Can I pick up if I'm not Primary acct holder?

I'm buying the new iphone 4 on release day and would like to pre-order and pick up at the Apple store. However, I thought that my phone was eligible for upgrade, but it's not- my husband's is the primary line so his phone is up.
He doesn't care to get the new phone so we're going to order it under his line and just set it up with my sim (AT&T said this was fine). Anyway, my question- if I order it for him, can I go pick it up or does he have to be there also?

I am. I can call and make any changes- but am I going to run into any problems in the Apple store?

Verizon Cloud login for iPad and PC for second line (not primary account holder line)

I am the primary account holder but the primary line is associated with my wife's phone so I added Verizon Cloud to the second line which is my phone.
I downloaded the Verizon Cloud app to my iPhone and backed up my data. The Verizon Cloud app did not ask for a password and must have recognized that my device was authorized.
However, I can not access my Verizon Cloud "account" for my line from my iPad or PC. When I use the account name and password for My Verizon (which is associated with the primary line) I get an error.
During the setup process of the Verizon Cloud app on my phone I supplied my email address but was never asked to setup a password for my line/device.
How can I access my line's Verizon Cloud storage from my iPad or PC?
Does Verizon Cloud only work for the primary account holder?

I have an iphone 5. I am having problems accessing wi fi. I can get a signal at my home however my phone stopped my wi fi signal at work and also anywhere else I look for a signal. My husband and child have an iphone 4 and a 4S and they get far better signal than me. They can also pick up our secured wi fi at work but I can't. First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

No. Call Apple Care and give them the serial number. They may be able to tell you who it is locked to.

Can I pick what is transferred from iMac to new MBP ?? (iMac larger HD)

My new 17" MBP 2.33/2GB/7200rpm100gb laptop shipped today (after a weeks delay) and should arrive Thurs 16th in CT.
I also own iMac G5 2.1 Ghz, 20", an eMac 1Ghz G4, and now, finally deceased PowerBook G3 500 Pismo (2000), 1GB RAM; 60gb 7200rpm.
When I got my iMac (which I use at work & home) I transfered via firewire everything from my PB G3 500, the setup program on iMac just transferred everything and only gave me the option to transfer or not.
But my iMac disk, 250GB, is 4 gb short of being full from music and work files). Can I pick and choose which files or programs are transferred to new 100gb drive ?? I don't want all the programs and files sent.
I really only want Mail/Address Book/Calender files, accounts and contacts, plus Safari's bookmarks.
I don't want all keychains, extra programs and all music files sent.

Migration Assistant won't provide file level transfers. It's also not a good way to transfer data between PPC and Intel Macs. Your best option is to simply copy the files from one computer to the other. You can connect the computers via network and transfer using file sharing or you can connect them via Firewire cable and use Target Disk Mode.
You will find the Mail and Safari data in /Home/Library/Mail/ and /Home/Library/Safari/ folders, respectively. Address Book and iCal data are found in /Home/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/ folder and /Home/Library/Application Support/iCal/ folder, respectively. Be sure to also copy the preference files from the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder for Mail, Safari, Address Book, and iCal. They will start with "com.apple." and end with ".plist".
Because your older Macs are PPC machines avoid transferring anything other than your data files. Intel and PPC software are not compatible.

Is there any way BPM can read/pick the existing process from ECC system (may be solution manager workflow) and model the same.
Just trying to make sure from experts that it is not possible before replying client.

how to implement this from solution manger?
All we know was to expose the BAPI/RFC's functionalities as web services from ECC and consume in BPM tasks or directly call these BApis in to BPM tasks.

You can try resetting it to see if that turns it on, but if it does not work, the iPhone is probably damaged from the fall and you should take it to an Apple Store so that they can have a look and determine if it is repairable. An out of warranty replacement will cost you money but much less than if you had to buy a new phone.

