Yes. You can export iPad Pages and Keynote files as Word and PowerPoint files and you can upload/transfer/email Word and PowerPoint files to the iPad and work on them in Pages and Keynote.
Be advised that there will be some degree of formatting issues and also that the iOS versions of Pges and Keynote do not the full functionality of Word and PowerPoint on a computer.

How can I transfer photos from an IPhone 5 to an IPad 2 using a cable. I have tried using the lightning to firewire adapter with my current lead but this only seems to allow a download from the IPad to the IPhone and not the other way around.
The devices are not designed for transfer of that kind. Use Photo Stream as suggested by another poster, or transfer photos to your computer (a good idea anyway since they will be lost if your device needs to be reset), then use iTunes to sync them to the other devices.

Why isn't the "Find My iPad", "Find My Mac", etc. feature not automatically enabled in the iCloud Settings on every device? My iPad was stolen a couple days ago and it's been showing Offline under "Find My iPhone" feature so I started doing some research. Come to find out "Find My iPad" has to be enabled under the PRIVACY button in SETTINGS. I never knew that!!! That feature is highly needed for Apple products so can some explain why it's not already enabled on every device and actually has to be turned ON from the OFF position and not the other way around? Now some lucky person has stolen my iPad and I can't locate it because Apple wanted to give me the choice to enable it once it was already ******* stolen!
Simply stated that is design. If you want to suggest a change, there is a feedback section elsewhere on this site.

Events entered on my iphone calendar do not appear on my ipad calendar, but events entered the other way around (on Ipad DO appear instantly on my phone calendar. How can I get these calendars to sync both ways instantly?
If you're trying to sync an iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPhone and make sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.

I have programmed iCal and Address book to sync via MobileMe. The info I type in iCal on the MacBook Pro get updated on the iPad, but not the other way around. Any hints?

IOS5 on iPad1, iPad2 and iPhone4S all with iCloud on. Lion 10.7.2 installed on my MacBookPro and iCloud set up/on. Any new iCal entry on either iPad or on the iPhone ends up via iCloud on both iPads and iPhone. BUT NOT ON THE MacBookPro. And iCal entry on the MacBookPro does NOT GET SENT to iCloud.com or to either iPad or the iPhone. This is a huge problem for me because I do all my office scheduling on the iPad or iPhone but rely on the MakeBookPro to print out daily client lists. I REALLY need to get this fixed...it is causing major business issues. " No one so far has had a fix.... :(

I Just synced my iPhone and lost all the info in notes I had on the phone. How do you have the info sync from phone to desktop and not the other way around as I usually make contact changes etc on my phone. I would then like to be able to sync that info from desktop to ipad thanks
It does make sense. The iPhone is a one-person device and just syncs to one computer.
The way it should work is as follows:
Old computer content ---> New computer
New computer <---> syncs to iPhone
But the way you are trying to operate sounds like:
Old computer content ---> iPhone
... and ...
New computer content <---> iPhone
So simply move your old stuff (either directly from iTunes, or from a computer backup) to the new computer, have it all there, then sync your iPhone to the new machine. -
Why does the clone stamp work when I go from a darker color to a lighter color but not the other way around? How can I lighted a dark area? The Lasso tool takes from the wrong area.

I borrowed the image below for an HDR workshop I ran at the 2010 PSNZ National Convention, to demonstrate a method of removing halos. You'll remember that halos were a serious problem with early HDR, and while the halos in this image were caused by over sharpening, they are perfect for demonstrating this technique.
It relies on the fact that halos so often tend to put a lighter tone between the two areas where sharpening is being applied. Whether that is the sky abutting a dark line of hills, or the rock and little tower as in this image. I've uploaded it at the size it was supplied to me at (about 2700 pixels wide). So
Click to open the full image, right click and copy, and paste into Photoshop.
Select the clone tool, and set its blend mode to Darken.
Try to sample on a line horizontal to where you want to clone, to give the best tonal match, and start cloning.
Because the sky is darker than the halo, it overwrites it. But the rock is darker than the sky, so it has no affect.
It works even better if you clone on a new layer also set to Darken. No masking, just Photoshop blend mode magic.
You can also fix the little tower. Use a great big brush — just remember to sample horizontal to match the horizon.
Back then I was using the same trick with CAs after forgetting to fix them in ACR, and having done too much work to start again after spotting the problem. -
I m able to copy and paste selected files from external hard drive to my mac but not the other way around. Im not able to copy files from Mac to external hard drive.
The same is working fine with USB flash memory.

Don't use NTFS, remove your data off it first and change the format to something the Mac and PC can read, but doens't cost money or require software.

I put my iPhone threw the replacement option today and I'm just so confused because I'm not sure if the new iPhone will be shipped to me first and I'll ship my cracked and non-replaceable iPhone back to them or if it is the other way around, I do note that it is a cracked screen (shattered) and it still has the Apple's Limited Warranty still on it. But I know I dont have Apple Care+ so I did pay the $229 plus tax for the iPhone to be replaced. Just not too sure if the iphone will be shipped to me first or vise versa. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Its currently stuck on this, is this an idication that I have to ship mine first?You will need to send the phone. You can call apple care to set this up. They can send to you first but it does require a hold onn your card for the full ammount of the new phone untill they get the old one back. Again apple care can help with this.

Amongst other things, I've updated all Firewalls to grant Mozilla access, rebooted the computer, checked your FAQs but I am now running Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security (not the original Trend Micro, which your FAQ is out-of-date for anyways) and you don't have any advice in regards to that program. I receive the same error page when I try to update any of the Plugins which are indicated as requiring an update in Firefox's Plugin Check & Updates page.

Re: my security software: I use Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (also Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, if that helps).
I've now tried the above link's instructions for configuring Windows Firewall to allow Firefox access. It may have helped slightly with the error (which seems to be happening a bit less often); however, the primitive-looking-web-page problem is if anything worse, pages are INCREDIBLY slow to load, and the error remains frequent (can't tell if this possible respite is just temporary, or even mere wishful thinking on my part). In any case, though, my original problem hasn't been solved yet. -
When I delete an email from my iPad, it deletes automatically from my iMac as well. How do I arrange to have emails I delete from my iMac automatically delete from my iPad?

Ever since ICloud, my local Itunes library has been poluted with old music that I got rid of a long time ago.
I purchased an album from the Itunes Store App on my Iphone, listened to all the songs and decided I don't like all of them but some of them. So I went on my laptop and the album I purchased loaded into Itunes. I manually deleted the content I didn't want from my Itunes library. Once my library was set the way I wanted, I wanted my Itunes library synced into my Iphone, but instead, my Iphone's content gets re-synced back into my Itunes library and the content I once deleted tries to re-download.
It's agrivating that what was once an easy automated process is now a slow agonzing manual process. I'm considering getting rid of my phone if I can't find a remedy for this, which is the only apple product I now own.

I don't mind streaming the old music on my Iphone but I DO NOT want it downloaded into my phone or into my library. I like to keep ICloud and my Itunes Library seperate.
I just want to click "Sync" on Itunes, and my phone syncs EXACTLY how my Itunes library is.
Please help...Backup, then restore the iPhone without syncing. Only the content currently in your library can be restored back to it.
Turn off all options in iTunes and on the device for automatic downloading of purchases.
In principle purchases made on the device are copied into the iTunes library when syncing. This ensures that you have the media ready to place back on it or a replacement should the device be lost, stolen, damaged, or need restoring, When you want to remove content either delete it manually from both the device & the library at the same time, or uncheck it within the library so that it is removed from the device during sync, then remove from the library later.

Can I charge a 38mm watch with a 42mm charger? Or the other way around?
I have a 42mm Watch and my wife has a 38mm sport. I bought an extra 42mm charger that I leave in my laptop bag. Before we left I put her 38mm on my 42mm charger and it showed charging. Now that we are gone on a trip I put her watch on the charger and it showed charging but the battery level actually went down. I did some reading and it seems if you turn the watch off and back on it seems to charge better. I put it back on the charger and it actually went up some.
Now when I put my 42mm on there it charges in a hurry but the 38 seems slow. I guess I'll charge mine first and turn it off and let hers charge over night.
What are the difference in between the 38mm and 42mm chargers? Is it just the physical size? Can they be used interchangeably?

D.OK - there is more to the story. The reboot seems to have helped but the other thing is the band. The band is very stiff on the sport band. I believe it was raising the watch up off the charger. Yes, it said charging but it wasn't charing very fast. I put the charger up on a corner of my iPad so the watch band was not resting on the table as much. The watch started charing must faster.
