I have purchases on this account that I can no longer retrieve do to having to restore my computer. Someone PLEASE help. These are my fav out of all my songs! Thank you

Personally, I think the ability to access "old" Apple IDs using your birthday as a verification criterion is simply broken, and if your email address has changed that's also useless.
If you find a way to do this please let me know. I've reached a dead end.

i used to have an ipod i downloaded tons of songs from apple then i moved to iphone4 i made a new id. today i decided to take a look at my old Apple ID and i saw all my old songs. i tried to re-download them and it said "Your Apple ID has been disabled" please help. my password is not an issue i put in new payment method PLEASE HELP

    1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID.  You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
    2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
    3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate.  Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME  and visa versa.
    4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

    Q:-
How can I remove my very old Apple ID from my Iphone 4S. The old ID is still staying on my mobile but that email doesn't exist anymore. I cant rest my mobile as everytime i tried it asks ID password which I don't remember.

    Hello mushysun,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out.  If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

  • Can i look at powerpoint on apple tv?

can i look at powerpoint on apple tv

Yes with airplay mirror.  You need mid 2011 Mac (early 2011 MBP) or newer and OSX 10.8 or later.
If you cannot support that or use PC a third party app called airparrot will do it.
    Regards

  • My old Apple ID is on my iPhone, but this has been transferred to a new Apple ID.  The iCloud on my phone is requesting the password for the old Apple ID, but this no longer exists.  How do I update the iCloud Apple ID on my iPhone?

My old Apple ID is on my iPhone, but this has been transferred to a new Apple ID.  The iCloud on my phone is requesting the password for the old Apple ID, but this no longer exists.  How do I update the iCloud Apple ID on my iPhone?  When I try to get the old passwork through forgot my password, the reply is that there is no account that exists.

    Try the following....
Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.  Then log in using a different ID.

  • How can I delete permanently a old Apple id?  my devises keep defaulting to my old id.

    problem:
I originally had a Apple ID that used a different email address.  I had to delete that email address as it was not accessable anymore.  I created a second Apple ID.
But my iphone keeps defaulting and asking me for the password for my first apple id.  I have the new Apple id on my iphone, however some programs must be still linked to the first account.  It is driving me nuts.  How can I change the settings on the apps using the first apple ID, or somehow delete that account permanently.
I am using a iPhone 5 and also a Ipad mini that I bought this year.  Both are getting the messages.  Arrrgh.
my iPhone 5 will not back up to the cloud, even though I have the account under my settings set for the second account.
Appreciate if anyone can help me here. Thanks!
    Donna

an Apple ID cannot be deleted.
The easiest solution would be to delete all the apps you downloaded with the old Apple ID and downloading them again with the new one, because everytime there are updates available for the apps you downloaded with the old one, you'll need to log in with the old one.
Logging in with the old one is still possible(provided you still have the password), regardless whether the emailaddress exists or not anymore, for an Apple ID it's just a username.

  • How can I log off the old apple ID and on to the new apple ID in Settings icloud?

I have an old apple ID that is currently signed into my new iphone5s under settings>icloud.
My new apple ID is signed in elsewhere on the phone.
I cannot sign out or delete the old apple ID account because I do not know the password.
I cannot reset the password because i do not know the email where the password is being sent.
I cannot reset the password via security questions because it is telling me the date of birth I am entering is incorrect.
I have no idea what to do now.
    Please advise.

f you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account.  You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then  on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

  • How can i link purchases from old apple id to new apple id?

How can i change old apple id and purchases to new apple id?

You can't do that yourself; if desired, you can click here and ask the iTunes Store staff if they will, but they probably won't.

  • Can't log in to old apple/icloud ID

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to delete my old apple/icloud account as I have two on the go, and one is for an old email address that I have deleted.  The problem I'm having is verifying my login - I need to log in to the old account to get rid of it from my phone.  I don't know the password, and when it asks me for the security information I put my date of birth in and it tells me I'm wrong - which can't be! I can't ask for an email reset instead, as the email address I'm using has gone - I got rid of it.  This is basically driving me completely insane, so if anyone can shed any light I'd be very grateful.

  • I need to change a new Apple id on the iPad but  I can not sign out the old Apple id on my iPad because I forgot the password and sec

I Need to change a new Apple id on the iPad but I can't sign out the old one because I forgot the password and the security question.

Yes, you can just log out of iCloud on the mini (Settings>iCloud> Sign out) and nothing will be affected as long as the iPad is not restored from any backup after that. Though if you're giving her the iPad I would highly recommend moving the pictures to your iPad (via this page) so that the mini can be reset and set up under your daughters ID to avoid Activation Lock in the future.

  • Can't update apps from old apple id

I updated my apple id e-mail and now I can't update an app associated with the old e-mail.  The old password won't work and when I have it send an e-mail to reset my password I never get the e-mail.

Did you update the email used in the old Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? If you made a new Apple ID, that was not a good idea. Content is for ever tied to the ID that bought it. Only that I can be used to redownload content and to update the content. Apple does not tranfer content from one Apple ID to another nor does Apple merge Apple IDs. You will need to continue to use the old ID to update the content or abandon it all as is.

  • Can't authorize songs under old Apple ID

I've run a search for this problem and found lots of other people having the same issue but I haven't seen a solution yet. I recently upgraded my eMac to OSX 10.5.6 and I'm now running the latest version of iTunes as well. However, the songs I purchased under a previous Apple ID won't play on my computer or transfer to my iPod or iPhone. It tells me to authorize the computer but since my old Apple ID doesn't exist anymore I can't authorize it for that ID. It's already been authorized for the current Apple ID. There's over 100 songs that are affected, and that's a lot of money. Is there any way I can get those songs back? Do I need to create a new account? If so, how will it recognize the new account belongs to those songs?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that but it only reset the password for my current account. When I searched for the previous Apple ID (which is really a former email address) I got this message: "We were unable to find your Apple ID with the information you provided. Please make sure the name you enter here matches your account information exactly." So it appears that Apple ID no longer exists.
The songs in question played fine until I upgraded to OS X 10.5.8 a couple months ago. I could play both those purchased under my old Apple ID and the ones I have under my current ID without any problems. Oh, and to clarify, when I get the authorization prompt, I do enter my current Apple ID and password, but that doesn't authorize those songs that were purchased under my old ID. It keeps defaulting back to the defunct account.

  • My email got blocked and can't sign in using old apple id so i created a new one i just need to transfer all my data to the new id

heres the download. I downloaded the new os 5.0 and had to verify my icloud account it, when i tried to check my email it said that my password was wrong and I couldn't access my account so I went through the whole process on reseting my password and no can do for now so I thought well if I can't use that account anymore then I will just switch my apple id to another email address that I had and use that so  I got that set up and now all I need to do is somehow transfer my purchases to my new account well I thought I could do that through my iphone and stupid me reset the whole thing where I can't even access anything or even make or recieve phone calls so someone please help me I am hopelessly lost without my iphone and I am desperate for answers

Ask Apple to re-enable it. I had an unauthorized purchase last October. They disabled my account until the problem was solved. However, I asked them to reopen it, and they just asked me to provide some security information (billing address, a recent purchase you made, etc.), and then they re-enabled it.
