Can I load adobe flash drive on the I-pad or is there an alternative?

can I load adobe flash drive on the I-pad or is there an alternative?

Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad - and Adobe have never managed to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, and they've recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, and there is the built-in YouTube app.

There are two different versions of Flash, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here:
[http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Adobe Flash - Plugin version].
Save it to your Desktop.
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit
then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure '''firefox.exe''' is closed,
{XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC = Processes tab}
3. Then run the Flash setup file from your Desktop.
4. Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
* On Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run the plugin installer as Administrator by starting the installer via the right-click context menu if you do not get an UAC prompt to ask for permission to continue (i.e nothing seems to happen).
See this:
Flash is not available on iPad. Apple doesn't allow it. You need to use whatever app they may provide to that end or use the normal web interface.

• Can not load adobe flash and now none of my video will work. may go back to internet ex.

can not load adobe flash player. tried plug in- and adobe site. nothing works and now I can not view any of my video. OH ye, you are not listed under any of the plug ins. are you windows? Mac? 64? what?

Dan,
The only safe way is to erase the volume and reinstall SL. Then use setup assistant to migrate your data from a Snow Leopard Time machine or clone backup.

Hi all,
I am a newbie to the Apple World and Yesterday I bought an APPLE IPAD (4th Generation).. My primary purpose is to read pdf files on IPAD4.

Sandisk has recently come out with a device
http://www.sandisk.com/products/wireless/flash-drive/
Never used it so I can't comment on whether or not it works well. There are very few devices out there that allow file transfer without going through iTunes or via the internet. IMHO, one real weakness of the iPad, great for consuming data, however not very fully featured when it comes to moving data around, especially if that data doesn't come from iTunes or other online source.
there is also a device called a WiDrive
http://www.kingston.com/us/usb/wireless
that is also a wireless drive for iPads.

I want to watch my shows off of CBS on my ipod touch. But it says I need to download Adobe Flash Player to watch them. If I do is it going to hurt my Touch? and if I can do I download the intel based Mac option or the power PC based Mac option? Or is there a way of downloading a flash player from Itunes? • Can I load adobe flash player on my iPad?

Is there a way to download adobe flash player or is there an app that can take its place?

Adobe never made a version of Flash for iOS.
There are some browsers that will give you some limited Flash functionality, including Puffin and Photon. Talke a look at the "More Like This" links to the right.
Also, some websites have dedicated apps which avoid the whole Flash nonsense. Take a look in the App Store.
Best of luck.

• How to load adobe flash drive

I have ran into a problem trying to download adobe flash onto my Macbook pro. It would only download at half way and tell me to close safari or firefox, I would then of course close the applications only to have it tell me again. Please help

1.Install Adobe Flash Player.
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Download it first.
Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
Follow the prompts and install it.
Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
Enable it.

• I can't load Adobe Flash. It looks like it installs but it is not working!

I download flash and it tells me to close Firefox. After I do that it appears to install. But, anything that requires flash tells me I don't have it installed and asked to download it again. It does work with IE

You do not have Adobe Flash installed. Carefully read the answer that I gave to this question yesterday:

• Is it safe to download adobe flash drive update from the internet (came via a notice from Adobe)

Is it safe to download an update from Adobe Flash Drive via the internet? A message from Adobe has popped up on a number of videos I'm trying to access.

If you are sure it is from Adobe, yes.
If you have the least little bit of doubt then go to the Adobe site yourself and download from their site and then install it.
