Yes, you can make real-looking gunshot effects, but it depends on what you mean by "gun shot effects". If you mean muzzle flashes, yes.
Yes, you can remove a wall, but it depends on what you mean by "remove a wall". If you mean set extensions, yes.
You won't be able to do any of that during your first few days of using it though. It is a complicated piece of software and, as such, requires a significant learning curve.

View Solution.Your problem is that the program wants a good video card and a fast hard drive and lots of memory and you have none of the above. If you upgraded the RAM to 8 gigs and installed a solid state hard drive you might make the program useable but the real bottleneck is going to be the Intel HD graphics, which cannot be upgraded.
You do have an open slot to add one 4 gig memory module. This is an easy relatively inexpensive upgrade. See here:

I would try this a step at a time. Next would be the solid state drive. That would cost maybe $150. Post back if you need more help.

What version of Adobe After Effects do you have?
Whatever the case, I have not found any Adobe After Effects documentation that include a Premiere Elements project.prel file as a supported import choice.
I suspect that you are going to have to export your Premiere Elements Timeline as a .mp4 file with a After Effects supported compression into After Effects.
But, I would ask in the Adobe After Effects Forum just to double check.

But... once the animation starts the echo ALWAYS...ALWAYS is disrupted and altered by the camera movement, whether its in a x, y , or z path. Sure i can move the camera angle and view it from there, but i cannot have the two moving independent from each other.

Using Adobe After Effects CS5- Trouble with Echo & 3D Camera

i'm using Effects CS5 to a create a set of superman esque titles implementing the method found in the link below

Everything goes smootlhy until i try making additional changes to the animation.
Here's my problem, since this process requires echo to achieve the effect. I try and set an independant camera motion from the text as it extrudes outward. But...once the text begins its animation and the camera starts to move the echo or the extrusion is ALWAYS...ALWAYS altered by the camera. (The path of the echo is follows the path of the camera.) Whether it's in a x, y, or z path it still occurs.
Sure i can change the camera angle and view it from a different perspective stationary, but i can't get them to move independant paths from each other without thecho being altered as well.
IF ANYONE OUT THERE IS A WIZ AT ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS PLEASE PLEASE RESPONDPre-compose the layer, then move the camera. Won't give you correct perspective, though. After all, Echo is simply a 2D buffer accumulation, not a 3D extrusion.

On more research, I discovered the following link showing a workflow to go between FCP X and After Effects. Please disregard my first post. Adobe After Effects is currently in 64 bit, but their site says it is compatible with Mac OS 10.5.8 and 10.6. Not sure if Lion would therefore be included. Sorry for the wrong info.

How to speed-up the Ram Preview/Rendering using Adobe After Effects Cs 5.5?

As the the title says, how can I increase the speed or make the ram preview render a lot faster or make the speed to the fullest?
I've done my researched already but I'm not sure if I did the right thing.
I will list down the things that I've done so far trying to make it faster.
1. Using the SECRET option (Pressing SHIFT) from the Preferences and ticked those two boxes - Disable layer Cache and Ignore sequence rendering errors.
2. Settings for the Memory and Multiprocessing. (Im not sure about this part, I mean I dont know if I did the right thing)
3. No other application's running
My Machine's specs are.
I'm using MSI GT70
-i7 CPU @ 2.30ghz
-16gb of RAM
-Nvidia GT675m
-64bit

Many thanks,Most of the time I have MP turned off. Most of the plug-ins that I use are not MP aware and I seldom use AE's render Cue for rendering for delivery. I use AME and keep working on projects while I'm rendering.
Basic rules, at least 2GB per processor, at least 1 processor for other apps, Make sure the CPU's actually used matches the CPU's assigned, then test with your most common project. If you are doing something tha bogs down the system just turn it off. -

I'll give a very brief overview but, presuming that you are new to After Effects, understanding and executing on this overview will require learning the basics of After Effects.
You'll be creating a 3D scene based on a few 3D layers: one each for the floor and each wall. Each of those 3D layers will be a precomposition layer; the wall layer with the pictures will be based on a precomposition in which you have placed your pictures as individual layers. You will create some 3D lights shining down from above. You'll create a 3D camera that you will then animate to move down the hallway.
As I said, that is a very brief overview. Understanding each of those pieces will require some learning. After Effects is not a simple application, so you do need to be prepared to put in some learning time if you are going to do this yourself. Here is the place to start: http://adobe.ly/AE_basics
All that said, I would recommend that you hire someone to do this for you. Learning a new and complex creative application under the time pressure (and other pressure) that you are under may be too much to ask. -

When i enable Raytraced 3D render with GPU acceleration i am presented with these error messages;
After Effects error: Ray-traced 3d: Initial shader compile failed. (5070::12)
After Effects error: Ray-traced 3D: Out of paged mapped memory for ray tracer. Your project may exceed GPU limits. Try closing other applications. Try Updating the CUDA driver. (5070::2)
When i use CPU only for Ray-Traced Render I get this error message:

PDFs create great, unless they should be over 10 pages and then it appears the data was converted to PDF by viewing the page numbers at the bottom of the PDF but you can only view the first 10 pages in the pdf file.

Have you tried repairing Acrobat from the Help menu?
Acrobat 9 is an older version and incompatible with new OS versions, so I would suggest you to try using Acrobat XI (latest version) and check for the same.

Why can't I create Fillable PDF Forms using Adobe Acrobat X Pro and upload to Dreamweaver?
I can create fillable PDF Forms using Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I can email them to someone using Adobe Reader (free) and they can fill them, save and email to me. But when I upload the form to Dreamweaver CS5, the form is not fillable. And yes, I saved it as a Reader Extended PDF-Enable Additional Features.
I see no reason for this form to fail in Reader. Some questions for you.
1. On the system with Adobe Reader, what is the system and the version of Adobe Reader?
2. Are you viewing the PDF in a browser on the system with Reader, or in an Adobe Reader window?
3. If it's a browser
(a) what is the browser
(b) if you download the file instead, and open directly in Reader, what happens? -
Can I use Adobe After Effects CS6 with OSX 10.10.2?
I have recently updated to OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite.
Adobe CS6 now says it will not run on this operating system.
Is there an update I can get without going to the cloud?Also just had this happen to me. I switched from Windows to mac and AE doesn't work on 10.10.2, currently looking for a solution (if any).

Photoshop and Illustrator updates fail using Adobe Application Manager, why and what can I do?
In the Adobe Application Manager, it says there are updates for both Photoshop and Illustrator. When I click to update, they both downloaded and attempted to install and in the middle of this process, Application Manager shows that the updates fail. After this, upon restart of my Mac–running Lion–Illustrator shows that it's up to date in the Application Manager and Photoshop shows an update is available. Upon trying to re-update Photoshop again, the update fails again and again.
I have updated before a few days ago with no problem, so I don't understand why the updates are failing and why after doing so, now Illustrator shows that it is up to date and Photoshop does not.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so, does anyone know why and what I can do about it?

These would be my suggestions:
Create a new user account with administrative rights, log out of your current account and into that one, launch Adobe Application Manager and attempt the Photoshop update again.

If this fails, uninstall Photoshop (Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers) and reinstall Photoshop then from Adobe Application Manager the attempt the Photoshop update again, also from the newly created user account.
