Dear All,
Can i keep configuration settings (polling frequency and other which are typically set in BPEL adapter outside BPEL
so that at runtime BPEL will look at this configuration file instead of settings inside BPEL.

I think you can. If you define them as properties in the Adapter wsdl (by prepending a $), then you can set their values in bpel.xml. And the values in bpel.xml are exposed in the bpel console under the descriptors link. so you can modify these values at runtime, without having to undeploy the bpel process.

Can't keep extension settings different in different profiles

I created a second profile called Shopping. I imported the extensions from my default profile into it. I wanted to run Shopping with a different set of enabled and disabled extensions from what I normally run on my Default profile. (On Shopping I enabled a number of shopping-related extensions I normally keep disabled on Default.) But I have found that I'm not able to separate the two profiles in this respect. When I brought up Default after using Shopping, the enabled/disabled configuration I had left Default with had been replaced with the enabled/disabled configuration of Shopping. This defeats my whole purpose in creating the Shopping profile. How can I keep the enabled/disabled extensions configurations of these two profiles separate?

If you used Sync to do that "import", disable Sync for at least one of those Profiles.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have Sync enabled for all the profiles. To my surprise, however, Sync was of no use in getting Default's extension collection into Shopping. For that I had to resort to the article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox.
I will try disabling Sync on Shopping.

elapsed time and the majority of the CPU time is spent inside the 'mbeans'. This
looks to be associated with the ApplicationManager's poll period which I would
like to reduce.
The quetsion is: how can the poll frequency be controlled and what is the impact
of doing so?

How can I change WebLogic MDB polling frequency?

I have MDB deployed to WebLogic and listening on AQ. Because of SLA, I would like the MDB to poll every 5 seconds or less no matter what. From WebLogic log I could see that the polling frequency varies depending on the load on the queue. The following shows what happens when the MDB is deployed and finds no message in the queue.

Go to T-code RSA13.
Search you desired BI system.
Right click on it and Display Data Source Tree.
There you can see all your datasource with BI as source system.
You can do the same for other source systems.
Double click on the datasource to see the fields and configuration.

Can I use polling frequency for Database Adapter

I need to use Database Adapter that acts like FileAdapter. Can I set polling frequency for my Database Adapter, so that the adapter can query every 5 secs?

You can use polling feature when you configure your DB adapter Operation Type as "Poll for New or Changed Records in Table"
If you use Adapter configuration wizard it will promot for "Pollling Options" and Polling Frequency is the option which you can configure in seconds, mins or hrs

I have a requirement to make the Database polling frequency and the number of records being picked up in that interval to be configurable. If we change the DB Adapter polling configuration every time, we have to re-deploy the code. I want to know how it can be done from the console so that it allows us to both configure the DB Adapter polling configuration as well as not to re-deploy the code every time we change the configuration based on load.
The version of SOA Suite being used is Oracle SOA Suite 11g.
Any inputs on this would be of real great help.

Yes. Above answer works on ESB too. I mean ESB initiating with requried configs and routing to BPEL process.
In BPEL, I have seen 'Deployment Descriptor' which is meant for run-time variables. I don't think these can be used for configuring the adapter itself.

How can i keep the optimize settings in Muse

I was very carefully optimizing the images in adobe photoshop, and make them always at 100%.
When the web site was oline i takes a lot to charge some images and i just realized that Muse increase a lot the file size of most of them!
So, how can i keep the original optimize settings?
I don't want to replace the images manually using ftp

I just realized what happens.
I see that some images keep the original names an its compression and size, but other images doesn't.
The "problem" is with the round corners that i used, the original images are in jpg, but in order to make the round corner the Muse convert them in to png and it increases a lot the file size.

Create RFC Destinations in SM59
Create RFC Ports in WE21
Steps in Sender
Create table in SE11 and insert data
Create Segments in Tcode WE31.Define the table fields in segment
Create basic IDOC type in WE30.Specify the above created segment name,save and release the IDOC
Create message type in WE81
Assign message type to IDOC type in WE82 and release
Create partner profile in BD64,add the message type ,specify sender,receiver,message type and generate partner profile and execute.Distribute the model view
Check the partner profile in WE20
Develop a report in SE38 with code that transfers the data from source to destination
Execute the report and specify the fields to be transferred
Check the control records in WE02
Steps in Receiver:
Create an update function module in SE37
Assign the function module to logical message
Define input method in Tcode BD51
Create process code in WE42
Generate partner profile in BD64
After executing the report in sender system check in the destination system table wheather the fields are transferred
In this case a custom table has been created in sender and receiver with same structure.We can even transfer the standard table fields by using idocs

Always backup your important data before upgrading to a new Mac OS X.
Lion doesn't erase the drive but better to be safe than sorry.
And run Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities). Verify and if necessary repair the startup disk before upgrading.

Do you have a computer around? You could try plugging your iPad in and deleting uneeded apps, songs, movies, etc. using iTunes.
