Can I merge my 3 apple I'd accounts?

Can I merge apple I.d. Accounts?

If you can't get into the account via http://appleid.apple.com or http:/iforgot.apple.com then you could try contacting iTune support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

  • Can you merge 2 different apple ID's

can you merge 2 different apple ID's?

Similar question, with a difference. I have set the Mac (BP, 10.8.2) with Apple ID #1, and the iPhone (4S, iOS6) with #2. Stupid of me, of course - but in the meantime I have content in both iClouds, and if I cancel either one, I lose some content. Any way out?

  • I have just used migration assistant to import photos (using an ethernet cable) from my PC. It has worked but they have gone into a new user on my MacPro. How can I merge them into the one user account.

I have just used migration assistant to import photos (using an ethernet cable) from my PC. It has worked but they have gone into a new user on my MacPro. How can I merge them into the one user account.

How many pictures (or how many bytes) are we talking?  Now that the pictures are imported one way to cross users is to use a removable drive (although large volumes of files preclude this).
The other is to login as the user where the pictures are, then copy them into the public drop box of the user where you want the picture.
The arrow is showing (in ths example) copy files from the Pictures folder for my user to the guest user accounts public dropbox.  When you do this you may have to authenticate and you won't be able to see the results of the copy until you log in as the other user.
All users are in the folder "/Users/"

  • How can I merge my two Apple ID's?

I recently activated an iCloud account after upgrading to an iphone5.  ICloud requires an Apple ID in the form of an email address.  My Apple ID was not an email address.  Let's say it was "JohnDoe".  So I logged onto my "JohnDoe" Apple account and tried to change the ID to my one and only email address, "[email protected]".  Well it seems that a number of years back I had already set up an Apple ID with that email address.  No problem, I used the "[email protected]" apple ID  to set up my iCloud account.  Here's the problem.  I had tons of songs, books, apps, etc. saved in a  wish list on my old "JohnDoe" apple ID.  I have a credit on it from itunes gift cards.  Plus, a few of my apple products are registered to that ID.  (My iphone5 is now registered to the "[email protected]" Apple ID.)  I want to have one Apple ID ([email protected]) with my wish list, all my products and everything linked to it.  Can I merge the two?
    Thanks

Given the way Apple insists on working with setting up new devices (i.e. the set-up processes have been encouraging duplicated Apple IDs) it is entirely reasonable to request the ability to merge Apple IDs for those of us who have supported the company for years and have bought a lot of devices, accessories, software, music, books etc from Apple Inc
When do you think this reasonable request will be fulfilled?
We are just fellow users here and as such have no idea if, much less when, Apple will ever allow merging of Apple IDs. You can comment to Apple on the issue via their feedback pages, if you wish:

but I'm quite sure Apple is aware of the interest in such a feature.

    Hi,
I have an old apple id setup with my aol email, account that I had since my first generation Iphone to make purchases online on apple, so I have all my iphone, Ipad,  Mac apple store, Itunes match with this account, then I created a new one when apple lunch mobilme, in that one I have 25 gb of Icloud, I would like to replace my old account aol into my new me account to make my live easier, is it possible, can anyone help,
    Thanks,
    Paul

There isn't a way to transfer your existing AOL emails to your iCloud email account without opening each one and emailing them to your iCloud email address.  However, you can stop accumulating addiional email in your AOL account by going to your email preferences for your account on the AOL website and set up your account to forward all incoming email to your iCloud account.  (I assume AOL allows you to set up email forwarding as it is a fairly standard feature with most email providers.)

  • HT204053 Can I merge my iTunes content into one account??? From my iPhone and iPad.

I would like to use the same apple account for my iPhone and iPad....I messed up and made two! How can I merge the two or move everything from the smaller account into the other without loosing my content? Please I'm new to all this! I have had my iPhone for less than six months!

There is no way to merge accounts.  Sorry.  You'll have to choose the "bigger" account and take a loss on the smaller account's purchases.

  • Can i merge my old apple id's music to my current one to have my old music?

Over the years i have had several apple id's that I have purchased music on and i was wondering if there is a way to merge the id's together so i can hall all of my music?  when i try to sign in to my old id on my iphone 5 i get a message saying "my phone is associated with another apple id, you cannot auto-download or download past purchases with a different apple id for 90 days." should I do this?

Based on the question:  If you have to download past purchases, you would need to log in to the specific account, download the content, then wait 90 days to access the next process.  If you have 3 different computers, you could log into one ID on each, then (possibly) homeshare to get them onto one device.  The ultimate goal would be to get all the content onto a single desktop computer (or laptop).  then you can sync the content to the desired iOS devices (or just play the content on the computers).
    HTH.

