Can I make moving Chapter titles in iBA 2?

I would like to make chapter and section pages move. Text on that page should transition from left to right,... like in keynote. But I would like that it starts automaticly, without touch.
I know that there is no such possibility in iBA2. Does anyone know if Apple will include that in iBA 3 or maybe sooner ?
Thanks.

I haven't seen that ability in iBA's ibooks yet.

  • Moving Chapter Titles in TV Safe Area

Hopefully this will be an easy question to answer. I had my iDVD movie all ready to burn, and then I checked the TV Safe Area and saw that the chapter titles and the forward/backward arrows are too low. Is there a way to raise them up so that they’ll fit inside the safe area? I hate the idea of having to start from scratch, and my Help menu hasn’t been very helpful. It’s hard to figure out why they couldn’t anticipate a question like this.

Let me know if this helps:

  • How can i make higher resolution titles?

i am working on a dvd that will be nationally produced through churches all over america and most likely the world and everything is going great (now that i bought more RAM...) but i am using just very basic titles for the dvd but they look so pixelated and low res. i am working with FCE 1.1 and i am using the TEXT from the video generators, does anyone know how i can make higher res texts that don't look so stinkin pixelated? thanks so much

The general rules are - use a sans-serif font (for example, Arial) and make it as large as you can, subject to the limits of your aesthetic tolerance. Small fonts & serif fonts do not work well in video.
I don't know if FCE 1.1 included Title 3D, but that generator includes a 1:2:1 Deflicker control that may be helpful. If not, you could try adding the Flicker Filter to your text clip.
Another suggestion (and I'm assuming you have still text, not moving text) would be to duplicate the text clip and stack it on top of the original text clip, on a higher video track. Then open the original text clip and apply the Gaussian Blur filter or Anti-Alias filter. This will help soften the pixellated edges of the text.
Which generator(s) are you using, what font & what size?

  • How can I make "gray" library titles in my finder selectable?

I was going to continue editing my previous project but all previous folders have disappeared in the main window. They can be found when trying to "open library" but cannot be selected as they show up "grey". What can I do? Has the path changed somehow and what can I do about that?
    Thank you!

What version of the software are you using? 10.1? These are old version events and projects. They need to be updated. In the File menu.

  • Chapter title on ipod nano

    Hi
I've created an AAC file with some chapter information using the chapter tool. It successfully shows the chapter titles in iTunes. When I transfer it to my iPod nano, I am able to forward to each chapter, but there is no place that I can see where the Chapter title is displayed. Am I missing some trick, either on formatting the original file or on displaying it on the nano?
    Thanks
    Ian

    HI David
It seemed to be an obvious function to display the chapter names - at least as you skipped to them. But maybe next rev!?
The Chapter tool is a command line tool (ie you have to run it from terminal) in which it takes your audio file (m4a or m4b) and based on an xml input file which you create adds chapter marks and other things (eg pictures and links). It sounds daunting (well it you're not a terminal user) but really it's fairly straightforward and well documented (just read the example xml file).
You can download it from the apple site:
    http://homepage.mac.com/applepodcast/podcasts/Resources/static/podcastchapter_toolbeta.dmg
I think there may be little utilities now available to make editing the xml file easier and/or running the chapter tool. So check out versiontracker or google.
    Thanks

  • How can I make chaptgers with in Chapters

Hi, I was wondering how can I make a chapter within a chapter. Maybe that sounds funny. What I want to do is back up some old video tapes that have some old shows on them. Like for example, I want to make dvd with some old 3 stooges on em for my dad. For each episode, I was thinking, I was thinking of breaking them up a bit, so you can do scene selection faster. However, I don't want them as seperate chapters so when your in the dvd menu and go to scene selection and have all whole bunch of chapters, I would rather have just the episodes. Like I know we have some bought dvds of threes company and you can select which episode you want to watch and when you watching it and you press like the chapter button or next scene goes to where a commercial would have ended. I thought bookmarks would do it but I was way off on that one. Or is this a thing you do with DVD pro.
    Nathan

    Hi, Nathan,
I haven't done this myself, but I know you can have submenus of submenus and you can probably create this type of 'nesting' chapters by placing chapter markers in iMovie, and then making the menus and submenus in iDVD.

    Hi, all ...
I'm currently build an application with a Swing. I'm using JDialog right now. Is there anyone know how to make JDialog can't be moved ... ? I want my JDialog stay in center, and nobody can't move it ...
    Thanks before ...

    Good problem!
If you use the JDK 1.4, there are some method to work for this problem
You should not use the native windows decode title bar, see the
    Frame.setUndecorated
JRootPane.setWindowDecorationStyle(JRootPane.FRAME)It seems that you should create a BasicRootPane subclass and implements
    your title bar.

  • Can i make Chapter during capture?

Im capturing a live program, and i need to make a chapter on the fly. Can I?
Estoy capturando un programa en vivo y necesito hacer capitulos durante la captura, ¿se puede?

You can create a marker. Try it.
I tried, and it didn't work.
I used my firewire input, set to "non-controllable device",
did "capture now", and tried hitting the "m" key. Nada.
Then I moved the capture window over and tried to
click on the "set marker". Nada.
So David, how do you do it?

Somehow I created a live copy of "Finder" on my desktop.  It is titled "iPhoto Library", and has live copies of all of my files/photos/music.  How can I make it go away without deleting all of my content?

Either you moved or copied your iPhoto library folder to the Desktop.
Quit iPhoto. Rename the folder on your Desktop to something else, such as "foo." Launch iPhoto. If you still see all your photos, you can delete "foo."
If you don't see your photos, quit iPhoto, rename "foo" to "iPhoto Library," and put it in your Pictures folder. Try iPhoto again.

  • HT1364 I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanen

I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanent?  I have an older machine with Windows XP.

I don't believe mounting the hard drive should be necessary, unless you have several external drives and want your computer to recognise them as folders, rather than drives. I've never had to mount a hard drive, ever. If you don't know how to do it, then it shouldn't be necessary now.
    Try this:
Prepare iTunes so that it can see the external drive.
Make a note of which drive-letter the external drive has been allocated. (Look in Windows Exploer)
Look at the file location for a song. Make sure it plays (and therefore that iTunes has found it). Highlight it and select File/Get Info/Summary>Where: and make a note of the drive letter for that song.
Close and shut down the computer.
The next time you turn the computer on again, connect the external drive
Before you start iTunes - check the external drive in Windows Explorer. Is it ready, does it have the same drive-letter that it had last time? Can you go into the drive and see the files on it?
Once you can, start iTunes. (If the drive lettter has changed, you need to work out why before going any further.)
If iTunes fails to find your external drive, you need to check where iTunes is looking for your Library.
Select the same song you checked before (presumably iTunes can no longer find it). Follow the procedure for locating it. You should be able to see where iTunes thinks the file is. It's the drive that counts. Which drive letter is iTunes looking at? Is it the same one that it was previously (which should also be the same one that the drive has now).
What happens, which step do you have problems with?

Hi! The "chapter" menu does not appear when I open a book in itunes. How can I make it appear? In fact, one time it did appear, but it seems to have been more of an incident.

Books are meant to be read on your Devices through iBook App and will not work on iTunes.
