Can I link to specific items in a Spry dataset?

I have a website for a community festival. I'm using a spry dataset for the festival events http://www.horizonfest.co.uk/programme/events.html . Visitors click on an event in the left hand column and it appears on the right.
The festival programme is on this page: http://www.horizonfest.co.uk/programme/sitemap.html . If you scroll down to for example the evening event on 16 July, it will take you to the events page (first link above). My clients would like it to open the event for 16 July on the events page (and similarly for any event). At the moment visitors have to scroll down and open the event themselves.
I have tried putting an anchor in the 16 July data item. I am not surprised it doesn't work because the anchor is effectively on a different page.
So, is there any way of doing this? I'll be pleased if the answer is definitively 'no'. I'll be delighted if there is a way of doing this. If there isn't it may be something to look at in the future.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you other than to say it's a grim future for Spry. Adobe abandoned the framework late last year with no plans for future development with it.

I am using Adobe Creative Suite 5. My OS X is 10.9.5. So what happens when I try to link 6 specific jpgs is that they are greyed out and I cannot click to open. In this folder there are 20-30 some other jpgs that are functioning just fine in the document. The 6 jpgs used to be linked to my document but once I updated them and tried to relink they became grey and I am now unable to click them. I exported these 6 jpgs from another InDesign file that is not corrupted but is producing jpgs that are unusable in the creative suite. I can open these jpgs in preview or photoshop even but not InDesign anymore.

Can you select a specific item from a listbox via scripting?

This seems like it should be easy, but I've spent quite a few hours trying to figure this out, to no avail. I'm trying to create a button that would automatically select a specific item on a listbox. I though "selectedIndex" would do the trick, but this seems to only work if the user actually selects a specific item on a listbox. I'm looking for the opposite effect, where a person will push a button where a specific item on the listbox gets selected.
Any help would be much appreciated...thanks!

You can use the setItemState method for this purpose.
To select the third item use:
ListBox.setItemState(2, 1);

I would like to know if there is any limit to the Maximum # of components that can be linked to a Class Item (K) of a Super BOM.
i.e i have a scenario where am creating a Class Item (K) in a Super BOM and for this Class Item i might end up in having more than 3000 materials linked to the Class Item. The actual component will get selected based on a certain Characterstic value.
I want to know if there would be any issue if i have more than 3000 materials linked to a Class Item.

I was wondering if anyone had same kind of scenario in their projects, if so what is their feedback.
The reason i want to know earlier is it would be too late in the game if i chosen this route and went ahead configuring the System. We may not be having complete set of materials in our Test Scenarios.
The only environment i would see the complete setup as per our Project details is production, unless otherwise we plan to do something else.
Appreciate inputs in this regard.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to get a specific list item form a list which with more than 100000 items using C#.
I suggest you can use CAML Query with some condition and set Row Limit to specify the number of items to return.

Can you link to specific start and end pages of pdf in a web page

I'm using iframes to display a pdf on a web page. i want to be able to link to for example pages 2-3 of a 20page document.
I know i can link to a start page or a bookmark/destination but i only want those 2-3pages available to the viewer not the whole document.
Is this possible?

I know I can link to a page but that's not what I need.
I need to be able to link to specific text on a page.
See, if the text I need to link to is in the middle of the page then it kind of creates a problem because the link doesn't go directly to that text, instead it goes to the top of the page that the text appears in.
That's not what I want it to do.
I want the text that I link to, to be what shows at the top of the window, rather than the beginning of the page that the text appears on.

How can I add a link to an item within a workflow email - which will always find the item - even if it's status has changed?

I've used the method within the SharePoint designer to add a link to the workflow context current item URL, but when the current item status changes then obviously this link will no longer work.
How can I change this link so that it will always open the item, even if someone has changed it within the list, before I clink on the link?
This is an important one as over 300 people will use the list and many of these will be emails about items on the list will be in different time zones. I don't want to have lots of mails from people saying "this list doesn't work" as it's
critical they keep using it.
Please help.
P.S. I don't know if the <href> method will work, so if someone can confirm to me then that would be great.

I’ m not very clear about the status you said. Please descript more detail which URL do you want to display.
Per my knowedge, you can display the following url in your email body:
[%Workflow Context: Current Item URL%]
[%Workflow Context: Current Site URL%]
[%Workflow Context: Workflow Status URL%]
[%Current Item: Encoded Absolute URL%]
Please start the workflow automatically when an item is changed and changed.
No matter how you edit the item or update the approve status, the URLs remains the same.

In Numberland, a spreadsheet is an entire document.
There is no way to link different documents.
(2) in the message, you ask the way to link different tables.
This feature is available and is described in iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide (which is available for free from the Help menu).
Getting the info just requires a simple search in this available resource !

How can I access user permission for specific items in Sharepoint 2013 via REST API?

I want to access user permissions for specific items like lists, documents, folders etc. via the REST API.
Currently I am hitting the following endpoint:

I cant understand why high and low are both 0? I have added the user to a specific group. Also this is the same result for each of the users. Another thing to note is that I havent added the "Guest" user in the sharepoint server. So when I hit the endpoint for the Guest user, it still shows the same response. So I know there is something I am doing wrong.I want to access permission of a user for a specific item, say a document using the REST API. Can someone tell me how? What would be the endpoint?

I can't link menu items with the areas in the page:

You cannot link default menu items , default menu includes the link to pages ( site structure).
You would need to create a manual menu if you want to link new pages to menu items. Please let me know if you are not looking for this answer.

but when i change the value of this second item, the first one (P1_SUBPROJECT) dont get -1

Auto-included link to list item not working in Workflow or email notification

I made a workflow straight from my SharePoint site--NOT from SharePoint Designer. (My computer is still running on Windows XP, so I can't download Designer until my boss upgrades me to a newer system.) When creating the workflow, you have the option to include
a link to the list item by clicking a checkbox. The links don't work in either the email notification or in the workflow properties. Extra characters are being added for some weird reason. (For example, the correct link looks like "https://www.w14b.comcast.net/sites/<yada
yada>.docx" and the links in the workflow and email look like "http://www.w14spw-po-b1.com/sites/<yada yada>.docx") I see no place to edit the URL. How do I fix the links???

FAX Sending - Link between SOST items and PO Data

Hi all,
We have a message type to send FAX to the vendors.
This is tracked in SOST.
There are some FAXes which get failed and are to be tracked individually in SOST.
We need to make a report which gets all the failed PO #s.
We are not able to arrive at the db link between the items in SOST and the PO data.
Can anyone of you let us know how this can be done ?

I alraedy have a relation between the Accounting Doc and Billing Doc (VBRP-vbeln to BSEG-belnr).
what I am looking for is the Item wise one to one mapping.
i.e Assume that we have 4 items in VBRP under one Billing Doc....
2 items have Similar Materials (Assume XYZ) and same Profit center (eq..MNO123)
and the Other 2 items have material (ABC) and Profit center (PQR6789).
Now these appear in Bseg as only 2 items, all the items with similar materials, profit center etc will be clubbed in Bseg (While Accounting). I.e In BSEG you will only find 2 entries for the above 4 items of VBRP.
I need to divide the data that I am getting from BSEG exactly as they are in VBRP.
Pls suggest if you know of any table where I can find this.....If not a table.., then a way to figure out the division of these BSEG items exactly as the VBRP items.
