Thats pretty much it although it seems like there is a dialog box strictly for the location of fireworks and then an another for an external editor. I will just go with the ext editor.

Of course. If you are using Safari for Mac, open Safari, go to Safari menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences, and change the search engine.
If you are using Safari for Windows, open Safari, go to File or Edit menu > Preferences > General, and change the search engine

I use Apex 4.0.2 and the theme is Builder Blue 2. When I click edit tab, I get "Tab Label" that is required field and a region called "images". As I got from you, I cannot utilize images in my case.

Character Count in Message app too pale, I can't see it. Can I make it bigger & black instead of grey

Character Count in Message app too small and pale, I can't see it.
(My eyes, like the rest of me, are over 50)
I have used Settings - Accessibility to increase font size which is wonderful so now I can read what I'm typing, but still cant see the character count.
Can I make the charater count use a bigger font?
Can I have it black instead of grey?
ANd can I change the whilte-on-green for sent messages into well constrasted colours (like the old iPhone 3G?) so I can read them too?

Thank you Malcolm, that was a good idea ... it seems to have improved the text in the messages I;ve received and a slight improvement in the white-on-green of the snet messages.
Sadly did not affect the character count.
I fear it begins to look as if the character count has been overlooked by the designers at Apple and is left "outside" the range of things affected by the accessibility options. What do you think?

How can I make navigation buttons textual instead of icons?

In pre-29 versions there was an option for this in the customise toolbar. It says 'Show:' with a drop-down menu next to it with the options icons, icon & text, text. I prefer this to be set to text but I don't see such an option in the customisaton menu for newer FF versions.

*Tools > Classic Theme Restorer
To change the options for it, such as showing text instead of/alongside icons on your toolbars.

Can't make Photoshop PDF with editable / vector text.

I'm trying to File > Save As an Adobe Photoshop CS6 PDF and then be able to open it and edit the text in Adobe Acrobat X.
Whenever I attempt to edit the text it is a raster image and it doesnt matter what I do in the photoshop pdf settings.
I want to be able to do this so that the text is able to be searched by google / search engines when I make the PDF available online.

That what I did by using CS6 and it worked for me. Hope it helps you too
Step1) Moved All Graphics (Images/Backgrounds) in one folder (Folder-Layers)
Step2) Moved All texts (title, Headings, main text etc.) in another folder (Folder-Text)
Step3) Merge the first folder (Folder-Layers) and made a single layer by right click & Merge Group
                           OR Select folder > Layer > Rasterize > Layer
                           Now I have only one Background Layer (Graphics) and a text folder
Step4) Go to - File > Save As > Choose Photoshop PDF –
Check* Use Proof Setup: Working CMYK then SAVE (If you want print)      You will get a message “The settings you choose in the save Adobe PDF dialog can override your    Current settings in the Save As dialog box. “- OK
Step 5) Save Adobe PDF Dialogue Box
              Choose settings-
Adobe PDF Preset: Adobe PDF Preset 1
Standard:        PDF/X-4:2010
Compatibility:    Acrobat 7(PDF 1. 6)
General
Check- Optimize for fast Web Preview
Check- View PDF after Saving
Compression
Just change Compression box None (No Zip, No JPEG., No JPEG2000)
Don’t touch any settings. and then SAVE PDF
Then open in Acrobat Reader and do the text changes.

Can I make Photoshop CS5 work with a 6 year old onboard GPU?

Recently, my graphics card stopped working, so I've been forced to use an onboard GPU until I can get the money to buy a new one. The problem though, is that the onboard GPU is VERY old (approximately 6 or so years), and every time I try to save something in photoshop CS5, the program crashes without even giving me an error message. Is there some way I can change the settings in CS5 to make it work? The GPU options in the preferences tab is already grayed out and has OpenGL automatically disabled, but I'm still having problems.

That's probably utterly unrelated to Photoshop. In so many words: The driver from your dedicated graphics card has left remnants and configuration information and Windows itself is trying to use it when drawing fiel dialogs etc.. Short of reinstalling the operating system from scratch it's probably nothing that can be fixed fully, but feel free to check your device manager and registry for that info. Though, really, in that 5 hours it would take you could just as well do that OS reinstall...

How can I make Photoshop Elements import files after it gives incorrect error code?

I had 17,000 photos on my hard drive well organized in folders before installing Photoshop Elements 11 today. I was able to get it to import only 467 into the catalog. I tried browsing, searching, selecting files and no matter what I did to bring inthe remainders (including trying to bring in folders with only 60-80 in each, moving files into new folders, etc.) and still can't see them in the organizer view. It allows me to highlight the folders or highlight the photo jpg files separately, says it is getting media, but then comes back with message that "files are not in correct format or are in the catalog" but they ARE in normal format jpeg, can view in other programs, and they are NOT visible in the catalog. Very frustrating, especially after wasting hours downloading the program from Amazon Marketplace - took hours, then had errors and had to redo twice. Running WIN 7 on 6 month old Sony computer with 8 GB RAM and quad processors. Thanks for any help.

You should try posting in the PhotoShop Elements forum, especially if no one else here has a better suggestion to offer. It is possible someone else has encountered the same problem and you could search there to see. If you post there and you do have an error message, you should include the details of that error message.

How can I make Outlook use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer and can I turn IE off without hurting anything else on my machine?

I would like to use Firefox for Outlook Express. I can't find an option in Outlook or Firefox to make Firefox the default to access the web for email through the mail client.
Also, is there a way to stop IE so that it isn't used at all by any program in my machine?

I've tried that. When I go to outlook express, then to tools, options, then connections tab, it says "Outlook shares your connections with Internet Explorer, click the change button to modify these settings", but I don't see a way to do that. It just offers the option of changing settings for connecting to the internet, not which browser.

Can't make photoshop droplets w/ Mac Book Pro.

I was going to re-do my actions and droplet sets for my MacBook Pro yesterday since it has a new destination disk and got a big surprise. While I could do my actions OK, all I get when I build a droplet off of it is the icon and grey and white circle slash on it, no working droplet. If I try to put the image into it, it just plops on the desktop. This is w/ CS2. I tried saving them in various places and no go.

Problem solved. When naming the droplet in the where to save dialog, make you you put a .app at the end of it.
Now works perfect.

Can I make other people editors of a particular form without having to give them my password?

I tried making someone a co-author and it sent them an email with a link and when they click on it, it asks them for their username and password. They don't have one since it never asked to create one for them when I made them a co-author.

This is not possible on FormsCentral but as you might already know FormsCentral is retiring soon. So, you will probably soon need to move your forms to a service like JotForm. Is this an important criteria for you when you decide which Form Builder you will move your forms to? If so, you might be happy to know that JotForm has this feature. It is called "sub-users". You can give other people access to edit your forms.
