Hi there,
In general, the .psd format is fairly backwards compatible. To help get your files ready to be opened in CS3, follow this process:
1) Go to Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling.
2) In the menu, make sure Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility is set to always.
Just in case, you may also want to save your file as a .TIFF, which is a format that will also preserve your layers and is able to be opened in older versions.

Have you tried opening up out of Bridge? If that doesn't work you may new need to download a new driver from Canon. All my peripherals are Canon and I am always having to download new drivers everytime I update. Fortunatly they are really easy to find on Canon's site.

Hi,
After a major equipment failure my company's IT guy re-installed the latest available version of Premier, CC. For the past year I've been using CS6, and now I'm finding I can't open previous projects. Is there a way to fix this using CC or would it be better (or even possible) to dump CC and try to re-load CS6. (Disclaimer: I am not remarkably tech savvy, mainly a writer/producer-type that's still fairly new to Adobe products)

WHICH CS6 do/did you have... the perpetual license version with a serial number, or the version installed by the Cloud?

You probably need to update your Camera Raw plug-in for CS6 to something new enough to understand the 650D raw files.
The usual way you’d do this would be Help / Updates in PS.

Yes you can but you can't go back to CS6 from CC. If the project is very important I would stick with the original version of Premiere, there have been cases of the upgraded project not being completely successful.

I've uninstalled all Adobe programs, even ran the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool. It didn't seem to solve the problem. Would really appreciate any pointers.

Unable to open Bridge CS6 after installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 8

I have been using Bridge CS6 successfully until I installed Photoshop Elements 8 to use with a scanner I bought. After the installation, when clicking on Bridge CS6 it opens Bridge CS5. I had a look at some of the forums and tried Ctrl-clicking on Bridge CS6, but it still opens Bridge CS5. I have also re-installed Photoshop CS6 in the hope that this will fix it. Any suggestions as how to get Bridge CS6 going again will be appreciated!

I was able to sort this myself after I watched the the following video on how to reset the Adobe preferences: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/the-complete-picture-with-julieanne-kost/how-to-reset-photoshop- cs6s-preferences-file/ I did the manual reset where I moved only the preference file to another location e.g. the Desktop. I restarted my computer. Closed Bridge CS5 that was running in the background and then clicked on Bridge CS6 and the program opened. I decided to take a chance to see if this won't fix it and was elated when it worked. Don't ask my why, but it did the job!

Use the Project Manager to collect all of the assets on the PC. Then use that to start your editing on the Mac.

Can I open Premier CS6 file created on PC, in CS5 on Mac

I am working on a video simultaneously with another editor, the idea is that we both edit and both projects should hopefully be vastly different and then once complete to make a master project and take the best cuts of both projects. Initially we were both on CS5 however the other editor has upgraded to CS6. He is editing on a PC and I am editing on a Mac. I am not worried about what CS6 might have to offer, all I want is to be able to use his cuts in my version of CS5. Will This work? Will the projects be able to open accross the different OS and also backwards from CS6 to CS5?

Updated to Maverick OS, now can't open Dreamweaver CS6 (or CC)

Since I upgraded to Maverick OS, I can't open Dreamweaver CS6 (or CC). Here's what I've done so far:
Installed/reinstalled Dreamweaver CS6
Changed preferences and application support folders to "Old Dreamweaver CS6"

I still can't open Dreamweaver CS6.
Here's my specs:

16GB 1333 MHz DDR3