Can I pick which GPU is used for CUDA? I have 3 X GTX480

I'm taking a gaming pc and getting in to video. Asus Rampage 3 extreme, 980x, 12gb ram, and 3 GTX 480's.
I plan on hooking up 3 (or 4) monitors.
If I hook up the monitors to cards 1 and 2, can I pick to use GPU 3 as the CUDA GPU in PPro?
I know sli won't help the cuda process. Should I just sli (and thus mean only bridge) the 1st 2 cards?
Should I sli at all? I don't see what the benefit would be as I'm focusing on taking advantage of the CUDA on GPU #3.

I needed to confirm which gpu was used by adobe, thus will put my other monitors on cards 2 and 3. Might want to wander through the Nvidia forum and maybe query some specifics there. Look for some posts from Raptor, he's good. No point in sli from what I see.
I'm keeping my center monitor as primary, so when I'm not doing this, I can disable all other monitors, sli the 3 cards with center monitor and play some fast 3D gaming.
Bottleneck? If similar to this box, only thing I see is how fast can you get the cpu to crunch rendering and stay stable.

I-touch 4g users! Can I pick your brains?

Am thinking of getting the I-touch 4g, was going to hold off until the 5g came out but its so up in the air and it feels like too long to wait, plus I'm hearing mixed things about it and seems like it wont suit me a much as the 4g would.
So, questions!
1. Can I read my email on an i-touch? Like hotmail, yahoo, googlemail etc or do I have to set up a new account for it- does it let me read emails at all? And also can I respond to them on the touch?
2. Can I get a spotify account and use that to listen to music or do I need to pay for music to listen to it/stream on an i-touch? I know there is a spotify app but not sure if it can be used for both the i-touch and the i-phone.
3. How safe is it from being dropped? I've had a nokia phone, an LG handset a very old nano and various sony MP3 players, all don't seem to mind being dropped on the floor from about 4 ft high (however accidentally!) as they still played fine, worked fine and had no cracks of bits fall off them- if they did (eg the nokia) it was fairly straight forward in terms of clicking it back together. Is the i-touch as safe as this or is it prone to collecting cracks on the face?
4. Can you get google maps on an i-touch?
5. Do you think there are any things you'd improve on the 4g model you have/have tried?
6. Is it possible to download i-tunes on the move? (eg not connected to a computer) or is that just the i-phone?

i dropped it (threw it actually, though I don't recommend it...) and it works like a charm...

You will have to contact Apple, try the local store, and ask. I do not think that refurbished iPod are available at local stores. The may be able to ship a refurbished iPod to your local store for pickup though.

Hello there. My husband works 14 hour, and we have been needing new cell service for quite some time. We went on to bestbuy.com, and ordered the phones, along with the service. His name went on the contract, but my name went down as the pick up person, and we even used my credit card to pay. However, when we got the "ready to pick-up" email, it states that the person who is on the contract must be present for pickup. This is exactly what we were trying to avoid.
I called the store to ask about this policy, and was told "the person on the order has to pick it up" -- I'm on the order, he's on the contract -- but that's not what the pick up email has listed. We live about 30 mins from Best Buy, and I have a two year old I have to pick up from daycare before she and I head that way. It's a hassle to take a two year old ANYWHERE, so I want to make sure that I am not going to go there, and get turned away empty handed. Anyone have any advice? Since it is a new contract, we are unable to put me as an authorized user.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the primary account holder does need to be present to pick up any phone purchased as an upgrade or as part of a new line of service -- their signature is required to complete the transaction and activation of the device. Phones purchased at full retail price as replacement devices, however, can typically be picked up using Friends & Family pickup options. Here's the deal. If you ever open a Numbers file with Version 3, the file is converted to Version 3 and can't be opened again by Version 2. Version 2 and Version 3 are undoubtedly both on your machine and they look so similar that you may not realize which you are using. So, there are two steps to getting into trouble.
1. Open a Numbers 2 file with Numbers 3, edit it and Close it.
2. Try to open that file with Version 2. You ill get the error.
To always get it right, find the file you want to open in Finder, Right-Click it and choose Open With... and pick Version 3 from the drop down list.
If you have a file that you prefer to use only in Version 2, always use Open with... Numbers 2.3.
