Can I make the browser in iWeb transparent?
Can I make my browser image in the iWeb transparent somehow? I do my photo editing in Aperture, and can't find a transparency there. Using the graphics inspector transparency in iWeb does not seem to work on the uploaded browser image. I like the look of transparency, I'm not doing this to add another colour layer behind the image.... I have logged many hours on Aperature, but have never come up with the look of varying transparency against a white ground. Would I need a white ground if I ever get my image transparent?

No. The browser background image can't be a transparent background image. It needs to be a solid color or an image. Using an image with a transparent background just causes the transparent background to display as white.
An image with a transparent background can be used for the page background.

How can I make the browser use the proper filename during a forced save, using CFCONTENT/CFHEADER
We have a client using CF8 Server for a site and I am using the CFHEADER/CFCONTENT method to force a file to save to the end-user's computer.
The dialogue comes up as expected, but regardless of what is found in the CFHEADER for a filename, it tries to save the file as the CFM page name.
i.e. The CFM page is signature.cfm. I am trying to make it save a TXT file to the user's computer, which it seems to be trying to do, but the instead of using "sig.txt" as the filename as outlined in the CFHEADER, it is defaulting to "signature.cfm"
While I know that I could change the name and extension and the content in the file would be correct, the mass majority of end-users will not know that they can do that, and the client does not want it to become more complicated than necessary.
Is there a way to make the file change to the proper name in the SAVE AS dialogue?

Websites tend to take longer to open up. With IE8, the same site opens up immediately
I'm guessing the type="application/unknown" is interfering. Try type="text/plain".

Can I make another website using iWeb, and then publish it to a different server through the SMTP panel on iWeb, even though I have a website published on mobile me, can I just use the SMTP engine to publish a different site but to a different server, that's the question I'm asking. Yes. You can do it one of two ways:
1 - select FTP Server in the Publish To menu (click on the site folder to get to the options) and enter the FTP address, username and password and publish as you would if using MMe.
2 - select Publish to Folder and publish. Use a 3rd party FTP client like Cyberduck to upload the site files to there server using the FTP address, etc.

Good afternoon. With the newest update of Firefox for PC (31.0), I have a problem that occurs almost every time I use the browser.
When trying to close a tab, it sometimes cause the browser to freeze during one minute.
Then a dialog-box appears on the screen. It says that the script "chrome://browser/content/tabbrowser.xml:2004" may be busy.
I can choose between two buttons in this dialog-box.
"Continue" which keeps the script running, in theory; though it just closes the dialog-box, makes the browser freeze again, and then the same dialog-box shows up.
"Stop the script" which ends the freeze; but then I'm unable to close tabs (I can still close the browser).
I also noticed that, when the freeze occurs, the content of the tab I tried to close changes to "New Tab".
When I restart the browser, I am able to close tab again, until the freeze shows up again.
The problem started to appear only when I updated Firefox to the 31.0 version (and I didn't add any browser extension in the meanwhile).
Does anyone have an idea of what I could do to avoid the problem? Thank you very much and have a good day!In the immediate future you can try noscript or flashblock addons to block that script.
However upon more research in searching the current Firefox codebase: [http://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/search?q=tabbrowser.xml&case=false] it seems to be referenced in there, but I do not see a reference to the port associated. The port is usually used for media. I would not know how to start to troubleshoot this, but are there any consistent steps/webpages that cause this to start?

Ah, yes- that is an ultra high DPI (dots per inch) display. This is a known issue in Flash Player, which Adobe is working on fixing.
In the mean time, you can get some videos to have normal-sized controls by switching Youtube to the HTML5 video player:

Opening new tabs makes the browser window wider
when opening a new tab in safari
it makes the browser window bigger (at the bottom)
but not only at the bottom actually
after a few close-open's it also starts growing at the top
and for me it's unacceptable cause there are folders that i need fulltime access to (at the top)
is there a way (a script) to prevent safari "grow" and make the browser window bigger in a while ?
i don't really know why is it happening because if you press cmd+t it opens a new tab and the browser window kinda slides bigger at the bottom but then if you press cmd+w it does the opposite and the browser window stays the same size after those actions

i mean take opera for example. it always stays the same size and new opened tabs take the "inside space" if you know what i mean. the browser window doesn't get bigger. there is space allocated especially for tabs
i like safari but it is very important for me that it stays the same size all the time
i have all windows and folders situated exactly where i want them and if something moves and covers other items, it gets uncomfortable

Yes, it sounds like this is the cause.
Some pop-up window code forces the new window to be a certain size. Since it's intended to open in a new window, that normally wouldn't cause problems. But you're forcing the pop-up to open as a new tab in the current window, which causes the current window to be resized to that new page's defined size. -

How can I make the combo box turn to the value of black.
When the show button is pressed (and not before), a filled black square should be
displayed in the display area. The combo box (or drop down list) that enables the user to choose the colour of

for this u need to change the standard code..
but haven't checked its possible or not.. i means exits available or not...
rather i would say.. copy SM37's program to a Z program.. do this requirement... create a tcode say ZSM37 for it..
then this ZSM37 can solve your purpose.
