Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?

Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?  The model A1395 is described as "wi-fi only" and has a 30 pin connector for charging.
[By contrast, this is NOT the iPad2 model A1396, which is described as "Wi-Fi/GMS/GPS AT&T" or the Model A1397, which is described as "Wi-Fi/CDMA/GPS Verizon". Nor is it the model A1337, described as "Wi-Fi/3G/GPS (Original)".]
Wi-Fi only seems to me to have an ominous ring to it.  I am synching with my iPhone through the iCloud, if that is of any use.
In addition, I should note that the photo files I want to look at in the iPad are large files, a little over 100 MB in JPEG format.  The desire is to display the whole image (these are archival photos of heirloom quilts) and then be able to focus in on specific details (by enlrging them so that the stitching and other details can be seen).  I mention this because I tthink there may be some 30 MB limit on the size of a file that the iPAD can handle.  Would I be able to examine a larger file (but perhaps npot as large as 100 MB) if I had 64 MB memory in the iPad?
Winston

WiFi only refers to the fact that the iPad connects to the Internet via WiFi because it does not have cellular capability. That has nothing to do with the ability to put photos on the device.
Sync the photos from the Mac via iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Select the folder from which your photos are located in the Sync Photos From Heading. If you use iPhoto - select that or navigate to the specific photos folder on the Mac.
If you use iPhoto, select all of the albums, or events that you want to sync. If you use another photos folder, you can select one level of sub folders within that main folder.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Having 64GB of storage also has nothing to do with the ability to view the photos on the iPad since that refers to storage capacity. However, the larger the storage capacity, the more photos the iPad will be able to hold.
I know of no limit on the size that a photo needs to be in order to be viewable on the iPad.
If you use iCloud, you can sync photos that you shoot on the iPd and iPhone across devices via Photo Stream, but it just be turned on for this to work. Settings>iCloud>Photo Stream on. Any photos that you take on one device after photo stream is turned on, will sync to the other device.

How can I download photos from desktop to iPad2?

Not sure what you mean by it seems to have not recognized photos already on iPad 2.
There are two types of photos on your iPad 2 which are stored and handled completely separate.
Photos captured by your iPad, photos saved from a received email or from a website, and photos imported from a digital camera or from a digital camera's SD card using the iPad Camera Connection Kit are stored completely separate from photos transferred from your computer to your iPad, which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes.
Photos transferred from your computer are stored in the iPad's Photo Library. If you transfer a single album or folder of photos or multiple albums or folders or photos, all photos transferred from your computer will appear twice on your iPad - once in the Photo Library where all photos transferred from your computer are stored, and once in the photo album or folder selected to be transferred to your iPad. The photos are not duplicated. Photos in the albums or folders include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This way you can view all photos transferred from your computer by selecting Photo Library, or you can view the photos in an album or folder only by selecting the album or folder.

  • Can't get photos from iCloud onto iPad since updating

HI guys, not very technical so please bear with me
Basically, I updated my iPad software yesterday and all my photos disappeared. So I shared them all again from my iPhone so they would then go back on to my iPad. This worked at first and then stopped working so some photos are on Ipad but not others, and I cannot figure out why or what to do to get my photos from icloud onto my iPad. Anyone know what is wrong or what I can do to fix it?
thanks in advance for any help

  • How to re-load photos from pc onto camera roll on iphone 4

I have managed to transfer all of my wife's photos from her Camera Roll (Iphone 4) to PC and re-distribute them into existing folders under "My Pictures"
Is there a way to re-load those back onto the Camera Roll on her iPhone 4?
(Hope so - I'm not in her good books right now:(      )
    Thank you in advance
    Valentino1

Camera Roll is only for photos taken by the iPhone or downloaded from the web.  Photos synched back to the phone from the computer are stored in Photos.

  • Can't load photos from SD card or camera

I initially connected an SD card to my iPad with the camera connection kit. It immediately loaded all the photos on the card. I selected a few to save on the iPad and then disconnected the SD card. After that I was not able to load that card with same photos to select a few more or load any photos from any camera, including my Canon 7D, 20D or SD 1200. What's wrong?

    I guess I'm stumped.
All my previous tests were with a Compact Flash reader attached to the USB "dongle". Which seemed to work fine with my Nikons importing both raw and raw+jpeg.
I went and tried my wife's Lumix SD card and it seems to work fine. I could import a few shots, remove it then insert and import some more, repeated a third time OK.
According to a post by Rantexan [Here|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11389923&#11389923] he got the 7D to work.
Also according to RussW [Here|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11460740&#11460740] he got 5D to import.
Both of them were shooting raw.
Sounds like it might be the SD connector??

While on a YouTube page, right click the ABP icon and "open blockable items".
When the window opens at the bottom of the page, right click this line: http://s.ytimg.com/yt/swfbin/watch_as3-vfl9DouAr.swf (or some variation) , then "Disable Filter".

  • I have two iTunes accounts, can I load content from both onto iPhone

I had an iPod from a couple years ago and and I have an iPhone now. They are under two different iTunes and apple id's. The IPod was stolen from me recently and I was wondering if I can get everything from my iPods account onto iPhone?

    No.  You cannot consolidate.
    Sorry.

  • I can't load songs from iMusic onto my iPod

When I attach my iPod to the PC all that happens is the phrase "Do Not Disconnect" shows up on the nano screen. I also can't upload any songs from iMusic to the iPod and I have tried to sync this several times. Am I doing something wrong or is my iPod defective? I appreciate the help.
    Mike

Thanks for the help. Yes, I created a playlist in iTunes so we're doing that right. I originally created a few playlists in iTunes a few months ago when I first bought the iPod and had no trouble synching, but now it won't allow me to do that successfully. As to synching, I am clicking on every Sync iPod command but nothing is transferred between iTunes and the iPod. Any ideas? I assume this is broken. Thanks, Mike

  • Can't download photos from iMac to iPad.

I have my iPad connected to my iMac. When I bring up iTunes on the mac, it does not show the iPad under devices. What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.

    Ralph,
I was too quick in responding. I had to leave the machine and now I'm back. I followed your advice and went to the VIEW menu and clicked Show Sidebar. What shows is Library, Store, Genius and Playlists - no iPad. I do have iTunes 11.  Another suggestion?  By the way, when I click on File and then Devices, hte Sync Don's iPad is not lit up and I'm unable to invoke that. Perhaps that will provide a clue for you.  Don

  • I can't sync photos from Mac to iPad.

I can't sync photos from Mac to ipad2 and i have read on the support page How to fix it but it won't work

Have the photos been taken with the iPad or have the photos been synced to the iPad Air? Photos synced with iTunes to iOS devices cannot be synced back. See this link:  iOS: Syncing photos using iTunes
If the photos have been synced to the iPad Air, you need an external app as JimHDK recommended. Or mail the photos, which will be tedious. To delete them from the iPad after transferring them, sync again with iTunes, but select no folders to sync.
If the photos have been taken with the iPad Camera, you can connect the iPad Air to your Mac using a USB cable and then to launch Image Capture or iPhoto to transfer the photos. But that will not transfer synced photos.

  • Can you move photos from iphoto to a cd-r disc

Can you move photos from iphoto onto a blank CD-R disc? If so, how?

Take the photos you want to burn from iPhoto and put them in a folder on your desktop. Then, insert a blank CD and drag the photos onto the CD icon. Wait for them to finish uploading onto the disk and eject it. Insert it again just to see if this works; double click on the CD icon and ypu should see the same folder, with all of your photos in it. Hope this helps.
