'new' Mac book?
How is it that I have someones entire photo collection on my 'branch new Mac Book Pro' - these photos included wedding photo's, birthday celebrations, family celebrations and children. Its a serious breach of data protection, it's an invasion of some poor persons privacy and private photo collection. What concerns me the most, is what could have happened if those photo's had fallen into the wrong hands. We managed to trace, locate and contact the person who the photo's belong to within 10 mins using information taken from their wedding album.
Understandably these people are also very distressed that their personal photos are on my brand new Mac Book pro.

I got my 27" Mac on 10/06/13...can I, or rather shouldn't I, get the iwork suite for free? 2 weeks is a hard hit for $60 in apps after spending $1800. The store told me that Mavericks was guarenteed for 6 months. So when I bought it early, (knowing that Mavericks was coming), I had no fears. 64-bit versions of Windows 8 and Windows 7 are supported using the Boot Camp 5 Support Software. If you need to use a 32-bit version, you need to use Boot Camp 4 Support Software, and you must use Windows 7. 32-bit versions of Windows 8 are not supported via Boot Camp.

I just purchased Final Cut Pro from the App Store and it will not download to my computer. I try and install it from my purchases file but nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Whether you need to buy Mac OS X 10.7.3 depends on what version of OS X you have now.
If you have OS X 10.6.x or lower it is a paid upgrade from the Mac AppStore.
If you have OS X 10.7.x it is a free upgrade you get using Software Update on your Mac. -
My iphone charger has a shortage or something . It's not working . Can I take it back to the apple store for a replacement ?
Yes. Take your iPhone as well so Apple can check warranty

I just took in my macbook to the apple store to clean the fan because it was starting make a little noise but instead of making it stop it sounds like an airplane about to take off all the time, it doesn't matter what i'm doing. I dont know what to do now? any ideas on how to make it stop?
take it back asap. If it wasn't doing it before they cleaned the fans, they may have accidentally done something that is causing this behavior.

I have a iPad 2 , not jail broken, just 2 months old fresh from the apple store. Recently I have been directed to **** sites or a fake bad oink **** application, through various applications. From google chrome app, the photon app and safari.
I always delete cookies and cache on exit. I use photon and puffin to watch flash player videos on tv series site with links such as put locker. I heard that there is no virus for the iPad but Trojans do exist.
Pleae help, at first this was just happening with photon app now in 3 different apps, and it is directing me always to the same **** site. Again, even Kaspersky doesn't say such things exist now, merely that they might.
Speculation about what might happen in the future or articles focusing on the Mac OS or Android are not terribly relevant. So, if you do have any other citiations, preferably from a source that doesn't derive most of is revenue from the companies it reviews, that document a virus or trojan that affects an unjailbroken iOS device, I would be interested. I have not been able to find any. I thought, perhaps, as a professional, you might know of some.

My Imac was just repaired at Apple Store and I have no sound. The Speaker Icon is not on???
Check the Sound system preferences. If the volume is turned up and the Mute checkbox is not marked, you don't have anything plugged into the headphone/output jack, and testing the Alert Volume on the Sound Effects pane doesn't generate a tone, then the technician may have failed to properly reconnect the speakers and you'll have to take the Mac back to the Apple Store. First, though, try resetting the PRAM:

for some reason , when i restore my iphone 4s to factory settings my headphones work when listening to music or youtube videos but when i backup my information onto it , it only comes out of one ear bud and i just got a new one from the apple store. my old iphone 4s audio jack was messed up but i just got a new one with my warranty , can anyone help me please.
It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over. -
Can I add my own art work to my albums in iTunes and/or share them with the Apple Store for others to download?

I thought that there was a way to do this. However, it would be neat to be able to upload correct Art Work for album covers so that other could share instead of having to scan / take picture and then import. I guess Apple would be inodated with incorrect pictures if we could upload to them.