  • How can i merge my two apple ids into one

Hi I am still getting my head around itunes, etc.  But i have two ids and now i want to merget them into one. Is there a simple way i can do this.
i have made some purchases on each.. can you tell me a simple way please.. Thanks

I purchased some music on my phone about 18 months ago but never put them on my computer. I dont have that phone now.I guess i could just ignore the old phone data and consider it lost. and move forward...
    Hello Rosalie,
You can get those songs back at no charge!  You don't need the old phone.  Follow one of these guides:
iTunes 10 for Windows: Download previous purchases from the iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1619
iTunes 10 for Mac: Download previous purchases from the iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1706
When you do that, make sure the song files get added to your current iTunes library on your laptop.  Then just stop using the old account.

  • Can I merge purchases from my US iTunes account and UK iTunes account?

While living in the US i made purchases from the iTunes store but have moved to the UK. I've been forced to make purchases from the UK iTunes store. Now I have a new 5S and would like the music purchased in the US on my phone but can't figure out how to access it or move it over to the UK account. I simply want the music I purchased through Apple (in any contry) on my **** phone. I know you need a US bank account tied to a US address and I've done that (even though it's a pain to always have to type in new info when going back and forth between accounts). What am I missing here? For such a brilliant company I can't believe Apple hasn't made this an intuitive process. Way to US centric.

Your music should be on your computer and your backup copy of your computer.  Just sync it to the iphone.
You cannot use the U.S itunes store from the U.K, so you cannot redownload any U.S purcahses.
Certainly you have the music on your computer or a backup copy.

  • How can I merge gmail to my iCloud mail account on my macbook

The p02-imap.mail.me.com as incoming server remains grayed out and I cannot seem to change this setting. Also software should say 10.7.5

What exactly do you want to change? You cannot merge the two accounts but of course you can forward the emails of one account to another.

  • HT204053 can I use the same apple ID/icloud account for 2 iphones?

I have 2 Iphones in the family.  Want the same music, ad apps on both phones.  Can I do this with one Itunes account?

You can use the same AppleID for purchases (iTunes and App store), but as Winston mentions, get a second AppleID for iCloud and iMessage.  Otherwise, you will be sharing the exact same iCloud and iMessage accounts on both phones, so no privacy of messages or email between the devices.

  • Can I create a seperate apple id & iTunes account using the same device?

I want to create a seperate iTunes account for my daughter to use when she borrows my iPad. Is this possible to do without effecting my account I already have linked to it?
    Thanks,
    Leanna

The ipad is designed to be a single user device, while you can log an ID out and another in, there is a possibility that one of the accounts will get restricted and unable to be used for 90 dyas, I do not know exactly why but I have seen many complaints from people here that have attempted it for games and such.

  • I have 2 Apple ids and two corresponding iCloud accounts. My five Apple devices are linked to one or the other. As one consequence a small number of my contacts are associated with one iCloud account, the majority with the other. How can I merge?

For reasons not entirely clear to me I have ended up with two Apple ids, two iCloud accounts and my Apple devices being associated with one or the other iCloud account/Apple id. One of the complications is that my contacts are partially owned by one iCloud account, partially by the other.
    Is there any way to
    - merge the contacts (I have tried exporting from one and importing into the other but one set will overwrite the other)?
    - migrate all devices to one single iCloud account without being locked out for 3 months?
    - merge Apple ids or just delete one of them without locking out devices?
Grateful for any suggestions because this is turning into a headache.

You can merge the contacts from one account with your other one without overwriting them.  Sign into the first account, download them as vCard (iCloud: Export contact information as a vCard), email them to a device signed into the account you want to merge them with, tap the vCard and choose Add..., then Create New Contacts.
You can also migrate a copy of the data in one account and merge it with the other by signing into the account you are leaving, then signing out (or deleting the account if not running iOS 8), then choosing Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Then sign into the other account and choose Merge when prompted.  This won't move Notes however.  If you are syncing notes that you want to migrate from the other account, you can temporarily add the account to your Mac as a secondary account by going to System Preferences>Internet Accounts (or Mail,Contacts,Calendars)>Add Account>iCloud and signing in with the other account ID.  Then enable notes syncing in the secondary account.  You will then be able to open the notes app and drag and drop notes from one account to the other.  When you're done, delete the secondary account from your Mac.
You can't merge IDs as Apple does not allow it.  Also, you won't be locked out of anything for 3 months.  The "90-day switch" rule only applies to changing your iTunes store account, not your iCloud account.  Just leave your iTunes store account as-is.  The ID you use for the iTunes store does not have to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud.

  • Somehow I have two apple accounts. Can I merge the two?

I am not sure why but I have two apple accounts with two different email addresses.  This is causing problems with iMessages not syncing over my devices because the different email addresses cause messages to be sent to different devices so I miss messages.  Can I merge the two apple accounts, if so.  How?

Please see item no. 5 of this article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HE37
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
