MilindaiPads bought in the US are not locked to a carrier, but only the AT&T version uses micro-sim cards - the Verizon model is CDMA based and doesn't use sim cards, so for that reason is effectively locked. With the AT&T version you should be able to just swap in a local micro-sim - you don't have to activate a service with AT&T

Could you please tell me why as a Brit resident in Japan therefore having a billing address that is Japanese is forced to only get service from the Japanese online store? Is there not some way of allowing me to select movies and music to buy and download from other stores. Why do am i forced to try to nread Japanese when I have selected English as my language. The price for Downloads is no different and even if it was I am happy to pay. This also applies to Movie rental which is crazy and extremely restrictive. I a supposed GLOBAL community why does Apple do this.
You can buy ONLY from the itunes store of your country of residence (As proven by valid billing address of credit card) and ONLY while inside the borders of that country.

I'm trying to remove my CC information from the Apple Online Store, but it won't let me erase it. When I look for a way online, I only find information on how to erase it from the iTunes Store. Maybe the answer is right in front of me but I'm not seeing it, but some help would be much appreciated.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning payment information. Removing the payment information from your Apple ID will remove the data from the various stores.

Purchasing from the US Online Store
Can i buy something from the US Online Store for a friend living in the US using my (foreign) cypriot visa card and have the item shipped to his US adrress?
Unfortunately no, that cannot be done.
You can only make purchases in the store for the country where you live and to do so you must have a bank card in that same country with a verufyable billing address for the card in that same country.
There are no provisions currently for doing these purchases across international boundaries.

In rereading your question I may have misunderstood you. I gave an answer for the iTunes/Mac App Stores, but now believe that you were actually asking about the Apple store at store.apple.com. I don't have experience with that, but I believe that it is basically the same. I don't believe that the US store will accept your Cypriot bank card (with your Cypriot billing address) as a form of payment.
Give it a try, the most that can happen is that the system rejects your bank card. -

Many thanks.I don't believe there is any correlation between the serial number and the version of iOS, but the sales person may be able to tell you when the unit was received into their stock. If it was before September 18th, it certainly should have iOS 6.

(Sorry, if my English is bad)The Apple Stores will not ship out of their country, and I believe similar restrictions are placed on authorized resellers. So no, that will probably not be possible. Unless you or someone you know will be traveling to Singapore, your friend will probably need to wait until the iPad mini in Thailand is released, which I would recommend anyway since until it is her boyfriend would not be able to get any service on the iPad mini should service be required.

You can change the settings in Security & Privacy to "Anywhere"...
That should work... as to whether the printer driver will work, that's another question.
