Can I Limit Genius Mix to Use Just A Portion of Library?

Hi - I love the Genius Mixes feature but I would like to use it to organize a large playlist that I have instead of my entire library. Is there any way of limiting Genius to pull from a subset of my library?

Actually I was wrong ... I mistaked being able to say "play rock music" for genius.
You can't say "play similar songs" it will say genius is not available.
I don't understand why they would have disabled genius all together for itunes match?

I have totally updated my Ipod Software and the Itunes but the Genius Mix List didn´t appear on my device, can you help me if is possible to load this kind of list?

Hmmm, I bought a 60-GB Ipod Classic at first then it was stolen. The thing is my 2 year warranty didn't kick-in, nether did my car insurance which doesn't cover theft.
So I had to take the loss and come up with cash for another Ipod but this time it was the 80-GB Classic. Now this one has crashed. So I may try ZUNE this time, are you listening @ APPLE ? I've only had this new one since July 7th- 07.
So far I've shelled out roughly $930.00 for two APPLE Ipods with the 2 year warranty in approve. 18 months.
Another thing is that I didn't transfer the warranty to the new Ipod. They don't tell you themselves about the transfer but you have to take the initiative yourself. They never offered to give me the paperwork. There you have it the pitfall of not transferring your warranty. Without that warranty you are left holding the bag. So get that warranty puuuleeeezze.

Can't get Genius Mixes in iTunes 9

After updating to iTunes 9 I didn't get the Genius Mixes. Tried updating Genius and turning it off and on.

Also having the same problem.
In fact i can't even turn Genius 'ON'.

I have an ipod shuffle 1st generation it will work if i connect it to my usb port in car or on computer but i can not get it to work using just headphones what coud be the reason for this

I Can't Get Genius Mixes in iTunes!

Hello. For some reason Genius Mixes don't appear in iTunes for me. Under the "Genius" section in the sidebar, only "Genius" appears. No Genius Mixes. I tried updating Genius, but it did nothing. Please help. I'm running iTunes 9.2.1.

Can you populate an ADF Tree using Just In Time ?

The application that I am currently working on requires a navigator.
This navigator will be a tree structure.
I have developed a prototype using standard Java Swing components - a JTree. The JTree is populated JIT (Just in Time), i.e. when a user clicks to expand a node the relevant database package is called to populate that branch of the tree. This process continues until the JTree has been expanded so that all of it's leaf nodes are displayed.
This works perfectly well in Swing, is it possible to acheive the same functionality using;
a) ADF Swing
b) ADF JSF
If so, and anyone has acheived this, I would appreciate any help/pointers/tutorials that you may have come across.

Hi,
I think you can, but not using the default ADF tree bindings. You would have to create a custom tree model and then programmtically populate the model with data you access through ADF.
However, I understand your requirement is lazy loading of the child nodes. I will check with development if this feature is planned and if not file an enhancement request for the tree binding.

How can I get Genius back. Using 6.1.2

I downloaded update 6.1.2 and noticed that my genius feature is gone when listening to music. How can I get it back??

YOu need to get the videos into the photos app.
So either add the videos to iPhoto, or in a folder.
Plug in the iPad to your computer.
fire up iTunes.
Go to the iPad options, and then to the Photos tab.
Select the folder with videos, or an album with the videos from iPhoto.
MAke sure to tick the include videos tab.
IMovie will be able to delink to the videos again.

I am assuming that u r doing this on a mac., then, your best bet might be to use parental controls option. so you'd have one admin acct (pw protected, ofc) which would control the other, limited account. then you have lots of options, including: white & black url lists, app control, timed access control, mail and ichat limits. ya could go nuts with all of he options

Can i design a touch screen using just labview, i mean creating a vi and running it???

I guess it would depend on the type of touch screen and computer that you are using. I don't have a whole lot of experience with touch screens, but isn't touching a touch screen equivalent to clicking a mouse button with a normal screen??
If this is the case, then if the operating system on that computer is supported by LabVIEW then it should definitely work. All you would need to do is build the LabVIEW program like normal, and put it on the touch screen computer.

Can I create a movie trailer using still photos from iPhoto library

I am wondering whether I can create a movie trailer (like Epic Drama for example) using still images / photos from my iphoto library instead of using movie clips.
I have found out how to import photos in a normal project but I cannot do the same for a movie trailer project.

You can do this.
The trick is to convert your trailer to a project.
First, I would suggest going to the Project Library view and selecting your trailer. Then FILE/DUPLICATE and give the duplicate a name, like (Original Name - Backup).
Then, with the trailer selected in the Project Library, click FILE/CONVERT TO PROJECT.
Your trailer is now a project and you can add stills and use all the capabilities of iMovie.

I have i phone 4 with complete library. then i bought used i pod touch, containing many apps.But i can't transfer the apps of used i pod to my library on i tunes. HOW I CAN DO THAT?

You did not purchase or download those apps with your own Apple ID/iTunes account so you won't be able to transfer them to your iTunes library. You can't transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another either. So get rid of them and sync your own.

How can I raise the audio level of just a PORTION of a clip (not the whole thing)?

Would like to raise the level of one part of my project but NOT the other. This only seems to allow me to raise the entire project, but not individual sections. Earlier versions of iMovie had the ability to crossfade several audio tracks, etc., but this 'new and improved' one doesn't. Am I missing something?
Have tried separating the audio, but that doesn't help.
