Can I manipulate the TV "safe" area using compressor?

O.K. here's the deal. I'm burning a DVD of footage that's a 720p, converted to SD. I think all the settings are correct for 16 by 9 Widescreen Letterbox, but when I watch the DVD back on the player I notice that some of the image is still being cropped a little on the sides. The reason this is unacceptable is that I have a shot where a character walks to the edge of the frame, but stays there on the screen. In the DVD they disappear off the screen. Is there a way to control the aspect ratio using compressor even more, so that I can shrink the size of the footage on the screen to a point where I can see everything after it's burnt on a DVD?

Of course I'm changing the scale. That's how I'm working around the problem. I'm using the "motion" tab in final cut pro in the clip to "shrink" the image and then exporting it with the black square around it. The compressing it to an mpeg2. Is this going to reduce the quality of the image? So far, it solves the problem on SD monitors. But on the computer DVD player you do indeed see the black edges. I'm torn here, because I want the best quality image, but I also want the audience to actually see the edges of the film.

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store

You must go in the labview option menu, you can select 'use the local
separator' in the front side submenu (LV6i).
If you use the "From Exponential/Fract/Eng" vi, you are able to select this
opton (with a boolean) without changing the labview parameters.

I'm not sure that you can. Why have so many people got your password? So many in fact, that you don't know how many.
You can see how many computers are authorised to play any songs you have purchased from the iTunes Store, but that isn't quite the same thing.
Perhaps a better idea would be to change the password and not let anyone else know what it is. That would at least prevent anyone else from changing it and locking you out of your own account.

I would say your biggest issue isn't as much your operating system as it is the network you use your device on. For example the most secure device in the world can be used at McDonalds open wifi and have its info intercepted....and it's not your device's fault rather the connection. Any security program is only as good as its weakest component.
THe iOS operating systems are still very secure because they are highly resistent to viruses and malware....but a user can still click on that 'you won a million dollars' link in an e-mail and hand their personal info over to a hacker.
If you feel you can no longer trust it, then stop using it. But I would say a user's internet connection and behavior are larger security vulnerabilities than any device.

My Movies Are Outside The TV-Safe Area

How can I get my movies that I add onto iDVD to stay within the TV safe area? I have widescreen televisions throughout the house, but my movies are getting cut off on all of them.
If I add the movies as slideshows, the video stays within the tv-safe area, but the sound is scratchy and distorted.
So how can I get the movies to show within the tv safe area and have suitable sound? Right now I have to sacrifice one for the other and that is not acceptable.

Tried burning again after dropping the video in as a slideshow and turned the slideshow volume all the way down. Of course when I did that there was no music. But on any other volume setting the music is scratchy and sounds awful.
I also again tried to change the size of the video in Quicktime using the Command J option, and added the video to iDVD as a movie. Again the sound was flawless, but the video was still cutting off parts of the text and picture. I cannot find a TV safe area for movies in iDVD like it offers for slides in the slideshow option.
Cannot seem to get help anywhere. Is nobody else having their video cut off?

A. REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY : This is the function module which prints the data.

TV eats even the Title Safe area

Hi all,
I've put together a DVD with testvid's to see which compression is best.
My testDVD has some buttons to watch those video's. All the buttons are way inside the Title Safe area. The settings are PAL 16:9. I watched it on a PAL-TV 16:9 but it eats even my buttons. It'd kinda like its stretching it way beyond 16:9. Anybody has a clue what to do here? I prefer solving the problem instead of hoping the client's dvdplayer plays it right.
I checked every setting in the TV, the dvd player doesnt have Video-settings. When I put the TV into 4:3 it is also cropping the video.
On my computer everything is normal, I'll do some more tests at home this weekend.. It's a pain in the butt when you do everything by the book and dont get the result you're looking for.

Yes, four were rendered using a 768x576 Pal preset.
After that I compressed them into MPEG-2 PAL 4:3 for DVD, I overlooked this setting, thats why its 4:3.
The other three were rendered 1920x1080 Self containing movie.
After that I compressed them into MPEG-2 PAL 16:9 for DVD.
Settings in DVD Studio Pro are 16:9.
The big question is why the different ratios show 16:9 on my TV but not in VLC.

How do I get most of my movie within the TV safe area?

Have projects in 4:3 and widescreen and match up the project settings with the correct theme settings in iDVD but a very large amount of the footage in both simply does not appear when played on my TV (actually a Plasma computer screen - no tuner - multi viewing options). The full detail is making it onto the disc as when I play back on a computer it shows fine. When on a TV a very large amount of the picture is lost to the extent where the standard titles from imovie don't all show. As my DVD's are all recorded for viewers to use on TV;s how can I scale the whole of the picture to sit within the the Red TV safe box showing on IDVD?

Generally, you don't. You just keep it all there when filming. If for instance you are asking how to change a 720x480 movie to a 650x400 or so to keep it all in the action safe area, then you would be making a video which is not allowed on a DVD. So you do this at the camera; or, if you are editing in something like Final Cut Pro you can crop and zoom. But then you are blowing up part of the picture, and you will see visual artifacts.
If you have a flat-panel TV, then it has no area it cuts off (called "overscan"). But TVs have a setting to create overscan for various reasons. So look in your TV menus for an option to turn overscan off.
Now, you certainly can scale video and put a black mask around it. But that means that many other people would see the black border with a small picture in the middle. The preferred way is to film properly for a variety of TV sets. TVs all have different amounts of overscan, including no overscan for flat-panel TVs, unless an option to create an artificial overscan.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

You didn't write over 150 lines of code and then start testing it, did you?
Don't.
Take baby steps. Write as little as pssiblem test that. Debug and test again until you have something that does exactly what you want it to do.
When you have somehting that works perfectly, take one baby step. Add a tiny amount of code, maybe 1 or 2 lines more, and test again.
When you do get an error, or wrong results, you'll have a much better idea of where the problem is. also, you won't be building code on a flimsy foundation.
If you need help, post the last working version and the new version with the error. Explain what you're trying to do in the new version.
The error message indicates line 133. It looks like line 133 of your code is blank. Does your front end allow completely blank lines in the middle of a query? SQL*Plus doesn't by default; you have to say
SET SQLBLANKLINES ONto have a completely blank line in SQL*Plus. (However, lines containing nothing but at commnet are always allowed.)
You may have noticed that this site normally doesn't display multiple spaces in a row.
Whenever you post formatted text (such as indented code) on this site, type these 6 characters:
