Can I open multiple bookmarks at a time like on the desktop version of Firefox has Open in All Tabs?

The desktop version of Firefox allows me to open multiple bookmarks at a time when they are all in a particular folder. I cant seem to find a place that allows this in Firefox Beta. Does it even exist and if not please tell me you plan on adding it.

You can modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

I guess I'm not explaining myself fully. I have a home page designation in firefox preferences that starts firefox up with 5 sites. that pretty fills up my screen with tabs.
At some point I want to initiate another WINDOW in firefox (NOT a tab). I would like to be able to open up a window that ONLY has ONE tab, or as if there were only one site designated as the home page. This gives me a workspace that has my most useful sites available in tabs in one window, and also another WINDOW that I can move around in and even create more tabs without messing up my primary set of TABS (in my primary window). I see how this might not be doable without doing what I do now, which is open up a new window, and then close tabs until the new window just has one tab for me to work from.

Why can I not use my Norton Toolbar... It is a very important item... If I can not run norton toolbar, then I do not want the new version of firefox.... How do I go back to my old version..

Norton has had over 5 months to work in their Firefox extensions, since the API's were locked for 4.0. Ask Norton why they pull this crap every time Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox. When Firefox 3.6 was released mid-January 2010, it took Norton until almost April to come up with a working version of their Firefox extensions.

I downloaded Firefox 4.0.1 and have not been able to use my DigitalPersona fingerprint login since. Will this be added on or can you tell me how to go back to using the older version of Firefox so I can use my fingerprint login again? Thanks

The "Organize Bookmarks" menu is not present with the new version of Firefox.

With the new version of Firefox, "organize bookmarks" is no longer present under the Bookmarks menu. Therefore, I am unable to export my bookmarks.

I found it. "Organize Bookmarks" is now "Show All Bookmarks".

The latest version of Firefox has a compatability problem with the Reget download manger which means I can only download zipped files rather than large MOV or MKV files as could previously be done. Is there a solution to this issue?

As per above the Reget add on is now not compatible with Firefox's latest version. Is this something which Firefox is looking into? Is there a work around or is this up to Reget to remedy?

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.

Had the Yahoo toolbar, which the current version of Firefox has deleted. Instead I put my Yahoo toolbar links on the Firefox bookmark toolbar. Rest of question in details.

Instead of just having the icons and being able to hover over them to see what they are (in case I forgot) the Firefox toolbar shows the icon and the name- which takes up a lot of room on the tool bar and not all my icons show. Can I change this? It's annoying not to see all the icons as in the Yahoo toolbar I want to see either the icons of my shortcuts only - or I want to shorten up the tab size of the shortcuts so I can show more of them without shortening up the tabs at the top of the page.

I'm working with an older lady who keeps giving up her password because her older lady friends keep sending her links. I think she finally gets not to click on the links but she is now very, very paranoid and would like that added security of a anti-phishing extension/add-on in Firefox. I looked a few of them but wasn't certain which one would work best for her based on using a Mac.

The new version of firefox has cancelled out the 'pinch' function on macbook trackpad. is this intentional?or what can i do to restore this function. if so where do i download the old version of firefox again.

As the article states the "Modern" app version of Skype on PC's is to be shut down.
Got to admit I agree with them as it just didn't work, Surface RT users will still be able to use it, and although there is no mention of the Xbox One or WP versions of the app, I assume they will still work as well as they actually work.

My plan to use the "People" app to use Skype instead of the "Modern" version of Skype has fallen at the first hurdle.
I got the desktop version installed on the Stream and un-installed the app version, then went to the people app and when you ckick on a Skype function it says you need the app version to use this function and suggests you visit the store, this option should stop after the Skype app becomes obsolete......
I tested this on my desktop and Surface Pro with the same results.
So you are reduced to using full Outlook if you have it and this would be a bit a bit small on a 7 inch tablet so to stop the people app having broken links you need to not show the Skype contacts.
I wonder if MS have thought this through.
I do accept the "Modern" app version of Skype was not very good, and there is probably a good reason to kill it for future proofing Skype on Windows 10, but it does look a bit like Kurplunk to me.......

Version 4 will not open a .ft3 file by using the Fronimo software installed on my computer; all previous versions of Firefox would open the file.

I frequently us a website called gerbode.net. This site has many files with the extension of .ft3. These files can be opened with a program called "Fronimo" which I have on my computer.
All the previous versions of Firefox would open these files directly from the website by using my software...no longer. Actually, Firefox partially opens the text portion of the file. Is there an option to set firefox android to never remember browsing history like you can on the desktop version?

Are there any options within the android version of Firefox to set the history to never remember like you can in the desktop version of Firefox and if not will this feature ever be available on Firefox android.

I looked for it in the about:config but could not find it, however this may be because im using the beta version. So i added a new Boolean in the about:config named "browser.privatebrowsing.autostart" and set it to true. Once I had done this I found firefox was no longer keeping a record of webpage that been visited. Thanks for your help @cor-el

Safari 8 no way to open multiple bookmarks

When using keyboard shortcut cmd + L to get to my bookmarks, there is no way to open multiple bookmarks. I have to open one by one, very ineffective. I want as much screen estate as possible, this of course means I have to enable "View Bookmarks".

First, I want to thank you for directing me to the Safari 1.0 link. I didn't know about the "http://docs.info.apple" source before. I downloaded Safari and -- lo and behold! -- it installed without a hitch. (By the way, Safari was made available in June '03 - which is just about when I got my iBook. I know it came included when I cracked open the box because until I downloaded Firefox, it was the browser I used to play on the Internet.) However, I will not now take any chances on re-installing the software that came from the factory. There is something very, very ugly going on because it is no longer compatible with my operating system. At least with only the system itself restored, I can get on the Internet and also get mail.
Second, I'm not savvy about computers, so I'm going to assume that what you want is the size of my memory, which is 384MB. The rest of the info about the iBook is the same as my previous post.

In the previous versions of Firefox when you went to you Bookmarks menu it gave you the options to either Bookmark This Page 'command' + 'D', Subscribe to this Page, Bookmark All Tabs 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'D', and Organize Bookmarks 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'B' however in the newest version of Firefox there is no Bookmark All Tabs so you can bookmark all the tabs that you have up in one window at a time. So I need to know if it is possible that the feature is now in a different place, is gone altogether, or if you can get that feature another way?
For me personally and my work I go through hundreds of web pages a day and save around half of those so it is imperative that I be able to bookmark more then one tab at a time because I can't be bothered to bookmark every single page separately and then go through hundreds of tabs in my Unsorted bookmarks in order to sort those bookmarks. It is simple inconvenient to sort every bookmark individually that is why the previous version of Firefox with the Bookmark All Tabs button was superior in its convenience.

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
